Chapter ~Four ~

Chapter ~Four ~

Warmth and strength surrounded her body like a blanket. She felt heaviness on her chest and a massaging motion began at her breasts that made her shiver. The massaging continued as tremendous heat and a sucking feeling centered on her right nipple. Manon moaned and arched her body as tendrils of tingling pleasure ran from her breasts to the pit of her stomach. A gasping cry escaped her as she slowly opened her eyes to see jet-black hair on her chest and a man suckling at her breast.

Manon gasped and scooted away from the man causing her nipple to pop from his mouth. Kagan slowly raised his head. Manon stared into the most intense blue eyes she had ever seen and trembled.

“You know me.”

She recognized the deep voice and relaxed. She watched his eyes drop to her bare breasts. Manon suddenly covered them as best as she could and looked down at the bed. Kagan slowly moved his hand towards her right ankle. She gave a cry as she slid down the bed towards him from his vicious pull on her ankle. He moved between her thighs and stared down into her eyes.

Fear filled her body but it began to wane as she gazed into his intense eyes. His stare made her feel warm and safe.

“I have read you thoughts.” He grabbed a handful of black hair at the top of her head as his face moved closer to hers.

“You say no man will ever touch you.” His lips hovered over hers. He could feel her hot breaths coming in pants as he inched closer. “I will touch you.”

Manon whimpered under his lips, which were not rushed or hard against hers. He was patient and coaxing with his kiss. She moaned against his lips. Kagan’s free hand slowly descended to her left breast and gently squeezed the flesh before running his thumb over the hard dark nipple. Her soft moaning made him deepen the kiss. Her arms came from the bed and circled his neck.

Nature taught him all that he needed to know.

A loud gasp escaped her as her body arched from the bed as his fingers brushed the sensitive nub of nerves hidden by her flesh. Kagan watched her face contort with pleasure as his fingers repeatedly brushed what made her moan and whimper. His body began to harden to her voice and the sensuous movements of her hips and body. Kagan removed his fingers and his hard flesh replaced them, pressing hard against the moist lips of her flesh.

Manon arched her neck and cried out as he continued to push hard against her until he gained entrance. Kagan stopped when the head of his flesh was fully inside her tight and wet body. She was no longer moving against him.

The trees began to sway and the birds took to the air. The shadows grew long across the green grass and the force under the ground began to hum and move around the dwelling where the Woodland man prepared to claim his mate.

He leaned his face down to hers that now contorted in pain. Her legs wrapped around his in an effort to stop further penetration. Her eyes closed hiding the tears beneath them. Kagan placed the right palm of his hand beside her waist and his left palm beside her head and raised his heavy body from hers staring at her closed eyes that slowly opened allowing the tears to run out the corners.

Pressure and uncomfortable fullness began to invade her body as he slowly began to house his flesh inside of her. The sudden vision of men setting foot on his land thudded in their bodies like a heartbeat. Manon’s eyes flew open and stared into his feeling the power flowing from him as he stopped moving inside of her. He began to withdraw and felt her stiffen as he completely pulled his body from hers.

She watched him move from the bed slowly still staring at her dark eyes. The black moss enveloped his body as he watched her eyes slowly close. He wanted to stay and those that invaded his land would feel his wrath.

“All I see are trees and more trees Henry where is the game.” The four hunters stumbled over the thick roots running through the forest floor.

The lead hunter glared over his shoulder at the young man. “Well if there was any you scared them away.”

The trees began to sway, the lead hunter held up his hand, and everyone stopped walking. Something stood in the distance waiting for them.

“What in the hell is that?”

One of the hunters raised his binoculars but when he focused, the figure was gone. The moment he lowered the binoculars a man in a long black duster stood before him. Kagan slammed his hand through the man’s chest and ripped out his heart. The men started screaming and the lead hunter took aim at Kagan.

The Woodland man moved out of the path of the bullet with incredible speed and it struck one of the other hunter’s in the neck. The rifle jammed as he tried to fire again. Kagan advanced on the young man screaming and slammed the palm of his hand into the man‘s face sending him flying into the base of a tree ten feet away. His broken body crumpled to the ground. Kagan turned towards the lead hunter trying fixed the jammed rifle. He stumbled back and threw the weapon away. He pulled out his handgun and began firing. The bullets bounced off the black moss. Finally, the hunter aimed at Kagan’s face only to see the thing before him grab the bullet in mid air before it struck him.

There was suddenly silence and then he heard humming from underground. The lead hunter looked away from the intense blue eyes straight into eight black bulging eyes. He screamed as spider-like legs dragged him under the earth. Kagan dropped the heart to the ground. The black moss on his body absorbed the blood on his hand and Kagan walked away.

“What is going on Ned? Why is IA here talking to the Captian?”

“How the fuck should I know Rheese I just got here.” Ned glared at his fellow officer sitting across from his desk.

The three others in their group walked towards the discussion just as IA men led the Captain out of the office. The five men watched the eyes of their leader as he walked by them.

Dave turned to his friends with a serious look. “He won’t talk but Tarren will. The doctors say he will recover; one of us has to make sure that does not happen.”

Carter nodded. “I will make sure.”

“What about his daughter she knows about us and her father? No one can find her.”

Dave lowered his voice. “Find that baseball coach they talked a lot from what Tarren said. He will know where she went and if he won’t talk, make him.”
