Raven's Shadow

Its been four months since Ace last seen Jezebel and hes worried that he might not see her again "i say good riddence she was nothing but trouble....vampires and werewolfs do not mix Ace." Alessa said one morning "you barely knew her, i was in love, oh well i'm going to Vita so dont wait up." Ace said as he stormed off. That same night Jezebel walked through the doors of Vita "i've been trying to get with him but he simply wont do it." Tina said trailing behind Jezebel who wasnt listening then sat down at the wooden barstool "hey Jez, wow you look huge!" Jezebel's eyes went wide "I do not! shut up Kyle!" she turned around and her eyes went wider
"oh no whats he doing here." she asked herself and turned back around quickly trying to hide herself "Ace!" Tina shouted and rushed over to him "yes Tina?" he asked as he sat down at the bar then turned his attention to the strange woman sitting at the end. Ace stared at her "do you want to dance?" he remember asking "yes I do." he remember her saying when he asked her to dance that wonderful night, Ace silently moved behind her taking her by surprised then moved infront of her. He stared into her red eyes "hello Ace." Jezebel smiled as he stared at her, Jezebel removed the hood of her silk shaw revealing her black silky hair now with alittle white in her bangs "is it really you Jezebel?" she nodded getting up and walking out the door "I would go after her, you dont meet a girl like that everyday." Kyle stated cleaning a glass as Ace ran after Jezebel.
Ace caught up to her and stopped her, Jezebel slowly turned around and Ace looked down "Jezebel are you...pregnant?" Jezebel laughed loudly "oh no I'm just fat theres no need to worry yourself." Ace grabbed her hands and walked closer to her "Is it mine?" he whispered as he stared down at her, she began to cry then nodded "I didnt want to tell you because I thought it would make you leave me so i did the easiest way possible...I left." Ace closed his eyes and clutched her hands tightly "you killed me four months ago...I loved you Jezebel." he paused for a moment "do you still Ace?" Jezebel asked as he smiled at her "yes i do Jezebel." she let out a long sigh and smiled at him "I love you Ace, so much...please forgive me." She began to cry harder as he made her look at him then kissed her lips softly,
sliping his tongue in playing with hers, she put her arms around his neck. Tina dropped her bag when she saw them kissing and Ace turned around "you...your a slut Jezebel!" she said with anger "you knew I liked him and yet you took him!" she added as she ran off "god i only had sex with her once." Ace said not thinking as Jezebel stared at him "you had sex with her?" she asked as she hit him then walked off "honestly Jez I was drunk and she took advantage of it...it happened three months ago and hasnt since." he said as he stopped her "your just like Steven!" she shook her head at him then walked off again "Jez." he shouted "leave me alone." she shouted back then dissapeared into the darkness.
Ace knocked on the castle door the next night and Katrina opened it "well Ace...we havent seen you in a while." she smiled at him "is Jezebel here?" he asked concerned "why yes the doctor and Lord SIlver is with her right now...you know with the baby....anyways you know where her room is go on." Ace nodded then slowly walked up the old steps that creaked with every step and outside her room out came the doctor who bumbed into Ace "oh excuse me." he tilted his hat to him then walked down the steps. A few minutes later and Charles walked out and stared at Ace "hello Ace shes in there go on." Ace took a deep breath and walked in the room. He found Jezebel laying on the bed with her back to him crying, "Jez?" he asked as she swiftly turned around and sat up wiping her eyes
"what can i do for you Ace?" he slowly walked closer to her "tomorrow is the full moon...I need a place to stay til its over...please." Jezebel stared at him for a moment then sighed "alright." she agreed then got up and went to her oak dresser "oh and theres one more thing." he added as she turned to look at him, he grabbed her wrists and pulled her to him "I love you Jezebel, please be with me." he said softly "werewolfs and vampires dont mix Ace you know that." she looked away "but they do...tell me you love me." Jezebel looked up at him and shook her head "I dont love you...I cant love you....my father told me i couldnt." she whispered softly "I know you do...because if you didnt you wouldnt keep this baby." Ace caressed Jezebel's chin "I want you to be mine forever...baby please...I need you." before Jezebel could speak a strange man walked in "oh...am I inturrupting something?" Jezebel smiled as she walked over to him "Ace this is Lonnie my boyfriend, Lonnie this is my friend Ace." Ace stared at Lonnie then shook his hand.
As Lonnie left the room Ace walked over to Jezebel and laughed "he has no idea what you are....and the love you have for me does he?" Jezebel looked at Ace and hissed violently "you think you will win me back by saying things like that? Ace you are very dumb because me and you are over!" Ace growled as his eyes started turning bright yellow "I know what made you fall for me. For the record darling you cant resist my wolf like qualities." Ace grabbed Jezebel by the neck as she was gasping for air Lonnie walked back in "what are you doing get off her!" Ace growled at Lonnie as he and Jezebel watched anger take over Ace, Jezebel began to cry and her tears fell on Ace's hand and he remembered when she left he felt those same tears and then he released her.
Jezebel took a few minutes to recover then walked over to Ace who was crouched over by the wall, then she looked at Lonnie "give us a few minutes, i'll be fine." Lonnie nodded then left. Jezebel kneeled down and put her hands on Ace's shoulders "i want to see your yellow eyes again." she smiled as his eyes started changing from black to yellow, Jezebel fell in love once more and put her hands on his face and leaned in and kissed him softly "I want you Ace, you are my everything, be with me." she said as he stared at her "you say that after i try to kill you?!" "the way anger took over you i could see you were serious and so am i, I love you Ace."
Jezebel got Ace on his feet and he looked twords the door "what about your boyfriend?" she laughed softly "oh hes not my boyfriend, hes a servent whos older than me, i needed someone to pretend with, so I will never leave you, your mine forever now." Jezebel laughed wickedly "so why were you crying?" Ace asked as he and Jezebel sat on her bed "if the baby is born a halfbreed it could grow up to get very ill" Jezebel began to cry again as he carressed her face, he looked at Jezebel with soft eyes and then kissed her lips gently setting his hand on her stomach. A few minutes later Charles knocked on Jezebel's door and she answered it "yes father?" Charles sighed as he took her hand "i want to show you something come with me."
Charles led Jezebel to his study and she sat down as her father stared at the books "Katherine....shes here." Jezebel looked confused as she saw the spirit of her mother after so many centuries "hello Jezebel my darling its been so long." Katherine smiled as Jezebel stared blankly at the spirit "mother...is that you?" as Katherine nodded Jezebel was overjoyed "I see your already starting a family with that werewolf am i correct?" Jezebel rolled her eyes at her mother "it was a surprise, father said i could keep it even if its father is a werewolf." Jezebel said softly as she smiled at her mother "oh mother i do believe i'm in love....i've never felt this way other than Steven and we all know how that went." Jezebel sighed as she thought about her werewolf in her bedroom and smiled "am i done here?" she asked as both of her parents nodded.
Minutes later Jezebel was in her bedroom but was startled when Ace wasnt in the room "Ace?! where are you?!" she shouted as panic rushed over her, after she sat on the bed and began to cry Ace walked in the door with a glass of water and he looked at Jezebel confused "are you ok? why are you crying?" he asked as he kneeled down infront of her placing his glass on the floor and grabbed her hands in his. Jezebel looked up and smiled as tears ran down her cheeks, Ace stared at her for a few minutes before she spoke "I thought you were gone so i paniced." she said as she put her hand on his face and carressed it then smiled. Ace raised an eyebrow and smiled at her "if i would leave you would know where i am at all times and you also know where to find me." he explained as Jezebel walked over to the window and stared at the sky
"dont you have work today Ace?" she asked as she watched the sun come up, Ace walked behind her and took her into his arms as he laid his head on hers "yes i do and dont worry i'll be back before you awaken." he sighed as Jezebel turned around and laid her head on his chest. Ace looked out the window then looked at her "i have to leave now but i'll be back." he made her look at him and kissed her gently placing one of his hands on the small of her back and the other on the back of her neck, Jezebel made a hissing sound of pleasure when he moved his hand slowly down her back, Ace suddently stopped then looked at her and left the room.
It was another long boring day for Ace at the stables, he was late for the job and Frances yelled at him. It was nearly dust when Ace walked in the basement to where Jezebel's coffin laid "miss me?" he asked laughing as the coffin opened and out came Steven, while laughing wickedly he threw Ace against the wall with his power. Ace staggered to his feet but was knocked back down, he groaned as he laid on the floor "wheres Jezebel?!" he asked as the moon started apearing and transformed him in his wolf form.
While Ace was growling Jezebel walked downstairs slowly when she heard banging "dont Steven!" she shouted as Steven stared at her and threw Ace back on the wall with force, he kept Ace there. Steven walked over to Jezebel and grabbed her by the neck, "let her go!" Ace shouted as Charles walked down the stairs and threw Steven on the wall. Charles tended to his daughter before turning back to Steven "you may be strong but i am still stronger Steven and you are no match for me, leave my family and her friends alone or i will kill you the next time i see you." Charles snarled as Steven dissapeared and dropped Ace onto the ground hard.
Jezebel ran over to Ace and turned him over on his back, she put her hands on his shoulders and tried to sit him up "are you ok?" she asked concerned when Ace nodded she was relieved. Ace tried to stand up straight when pain struck him and he yelled out "whats wrong Ace?!" Jezebel asked panicing when she saw the blood on his side her heart was melting "your hurt!" Ace sighed as he pushed her away "i'm fine." he stated as she stared at him wide eyed. Ace looked at Jezebel with soft eyes, as she looked away from him he walked closer and laid his forehead on her shoulder and carressed her sides "I'm sorry i didnt mean to push you." he whispered
Jezebel smiled "lets get you fixed up shall we?" Ace looked at her then nodded. Ace entered the room and took his shirt off slowly as Jezebel grabbed the first aid kit outside in the hall on the end table by her door, then walked in and shut the door. Jezebel kneeled down by the end of the bed where Ace was sitting and pulled out some thread and a needle, "i hate needles." Ace said as she stared at him "then stop getting hurt then you wont have a needle go through you now hold still." Ace stared back at her as he felt the wound closing up "oh so now this is my fault?" he asked as she slowly looked up "I never said that....its..." "Its your damn ex's fault, i didnt even do anything to him." he stated before Jezebel ripped out the leftover thread and sighed "it comes with the territory, he thinks he still owns me and i dont." Ace looked away then back at Jezebel "well maybe i dont want that." he said as he got up and grabbed his shirt then walked out slamming the door.
Its been two weeks since Jezebel last saw Ace as she waited for him to come back she became more concern for his wellbeing. As night rolled around Ace was fooling around with Chelsea, he forgotton what day it was as he started rubbing her leg the moon showed and he scratched her, as she screamed he backed off wide eyed, then she bolted from the room into the bathroom. Jezebel appeared on the dresser laughing "what are you doing here? I thought i told you i didnt want baggage." he said pulling the red covers off him and walked past her, Jezebel grabbed his arm and made him look at her as Ace looked into her red eyes he grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to him.
Jezebel wrapped her pale arms around his waist and looked up at him "i'm sorry i dont think your baggage." Ace smiled down at her as he lightly kissed her, feeling how cold her lips were licking her bottom lip and lightly bitting it as the door slowly opened and Jezebel dissapeared as Chelsea walked in. She looked at Ace and sighed "you really hurt me Ace." she said as Ace shrugged "I dont think we should see eachother anymore goodbye Chelsea." Ace smiled as she left and Jezebel reappeared. Jezebel sat on the dresser clasping her hands together and twiddling her thumbs, Ace walked over and grabbed her hands to get her to stop she looked at him and smiled "will you love me forever?" she asked not taking her eyes off his "forever and ever baby." he grinned as he carressed her face.
