Ch. 3
Deja Vu
When Calista closed the door, she took a deep breath. That actually went well. Calista felt some hope stir within her too. She had seen the flicker of recognition in Ariana’s eyes when she first saw her. She also saw the shock, even though Ariana hid it well. She wondered how much Ariana had changed all these years and how much didn’t change. One thing that hadn’t changed was Ariana’s politeness and sweet personality. Being the youngest of 5 Ariana had always been shy and sweet. She also followed her older siblings around like a little duckling. Calista smiled at the memory of when she and Alyssa got into trouble for playing in mud. But in the end, everyone got a good laugh out of that. Still reminiscing, Calista went back to work.

Dear Diary,
You wouldn’t believe what happened today! Francine and I went to see her new neighbor. Her name is Calista Dawson. She’s going to be my World Lit professor! I couldn’t believe it! She’s only 5 years older than me! But was shocked me more was the fact that we looked so alike! Same bone structure, same skin, same hair . . . Err . . Well, her hair is lighter than mine. I also have this feeling that we’ve met before too! Could she be one of my long lost family members? She must be! I will have to find out sooner or later. I can’t wait to see her again. I’ll write to you soon Diary.
Ariana finished writing in her diary before locking it up and putting it away. She couldn’t stop thinking about Calista. She wanted to learn as much as she could about her new professor. Unfortunately, that would have to wait until another time. She had to get her play down before college started. So without further delay, she went to her computer and began typing.

The new few weeks went by in a flash for Ariana. She really couldn’t believe that tomorrow was her first day of college. She was pretty sure she had everything ready. She could not believe that this would be her last year and she soon would be graduating. At the moment, Ariana was doing her daily walk. She always made a habit of walking and hiking every day to stay in shape. She might have been 5’2”, but she was a strong walker and when she felt energized enough, she ran at times. She loved the wind and the fresh air. It always brought a sense of awareness to her and she often felt she could dance on the wind like a bird. Soon, Ariana makes it to her most favorite part of the area. It was a cliff overlooking the town. It wasn’t large, but decent enough. Ariana was right on the edge looking all over. She sat down and took a sip of her bottled water that she had. Laying back and looking at the clouds, she suddenly got a sense of déjà vu. It felt like she had done this before. A memory flashes into her mind, but only for an instant. She had been a little girl laying on the ground surround by 4 other girls. Ariana quickly sat up and gasp. What that an actual memory? Why couldn’t she remember? Something told her she would knew soon.

A/N: Yes, I know it's a little short but it covers the basic areas for this segment. Hope you liked it!
