Chapter 3

I‘m really freaking sorry that I haven‘t been updating the last few days. Family ‘problems,’ if you could call it that. Anyway, it‘s all over and done now, so I should be able to update one of my stories at least once a day. Hopefully.

dee yu- Kindle‘s name wasn‘t originally going to be that. Truthfully, I had no intention of changing it from what it was. I was trying to find something else for Torr, and I saw Kindle, and it was like, ‘that‘s perfect!,’ and I just had to have it.

Thanks for all the reviews I‘ve been getting, and I‘m going to try to update both this and Blue more frequently.

Kindle groaned as he fisted his dick in his hand, curling around himself on his side as he laid in his nest. He cracked open an eye, making sure Torr was really gone, before giving himself a small squeeze, before sliding his hand up his cock.

He started to pant as he became harder in his hands, thrusting his hips as he pumped himself, precome making it slick.

“Kindle?”

Fuck!

Kindle froze as he heard footsteps coming closer to his nest.

“Kindle.”

A shadow fell over the red dragon, and he opened his eye again to see Torr standing over him, his face shadowed by the light coming from behind him.

He closed his eyes. Shit, this wasn’t good. Torr was going to be pissed, that he was doing this in his cave, filling it with his scent.

Or so he thought, until he felt hands trailing along his skin, and he could feel heat above him.

Kindle started, moving to get up on his hands and knees to make a run for it, but Torr caught him by his hips, jerking him back, making him yelp.

“Get… get off!” Kindle yelled, bucking, but Torr didn’t let go, only thrusting against the younger dragon, rubbing himself along the red dragon’s crease.

“You’re mine, now.” Torr growled into his ear, his voice husky, making Kindle shiver with the lust lacing it.

Kindle struggled harder, doing anything he could to get Torr off of him, all to no avail, and even thought about changing into his dragon form, but doing so would cause his spikes to spear Torr. But if he didn’t do something… it would turn out badly. The dominance that Torr showed, the want, opposite of his usual lazy attitude, didn’t stop from turning Kindle on even more, and he couldn’t stop the moan that came down as Torr bit down on his shoulder, forcing him to freeze into place for fear of Torr moving to he back of his neck, a much more dangerous place for his teeth to be.

He could feel Torr positioning himself behind him, ready to enter, when he heard a noise near the entrance of the cave. He looked, seeing that there was someone standing there, someone that looked extremely familiar.

Another noise, and then Kindle jerked awake.

He looked around, breathing hard. There wasn’t anyone around, other than Torr, sleeping in his own nest, in his dragon form as he always did.

Kindle let out a sigh of relief, before looking down.

He… was going to have to take care of that. And before Torr woke up.

He made sure that the white dragon was actually asleep, before making his way slowly out of the cave, eyes sharp to catch anything different as paranoia got the better of him.

Less than a minute later, and Kindle was at the river. He walked into the water, until it went as high as his waist, before giving himself the release he needed, wiping all evidence of it away with the flow of the water.

He let the water flow past him for a few more moments, before finally getting out, not seeing the eyes following his movements as he walked back to the cave.

Torr was awake when Kindle got back, sitting in front of the cave, staring up at the sky. Kindle just gave him a look, before moving to his rock, laying out on it.

He thought about the dream that he had earlier. He really wasn’t surprised about it. An after effect of not mating during the mating season. Kindle still wasn’t sure how long it was going to last, if at all. He’d have thought that it would have gone away by now, the feelings, the lust, or even only dissipated a little, but no, they seemed to be getting stronger.

He’d never heard of a submissive not getting mated in their first season, but the elders usually had something to do with that. They took it upon themselves to pair potential mates up, for ones that didn’t already have a plan. Most of the time, the elders had it right, some pairings worked out perfectly. Other times… not so much.

Like with him. Yeah, at first it seemed like things where going to be perfect with the one he was paired with. He was actually looking forward to it, but too many doubts and fears, and he ended up panicking at the last minute, and that ruined everything for him.

Though, it did show the kind of person that Eton was, and maybe it had been for the best. Coming out here, in heat, with another breedable male, not exactly the youngest, but still…

…He really needed to stop thinking that way.

But that dream was going to haunt him for the rest of his unmated days, he knew it. That is, unless something better, more lust-inducing, came along.

It wasn’t just about the sex though. It was who it was with. That dream had been the first in a while that had featured someone else other than Eton, not that he hadn’t shown up in the end anyway, to ruin everything for him. Even after Kindle had met Torr, the dreams didn’t center around the white dragon.

Maybe this was a sign that Eton hadn’t been that important in the first place? That’d be a relief, definitely, especially since that meant Kindle would be able to get over everything that had happened. Now that he thought about it, he wasn’t sure if he was more pissed than anything.

But now he had to deal with lusting after Torr. He wasn’t quiet sure how much the white dragon would like to know about that.

And besides, Kindle had already made the decision that he was going to mate with anyone. No matter how obsessed with it that he’d become.

Though, if he could just touch…

No!

This was… going to end badly, he could just feel it.

Kindle stared as Torr sat in a field.

And sat.

And sat.

He laid down.

And stayed there.

Kindle exhaled a puff of warm air. He was so bored! If he’d been back at the clan, he’d be able to find at least one dragon that would want to mess around, maybe play tricks on an elder, but here, there was only Torr.

Who was laying in a field. And not moving.

Maybe he had died?

No, he flicked his tail.

Kindle snorted. It wasn’t like Torr was that old. He wasn’t even considered old enough to be an elder, and from what he’d seen, the white dragon was in perfect health. Perfect…

The red dragon groaned, before falling back on the ground, long grass cushioning his fall. He looked up at the sun. Dark clouds were coming in, it’d be raining soon. He figured he didn’t have to worry about it just yet.

Which meant there was still nothing to do.

Kindle sat up, looking over at Torr.

There may be some form of entertainment to get from there yet.

Or at least something to pass the time…

The red dragon stood up, making his decision of bothering Torr, and made his way over to him. He sat down, leaning against Torr’s slightly larger body, his smooth, hard scales radiating heat that Kindle would love to be able to cuddle into.

“What are you doing?” Kindle asked to distract himself from that particular thought. He didn’t quite get an answer, just as he expected. Torr only looked at him through one sleepy eye. “That’s nice.”

Torr closed his eye.

His tail flicked again.

“Must be nice being able to lay out here, without a worry in the world…” Kindle sighed, as if that was even remotely true. At least for him. It still hadn’t gotten completely through, the fact that he no longer had a clan. At least not one that he would readily accept and be a part of.

And it’s not like he would go out, searching for another. Very few dragons were eager to let other’s into their clan that had little to contribute other than breeding.

Well, now that Kindle thought about it, he had heard of clans wanting submissives for that purpose, to up their numbers. His own clan was one of them. Not that they actually needed it, but once every year, near mating season, they would get together with other clans, a last resort for those of age but didn’t have someone intended for themselves.

Though maybe he could find another that had nothing to do with his clan…

No, that probably wouldn’t be a good idea. It would mean being mated, and that was what he was trying to get away from.

Though, now he had to deal with being in heat.

While he mused, he almost didn’t notice Torr changing into his human form. The only reason he even did was because he was still leaning against the white dragon, and ended up falling back slightly, to land on a very human chest.

“Are you regretting coming here?” Torr asked before Kindle could say a word. The red dragon froze in his spot, making no attempt to move Kindle from against him.

“Not really,” Kindle shrugged, but it was only part truth. “Well, I guess a little. I just miss people, you know?”

Kindle could feel Torr nod.

“Yes, I do.”

Kindle turned slightly, to look back at him.

“What happened that you had to leave?” Kindle honestly wanted to know. It didn’t seem like anything bothered Torr, whether he took notice of it or not.

“Mating problems.” Torr answered shortly, but it wasn’t enough for Kindle. The red dragon was about to ask further questions, but stopped when Torr sighed. “You know of Elos?”

“Of course.” Kindle shivered slightly. It was Eton’s bearer, the one that gave birth to him. Kindle had only met him the few times, which was too many times by far.

Elos himself was born to the clan leader, and brought it upon himself to be in everyone else’s business. He might have been submissive, but no one questioned him when he ordered someone to do something.

Kindle felt a little sorry for his mate.

“What about him?” Kindle urged when it seemed Torr didn’t want to go on.

“Back when I was younger, when it was my first mating season, he had it in his head that I was going to mate with him. He made sure that the rest of the dragons backed off.”

Torr didn’t say anything, if he’d seen how Kindle’s face had screwed up in disgust at the thought of them two mating.

“What’d you do?” He couldn’t have gone through with it, could he?

“Got pissed. Told him that it wasn’t ever going to happen. Ended up all the way out here.”

“Oh.” Well, that was… close to being almost exciting as what Kindle had thought up of the dragon having left the clan.

“What about you?”

“Hm?” He’d broken Kindle out of his thoughts of what could have been.

“Why did you leave?”

Kindle groaned, he did not want to talk about this, but he supposed it was only fair.

“You know that Elos you were talking about?” He waited until Torr gave confirmation. “Well, he’s got a son now, Eton.”

“I feel sorry for Elos’ mate.”

Kindle snorted, before going on. “Well, me and Eton were going to be mated. I mean, it was our choice, and he’d even waited a year so that I would be of age.” He shifted uncomfortably, before going on “I was scared, and managed to hold it off until the third night of the season. And then I panicked even worse and ran off… And then I came here.”

They were both holding back information. Kindle could tell by the way Torr would tense as the white dragon told his story, especially at the end, and he was sure that Torr knew as well about his own story.

“Well, I, for one, am glad you did.” Torr replied easily, moving to stand up slowly so that Kindle didn’t fall.

“What, for panicking? Or ending up here?” Kindle stood up as well, looking up at the sky when he felt rain drops against his skin. Damn, he really needed to work on predicting the weather.

“Both, I suppose. You wouldn’t be here otherwise.” He started walking in the direction of the cave. “I won’t lie, it is nice to have someone to talk to every now and then. Or at least know that someone’s there, even if it is only for a while.”

“You think I’ll leave?”

“I really don’t know. It’s up to you. You might decide that you’d rather be back in your clan then with a boring old dragon.”

Kindle was about to protest, but Torr turned around, a smirk on his face.

“Your not all that bad, you know.”

And if he really wanted Kindle to stay, then there was something he could do about it. Like mating, for instance.

Not… that Kindle would want that.

Who was Kindle fooling?

Now that I got this, and I have a clear idea of where I’m heading with it, and how to get there, updates should be a lot more frequent. Every other day, at the very least, unless something comes up. I don’t have internet of my own, exactly.
