Chapter 4
Fear Itself
*Winter passes into winter, and life far removed from light remains buried under snow stained with crimson tears. Bleeding fingers claw at the earth searching for their lost soul.*
Then, as I had predicted, Daemon appeared…
“Ah! I see you didn’t get enough the last time I came for a visit…” He drawled.
“SCREW YOU!” I screamed at him and turned to walk away. But there was nowhere to go, I was dreaming. Perhaps “dreaming” is not the best term for what I was experiencing, but I don’t know what else to call it.
“Get BACK HERE BITCH!” As he said those words I was suddenly thrown back against him and he ground his hips into me, the evidence of his arousal clearly felt through my clothes.
“You like that, bitch?” He forced my head to nod yes. Once again he was controlling my every move…
“Well, you’ll have that soon enough… But first- Uhff!” His last words were cut off by my elbow in his gut. I wouldn’t let him have me again.
I ran as fast as I could, not caring that there was no place to go. I just wanted to get away from him. Looking back I saw nothing but a black haze. A stitch ran threw my side and I gasped for air, but I couldn’t stop running. That’s when I knew he still had me under his spell.
“STOP!” His wish was my command. I was frozen in place, I couldn’t even blink. Tears streamed down my face as my eyes began to sting and breathing became harder and harder.
He slowly walked towards me and forced me to my knees. My eyes would have widened, if they had been able to, as he unbuckled his belt, dropped his pants to the ground and forced open my mouth.
I couldn’t believe it was happening again and I closed my eyes trying to will this all to stop.
Wait. I could close my eyes? I blinked.
In his pleasure, the concentration he held on his spell had waned and I found myself under control of my entire face.
I bit down hard and tasted blood and salt on my tongue. He fell to the ground cursing loudly, leaving me free of his spell. I kicked him in the gut as he lay there and I ran as fast as I could.
I had to wake up!
There, in front of me, I saw a light shining brightly. I thought that if I could just make it to that light I could get of here. I could see my room at St. Maria\'s in that light. I was nearly there when I heard him start muttering a spell.
…
Green tinged the light in my room and I could here my brother yelling at me. I knew he wasn’t finished with me yet, that I had only made it worse for myself when he came again.
*Living a life that is no longer my own, a wash out of color traded for monotony. Light flashes before my eyes and the memories have no meaning to me. Keeper of time, taker of life, I curse thee*
The words echoed like thunder through my mind…
Words written so long ago…
I needed to get out of this place, to go somewhere my brother couldn’t find me…
I sat up and scooted off the bed, ready to run from this hell hole. The door was unlocked so I just ran down the hall, tears blinding me. But I didn’t care. I didn’t care about anything anymore except getting away.
I made it down the stairs and through the front doors. But they opened to nothing…
