The bus ride part 2
As all this was happening Daniella had shortened her skirt, lowered her top and applied a lot more make-up and was now making her way towards Liam. “Hey, you seem kind of quite what’s on your mind?” she purred “Um nothing much” he replied “aw strong silent type are we, I like that in a man” “I see.” It was easy to see Daniella was getting pissed off with the lack of reaction she was getting but wasn’t that quick to give up. “Has anyone ever told you how nice your eyes are?” she questioned “no” “oh well you do.” “That’s nice” “this tops new what do you thing about it? I like the embroidery around the chest.” “I think it clashes with your eyes.” He said bluntly. Daniella was very pissed at this. “Why don’t you look at me when I putting in an effort to speak with you. You seem to have no desire to speak with women. Why!? What wrong with me!? Pay attention to me god dam it. Maybe you’re just gay!” she growled. “It wouldn’t matter.” “What wouldn’t?” “My sexuality, if I was straight or if I was gay I wouldn’t look at you like that. You’re just not my type.” With that Daniella left in a huff to go and sulk.
“Hello, you are how?” Beth said as she tried to start a conversation with Tom. “Me? Oh I’m fine. How are you?” Beth took a minute to understand what he was saying “I’m excited much. To a funfair I have not gone.” “Really? Never gone to a funfair wow. Do you know what there is there?” a pause for a moment “no what is there?” “Well there are many rides, big and small ones, and loads of trailers selling different kinds of sweet foods, and games where you can win prises…” Tom rambled on about the funfair enjoying having someone to talk to that would just listen and not question. It was true she may not understand a word she was saying but just having someone there to listen was worth rambling on about nothing.
George had been watching everyone’s conversations; he couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy that they were all speaking to someone else. He wanted attention from someone other than Liz. She was getting on his nerves going on about roses and though he wouldn’t admit it he wanted some attention from another male. George wanted to be around the same sex more and more lately. Its not that he didn’t like girls but he wanted attention from another male. He hated to think about it but he couldn’t help but think that something was up with him.
Beavis came to sit next to George breaking his chain of thought. “What are you thinking about?” he asked “what dose it matter to you?” he replied coldly. To George Beavis was just an attractive attention seeking bully, Beavis didn’t deserve his time, however George felt he wanted to spend time with him. “You may just see me as some bully but don’t judge what I’m really like before you know me I may care what people are thinking you don’t know.” George was surprised by this, he would have never of thought that Beavis felt like that and he would be so willing to talk to George about it. “I’m um sorry, well if you must know I have been having some odd dreams lately and I was just thinking about them.” “What were they about?” George tried to hide a blush at this “I… um just some wired stuff, its hard to explain.”
The bus pulled to a halt and the funfair could be seen. It was like a city of lights against the darkening sky. Everyone’s eyes were widening at the sight that was before them and excitement grew while sadness was being lost.
