Chapter 2

~.~.~.~

I seriously apologize to the people that tried to read my story before I edited in the breaks in the paragraphs.  I hadn’t realized how hard it was to read.  Again I’m Sorry!!!!  Thank You ALL for reading!!  On with the story!!

~.~.~.~

On the Surface…

“We’re out in the middle of the fucking ocean!!  There is nothing out here!!  We are wasting our time; there is NO city out here,” one of the men on the ship yelled.

The crew on the ship were hired to search the ocean in this area looking for a city that had residents that resembled the descriptions of what would appear to be the Waterpeople that were in some old documents that their employer had found and bought.

Their employer, being so into the strange old tales of the Waterpeople, wanted to find this city.

It was said that the Waterpeople had strange powers that none of the sorcerers and sorceresses of the world couldn’t even dream to possess.  Powers to bend another person’s will to their own.  Powers of immortality and even the power to heal even the most deadly of wounds and sicknesses.

Their employer wanted to have all of that power.

He had hired this crew to find and locate this city in order to capture one of these strange creatures that seem only to be alive in legends.  So far they had yet to find even a trace of this city or these so called Waterpeople.  They had been searching for weeks now with no luck.

“They’re out there.  You just have to know where to look,” said the man that their employer had said would ensure they would find the city.  This man had pale blonde hair, almost white in its paleness, and was of average build.  What made the crew not trust him were his eyes.  His eyes were not human.  They were of the palest yellow.

This man was currently looking at the radar, waiting for something to show up.  Even the slightest abnormality was to be thoroughly searched and examined before being dismissed.  So far there had been nothing on the radar that was no more than schools of fish, and the occasional shark.

Suddenly, a flash of color appeared on the screen.

*********

Aled had finally found a quiet, secluded area outside of the village that was the perfect place to hide out until the evening meal.

Yeah, he was probably going to get into a whole bunch of trouble, but he just had to get away.

I know, it’s short, but I’m trying.  Sorry for not updating sooner, I’m not very good with words.

Hey, I need help writing this story, if anyone is interested let me know.  I have the whole thing planned out I'm just having trouble putting it into words.
