Mimi
Welcome to part 3!

Daisy felt sick. She was no longer drugged, but felt so weak. So weak she could hardly move.
When she had woken up, or at least come to her senses, for she couldn’t be sure she had slept, it had felt as if she had been sleeping for years.
Lying in her straw, only just noticing the blood staining it, she heard the door rattle, then swing open heavily.
She was afraid. She didn’t want that man to come back.
‘…Daisy?’ A voice said timidly, and a young girl came into Daisy’s fuzzy vision. Daisy opened her mouth to speak, but it was so dry she could only croak hoarsely.
The girl seemed to understand, pouring water into a small wooden cup from a metal pitcher she carried. Kneeling beside Daisy, she lifted the girl’s thumping head into her lap and gently tilted the cup into her mouth. Daisy gulped desperately, spluttering and choking after a few hasty draughts.
‘You- You need to drink it slowly…’ The girl said meekly. After she had finished the water, Daisy smiled faintly,
‘Thank you…’ she murmured.
The newcomer also smiled, brushing a wisp of soft pink hair behind her ear.
‘What’s… your name…?’ Daisy asked.
‘Oh… uhm, it’s Mimi.’ The girl replied, blushing, ‘how… uhm, I mean.. are you feeling okay?’
Daisy laughed weakly,
‘I’m… doing great..’ she said with effort. Mimi smiled too.
‘What happened?’ Daisy questioned, gesturing at the blood in the straw. Mimi’s face reddened.
‘Ah… uhm, you see… I- I- well…’ She stuttered, then steeling herself, she told Daisy the truth;
‘Sir Kyle had… Uhm, well he did… Ah… Uhm… he had sex with you!’ She spat the last part out as if the words tasted foul.
Daisy blinked, realising for the first time that she was naked, and that blood had dried on the insides on her thighs.
Then, she started to cry. She turned her head, burying her face in Mimi’s skirt, pulling her knees up to her exposed chest and hugging them.
Mimi put her arms awkwardly around the sobbing girl, and began to cry too. She pressed her face to Daisy’s head, tears trickling down her cheeks and into Daisy’s hair.
Daisy’s shoulders shook as she cried, thinking of Mia and Kris, whom she thought she may never see again, and of herself and the awful situation she was in. Then, as is the way with sadness, making you remember other sad events to add to your current unhappiness, she cried for her parents, who had died many years before, her father in some war and her mother giving birth to Mia, all alone. She thought about how unfair it was, for a fifteen year old girl to have to raise her baby sister and look after her ten year old brother.
While Mimi cried for the wretched girl in her lap, trapped and abused. And also for her family, herself and her brother, servants to the violent and vicious Sir Kyle, sold by the parents she thought loved her.
Both girls stayed like that for a while, tears streaming down their faces and sadness overwhelming their hearts.
As they felt the flood of tears begin to desist, the door creaked open once again, and a boy walked in.
‘You don’t have time to sit there crying!’ He said, rushing over to the girls and grabbing Mimi’s arm, ‘Kyle’s back, and he’s brought company. You’re needed in the kitchens, and if you’re not there, Cook will tell him, and you’ll be beaten. Please Mimi, hurry! I’ll take care of Daisy.’
Mimi looked shocked, but rubbed hurriedly at her eyes and laid Daisy’s head carefully on the straw.
‘We’re… we’re going to do our best to help you… Daisy.’ Mimi said, choking back sobs, before grabbing the pitcher and cup, and racing from the room.
‘Kyle will probably want to come check on you soon, so I have to go. I’m Kay, by the way, Mimi’s brother.’ He gave the distressed girl a grin and placed a hand kindly on her damp cheek. Daisy placed her own hand over Kay’s and pressed it to herself.
‘Thank you.’ She said softly. He nodded, then turned and left the room, careful to lock it behind him, leaving Daisy alone, curled helplessly in the dirty straw.
‘Kay!’ A sharp voice said from outside the door, ‘have you cleaned her out?’ Daisy recognised the voice as Sir Kyle’s, then heard Kay’s, sounding nervous.
‘No Sir, I was just about to-’ But he was interrupted by a harsh slap from Kyle.
‘It’ll have to wait until I’ve spoken to her now! But I want fresh straw in there, and you must empty the bucket, understand, you stupid boy?!’ Kay nodded and turned to walk away, but not before Kyle kicked him painfully in the rear. Kay yelped, and Kyle laughed, turning the key of Daisy’s door.
‘Ah, my dirty little thief.’ He said mockingly, walking over to the pile of straw in the corner, ‘Good thing you’ll be cleaned out soon, as it seems you couldn’t manage to walk over to your bucket, so you chose instead to soil the straw I so kindly provided you with.’ He went down on his haunches to look Daisy in the eye. ‘I must teach you not to be so dirty.’ He said coldly, before slapping her bare backside heavily.
Daisy shrieked at the stinging blow, cowering further into the straw. Kyle raised his hand, but before he could administer another strike, a voice echoed from somewhere in the castle,
‘Kyle? Come on old fellow, the meal’s served!’ Kyle grunted,
‘Looks like you got lucky, thief.’ He said, before standing up and exiting the room.
Daisy rubbed the red hand print gingerly, fresh tears springing to her eyes and soon rolling into the dirty straw.

I guess it was kinda angsty, huh? I feel pretty bad for Daisy... But join me next time too!
