chapter 4
Sabrina kept staring at the phone like it was a monster, but she can’t just call Frank and tell him what she did and going to do. He is so going to be angry, Sabrina thought, he is so going to kill me. After debating for a while she settled her mind and picked the phone.
“Frank Anderson.”
“Hi Frank it’s me.” She said hesitantly.
“What’s wrong Sabrina?” he caught her mood in an instant.
“Well something happened this morning………….” She trailed off.
“Josh.” Frank said slowly.
“Uh aha.” Sabrina started explaining what happened.

“Are you sure you packed everything?” Ginny shouted from across the hall.
“Yes aunt Ginny.” The twins shouted back in unison.
“What did you guys have to pack?” Sabrina asked going to there room and raising an eyebrow.
“Barbie’s clothes.” Said Honey pouting as if her mother shouldn’t even ask.
“My playstation.” Said Lucien explaining to his mother, he knows girls don’t know these things.
“Lu, you don’t have a playstation.” Ginny stated after entering the room behind Sabrina.
“Dad got me one.” Lucien said proudly, Ginny looked at Sabrina’s face and decided not to ask.
“He is so going to spoil these kids.” Ginny said when she and Sabrina sat in the kitchen having a cup of tea and waiting for Josh to come and pick them up.
“Well he said it’s the only thing that’s keeping him bonded with Lucien and honey.” Sabrina explained sipping from her tea.
“Honey?” Ginny asked raising her eyebrow.
“She Dresses Barbie as a cheerleader and cheers for the winners, and apparently hits the loser so…” Sabrina answered smiling a little.
“You miss a lot when they are over there on weekends.” Ginny stated her eyes softening.
“He misses a lot when they are here all week, so it’s only fair.” Sabrina said defending Josh.
“Well, you still miss him as well; maybe you should go out more you know. Instead of sitting at home on weekends reading and cleaning the house.” Ginny wanted the best for her friend knowing exactly why Sabrina never let another man in.
“You’re making me sounds like a desperate house wife.” Trying not to notice how bitter that sounded.
“Sabrina maybe you should consider Frank’s ide...” Ginny’s words were cut off by the doors bill.
“It’s Josh, and don’t bring that up again, you know I well never do that to him.” Sabrina stated firmly.
Opening the door and Sabrina stared at Josh. He never stopped to amaze her even after everything they went through, he was the only man she wants. She opened the door silently allowing him in.
“Hey Ginny.” Josh smiled on seeing his Friend’s girlfriend.
“Hey Josh, I better get going, and merry Christmas both of you. And make sure Sabrina doesn’t forget to give the kids there gifts.” Ginny said gathering her things and moving to the door.
“Say hello to Tommy for me.” Josh shouted after Ginny.” what’s got into her?” he asked turning to look at Sabrina, suddenly wishing he didn’t, she looked so beautiful, well Roses do to and they’re filled with thorns to make people plead.
“I don’t know.” Sabrina answered slowly noticing the lipstick on his shirt for the first time. Its none of my business what he does with his time, she reminded herself, but it didn’t make the pain go away.
They stood there in silence that seemed to stretch out between them, tell the twins came running to the room, throwing them selves at there their Dad and telling him about what happened in school today. And after some time they moved the bags to the car since none of them had much bags it fit in the black BMW that Josh drive. Fifteen minutes and the kids stopped fighting and went to sleep.
“So...” Josh asked trying to say something to cut the tension between them.
“So…” Sabrina answered quietly trying hard not to punch him in the face, he did it on purpose, she thought, I know he did.
“How’s Frank?” Josh asked not liking it when Sabrina’s lit up at the name.
“He’s fine.” She answered, knowing why Josh is asking and not giving him the satisfaction.
“Are we going to spend the rest of this trip playing mind games?” he asked suddenly.
“Nop, I am going to read.” She picked her bag got the novel out of her bag and started reading, trying to stifle her giggles, she thought she heard him muttering under his breath. You deserve it, she thought happily.
