That's New
Ch.3: That’s New
Zeil knew that he was dreaming, and yet it seemed so real to him. He was in an odd place. It seemed like he was in a vast darkness with fog hovering lightly over the ground beneath him.
“Zeil.”
At his name, Zeil turned around only to find Derrick standing in front of him. His heart did a odd jump and his brown eyes widened, “What are you doing here?”
“I don’t know,” He said running a hand down Zeil’s cheek, “It’s your dream.”
Zeil’s dream Derrick had a point. Zeil grinned and wrapped his arms around Dream Derrick’s neck and pushed his body against him, “Then I can do what ever I want with you right?”
Dream Derrick grinned, “Dreams don’t always go as you would like them to, Zeil.” He wrapped his arms around Zeil’s waist and leaned forward to kiss his pale neck.
Zeil shivered at the contact, so far everything was going as planned. Derrick continued to kiss and nip at his neck, Zeil relaxing in his arms, as his hands roamed over his body. Suddenly Zeil found himself looking up at Derrick and he was laying on the ground. Dreams were weird that way.
Everything was very, very, pleasant at the moment. Derrick was kissing his neck and chest, his hands were touching him in places that made him shiver and moan. It was all so exciting. Then Derrick stopped and moved up to Zeil’s lips to kiss him. Zeil’s lips almost ached with want for the kiss, but then Derrick stopped and said, “I need you, Shane.”
Zeil’s heart stopped, “What did you say?” Suddenly his perfect dream began to spiral out and Derrick moved further and further away from him. Then Zeil woke up.
He stared up at the ceiling in his bed, his heart pounding in frustrated anger. What the hell was that about? Now he was having erotic dreams about Derrick? He sat up in his bed and rested his head in his hands. What was going on? There was a knock on the door, but Zeil didn’t answer.
“Zeil, are you alright?” Asked Shane.
Zeil frowned, “I’m fine.”
“No your not, if you were fine, your door would be unlocked.” Said Shane with frustration.
Zeil sighed and got up and out of his bed to unlock his door. Not soon after he did, did his brother enter and close it behind him. “What’s going on?” He asked, knowing his younger brother was upset.
Zeil tried to cover it up, “Its nothing really.” But when his brother continued to stare at him in disbelief he let out the truth, “Why were you and Derrick in the pool last night?”
Shane frowned, “You saw that?” At his brothers nod he sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, “It was nothing, okay? Pretend that it didn’t happen.”
“But it did happen!” Zeil said in frustration. “What is it that you can’t tell me? Does it have something to do with his secret?”
“How do you know about that?!” Snapped his brother in defensive anger.
Zeil’s eyes widened at the burst of emotion, “I-I heard you last night in the hallway…I don’t know what it is, I just know he has a secret.”
Shane grabbed his brother’s shoulders gently and looked him in the eyes, “Listen to me when I say this, there is nothing and I mean NOTHING going on between me and Derrick. Also, his secret is his and he will tell you when he is ready, so don’t go prying, are we clear?”
Zeil nodded.
Shane grinned, “Good, now come down stairs and eat breakfast.”
After getting dressed, Zeil headed down stairs with an upset stomach. How could he even look at Derrick after what he had dreamt and seen? But once he arrived in the dinning room downstairs he realized that Derrick was absent.
Zeil sat down and began to fill his plate with eggs and bacon. “Where is Derrick?”
Shane swallowed his mouth full of food before saying, “He went to work. He works mornings at my job. He will be back by the time I will have to leave.”
Zeil stared at his plate, his stomach not feeling any better. He was going to be home alone with Derrick? A small part of him liked the idea, but the other part of him, the one that was still cautious of the odd teen, didn’t like the idea at all.
Shane must have sensed his younger brother’s discomfort for he said, “Nothing is going to happen okay? So quit worrying about it.”
Zeil nodded and tried to eat his breakfast.

For a few hours, Zeil forgot about his worry and did his normal morning routine of doing chores and cleaning the house until lunch time. Even then, it was only when the front door opened and closed that his nervousness came hurtling back. He was going to be alone with Derrick.
Shane hugged his brother, “I’ll see you later tonight, alright? So behave,” His brother let go of him and turned to Derrick who just sat on the couch, “That goes for you as well, Derrick.”
Derrick kicked off his shoes and laid back on the couch, “I always behave.”
Shane laughed at his comment before leaving the house. Once the front door closed the house was enveloped in silence. Zeil stood near the couch just staring at Derrick who laid on it with his arm over his eyes. Zeil’s light brown eyes traveled to Derrick’s stomach as he breathed in and out. He looked at the teen’s lips that were full and partially open. He blushed, it was odd seeing him after his dream. It was almost as if it had happened in real life.
Zeil licked his tingling lips, he still yearned to kiss him. He jumped suddenly when Derrick spoke, “I know I’m hot, but you shouldn’t stare.”
Zeil laughed nervously, “I wasn’t…how do you know, your eyes aren’t even open!”
Derrick grinned, not once removing the arm that laid over his eyes, “You were staring so intently that it made my lips tingle.”
Zeil frowned. That was dangerously accurate. He could have said any other body part, but he said lips. He bit his lip before asking, “What’s your secret?”
Derrick frowned, “I knew you were up last night.” Zeil’s heart seemed to stop then Derrick continued, “ I stood by your door hoping you would open it or do something, but you didn’t.”
Zeil stared at Derrick with wide eyes. Shane didn’t know he was up last night so how did Derrick know? He frowned, “Why were you with Shane last night?”
“Because I couldn’t be with you.” At Zeil’s silence he continued, “I mean, look at you. You haven’t moved from that spot since Shane left. It’s like your scared of me, I cant exactly be intimate with someone who is scared to be in the same house with me.”
“I’m not scared of you.” Zeil said in a sad tone. “I’m nervous.”
“Either way.” He stated.
Zeil stared at Derrick as the silence began to engulf them again. Derrick hadn’t moved, he still laid on the couch with his arm over his eyes. He had no reason to be nervous around Derrick. Yes, he had a secret but he never did any harm to Zeil. In fact he always made him feel safe in an odd sort of way. He walked over to the couch and knelt down on the carpet before grabbing Derricks wrist to hold his arm in place over the teen’s eyes. Before Derrick could protest or ask a question, Zeil finally let his lips touch Derrick’s. It was something he had secretly been craving since he awoke from his strange dream that morning.
It was as if there was a sudden shock that shot through his body and immediately awoke every nerve ending, sending small sparks of pleasure to every part of his body. Zeil moaned as Derrick moved his lips against his, urging him to open up to him. He did so shyly and allowed the older teen to roll his tongue against his. He tasted just how he remembered. It was his own essence yet it was addicting in an unusual way.
Derrick moved his arm and sat up, not once breaking away from the lips that were on his. Zeil tried to move closer to Derrick but the couch was in the way. Zeil broke away from the kiss to take in a breath of air, and shivered as Derrick continued to kiss from his cheek down to his neck before lightly nipping him there.
Without thinking, Zeil said, “This is like my dream…”
Derrick wrapped his arms around Zeil’s shoulders and whispered in his ear, “I know. I was there.”
