Chapter 3: The Way of Love

Thanks for that review! I actually made those chapters a little shorter for the bigger/longer ones comin up, so enjoy Chapter 3 and when I get a little more reviews (or hits) I\'ll post Chapter 4. There will be some oral sex scenes coming up then later the sex scene. Not NC-17, but romantic, as sex should be : D

\"To your disappointment, I assume.\" She said, not making an attempt to be polite.

\"Not at all. In fact, I\'ve been waiting for you to awaken. I must find out more about you. For instance, how old are you, luv?\"

She detected the slight accent in his voice and smiled a little.

\"Fourteen\", she said.

\"Fourteen, my my, only a child, you are. Very full figured for your age\".

\"I assume that\'s a good thing\"?, she asked, unsure.

\"Very. You are perfect\".

\"For what\"?, she asked blindly.

\"I shall not beat around the bush, I suppose? Well, then. You must not know me well. I am Sir Vincent de Mure. You may call me Vincent. After all, I hope to be better aquainted with you, if not tonight, soon\".

\"Better aquainted\"?, she asked.

She wasn\'t sure of what he would do now or even in the future. If she\'d still be alive or not was another question. He swiftly walked closer to her, reaching down and taking her left hand into his own, bringing o hio his lips and gently kissing it. How soft, he thought, and noted the slender fingers, and long painted nails. Blood red with small ivy leaves on the tips. How creative she must be, he thought. He wanted to seduce her more than anything, and he wanted to do it now. But to scare her off would not be wise. He must maintain his desires and be patient. To frighten her off now would only fuel his burning needs and make it less impossible for her to concede with his plans. He had not raped a woman, much less a young teenager in many years since his change, and he hadn\'t planned to start that now. He looked up and found that she was smiling. He led her to a bedroom, at the top of the stairs, quite surprised that she hadn\'t refused and followed. Although, he thought, considering he was still holding her hand, she didn\'t have much choice. He set her down on dark red sheets in his own bedroom, carefully, almost as if one move would break her fragile body. She looked around and he lit a few candles. Deciding to stand, he looked her straight in the eyes. Her eyes were like pools of crystal water, dark emerald, a vision of beauty in their own. Smiling, as so not to scare her off, he leaned back in his chair and began to speak softly to her.

\"Now, you\'ve been brought here for a reason. You\'ve no memory of why though. Am I correct\"?

She nodded, getting a little more comfortable, feeling she might be able to trust him and this place. A place of safety. She had never had a real home and even when she had, she\'d run away. Being by her lonesome was the only thing she knew and intended to stay that way. She would not let her guard down for just anyone. She knew he saw this and recognized the look of longing in his eyes. She wasn\'t sure for what, but she had a pretty good idea. Or, so she thought.

\"I\'m not going to lie to you. I am a vampire. An older one at best. I brought you here to be with me. Not just for tonight, but for eternity. Let me turn you and we shall live together forever. Blinded by love and passion\".

She considered this and thought a minute before speaking.

\"How did you find me\"?

\"I was looking out of my window when I saw you. My dear, you are nothing, but a vision of beauty. As soon as a laid eyes on you, I knew you had to be mine. Surely you have no husband\"?

\"Yes. I am unwed\".

\"Very good. Will your family be worried? My concern isn\'t to scare them\".

\"I have no family. I am an orphan, a stray if you desire\".

\"My love, I desire you. Let me be your love, your family. I couldn\'t survive without you and I wouldn\'t want to even consider the thought. Say you\'ll stay and be mine. Forever\".

\"I want to say yes, Mr. de Mure, but---

\"Please, call me Vincent\".

\"Very well. I want to say yes, Vincent, but I\'m not sure of my own feelings. I have not even experienced a crush. How could I experience love this quickly? Surely you have to love someone to be with them\".

\"Luv, there is not anything in this world that could make me feel any doubts of my own feelings and I\'m hoping you feel the same. Please, I love you. Stay with me. Be mine. I will treat you well and not harm thee in any way, shape or form\".

She thinks a moment and considers the possibilities. She had no family and no friends. Would it matter? Would he truly love her even afterwards? She saw she had no other options to consider, much less thought of the consequence if she said no. She nodded to herself and looked into his eyes.

\"Vincent, I accept. I will live with you and we will be happy. Forever\".

\"Very wise. Not that I\'d have done anything to you if you\'d refused. Shall be begin\"?

\"Begin\"?
