Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Matt slowly awoke, feeling warm and contented. He shifted, snuggling more into the warm bed, but something wasn’t right. The sheets felt different, and so did the bed as a whole. Slowly the pieces of what happened before he went to sleep started coming together, making him groan inwardly. Why had he let Tobias go that far, he even encouraged him after a certain point! Speaking of Tobias, didn’t he fall asleep on him? Because he definitely wasn’t there anymore. Matt blinked blearily and could her two voices coming from where he thought was the door. He rolled over onto his back and suddenly had Tobias, leaning over the bed looking down at him.

“You wouldn’t by any chance be a Matthew Whishing, would you?” Tobias asked. Matt blinked, his brain still booting up, and not understanding the question what so ever.

“Wha…?”

“Matthew Whishing, is that your full name? There’s somewhere here looking for one.” Tobias nodded over to the door that was still open, where a tall, dark haired man stood. Matt squinted slightly, before widening his eyes as understanding hit him, “Trent?”

Even though the light in the hallway kept his face hidden in shadows, Matt could tell it was him. “Hey Matt, we’ve been looking for you. We need to head out, our time’s almost up.” Matt gave him an odd look, Trent sounded… tense, or upset about something. Matt flushed deeply, he knew what this would like to Trent, finding him with another man in one of the rooms, and it made it even worse that its exactly what it looks like.

“Uh… yeah, I’ll be out in a bit, could you give us minute?” Matt asked. Trent stood there a brief moment before nodding and leaving the room, shutting the door behind him. Matt let out a small sigh, knowing that he’s going to have some explaining to his friends once they get out of here.

“Gah!” Matt winced as the room was suddenly filled with light. He looked around and saw Tobias by the light switch, and caught the towel he threw his way. “You seemed a little uncomfortable with the other towels, so these might better.” Tobias said, wrapping his own towel around his waist. Matt looked down at the large, dark purple towel, got out of the bed and undid his red towel, which was messed up from sleeping in it, before wrapping the new towel around his waist.

Once done, he glanced up to see Tobias watching him, a sly grin on his face. Matt could feel the blush form on his face and, feeling embarrassed, turned away, “Umm, I should probably get going.” He muttered, walking towards the door.

As he brushed past the other man Tobias grabbed his wrist and pulled him back slightly, “Wait.” Matt turned to look at him, “Wha-” he gets cut off as Tobias leans down captures his mouth in a kiss. Without even realizing it, he began relaxing into it, feeling himself get pulled closer as a arm wrapped around his waist and a hand came up, cupping the back of his head, deepening the kiss. As quick as it started, it stopped as Tobias pulled back, he grinned down at Matt, “Now we can go.” He said simply, before going to the door and opening it.

Matt stood there still slightly dazed from the kiss, “You coming?” he heard behind him. He blushed once again, realizing he had just been standing there completely out of it. Matt mumbled an affirmative before leaving the room; not looking up at Tobias who was holding the door open for him, because he knew the man still had that grin on his face.

When they got out to the hall Matt saw Trent standing there waiting for them, he gave Matt a strange look before turning and walking down the hall, back towards where they first came in. Matt followed silently, not being able to shake the feeling of a kid in trouble with the teacher. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Tobias come up beside him, flashing him the grin once again. Pretending to ignore him, Matt continued to follow Trent through the spa. He yelped suddenly when he felt something pinch his behind, earning him another odd look from Trent, who then glared at Tobias before grabbing Matt’s arm and pulling him so Matt was now walking side by side with Trent instead. Matt looked up at Trent, but his gaze was focused ahead of them, he then glanced back at Tobias who still had that sly grin on his face. He glared at him as well before looking forward again, glad that the door to the locker room was just ahead.

Trent walked over to where his and Matt’s lockers were located, unlocking Matt’s before unlocking his own. “I thought you didn’t know the combination.” Matt asked, now glaring at Trent’s back.

“I didn’t, I made Ayden tell me before I came looking for you.” Trent replied, not turning around as he got his own clothes out of the locker. “Now get changed, everyone’s waiting for us in the lobby.”

Matt scoffed slightly before getting out his own clothes. He turned away from Trent and Tobias a bit, to give him at least the illusion of privacy before beginning to get changed. After sliding on his t-shirt Matt turned around, to find a pair of blue eyes watching him still from across the locker room. He could feel the blush on his cheeks yet again, before grabbing his jacket and putting it on, ducking his head slightly to hide the blush. He glanced over at Trent, who was now putting his sports coat on, and began feeling like a kid once again. While Matt’s outfit consisted of a black, zip-up hoodie with a random band’s name across the back, a light pink t-shirt sporting the words ‘Meat is Murder. Tasty, tasty murder.’ in red, and worn out blue jeans, the other two’s outfits were slightly more impressive. With Trent now dressed in blue jeans, a fitted green t-shirt, and black sports coat, and Tobias had also finished changing, looking as if he had just walked out of a business meeting, wearing an impressive dark blue suit that oddly complimented his all-over the place white hair.

Turning without a word, Trent left the locker room, though this time to a door in the corner that Matt hadn’t noticed before marked ‘Exit’, Matt follow once again, now starting to feel rather confused. He could understand why Trent would be a little strange around him, finding him with another guy in the room like he did, but Matt didn’t expect this all out hostility towards him. When they enter the lobby Matt instantly located the rest of their gang, all close to the door, waiting for them so they could get going, and every one of them giving Matt the odd look that Trent has been. ‘What’s going on with everyone?’ he wondered to himself. He started to walk over but Trent stopped him, “You need to sign out first before we can leave.”

“O-oh, right.” Matt waited for Trent to finish signing out at the small desk situated next to the door they had just walked out of. When Trent was done and walked away, Matt began signing out as well, feeling Tobias’ eyes on him again, since he had followed them out into the lobby as well. “You know, you’re kind of making me feel a little uncomfortable.” He said once Trent was far away to not hear them.

“I apologize for that, it’s just a hard to always want to watch you, and you’re just too appealing to ignore.” Matt could literally hear the sly grin in the other’s voice. He scoffed but blushing slightly in spite of himself, “It’s a little late to be hitting on me.” Finished with signing out Matt turned and walked over to where his friends were standing.

“Well, now that the gang’s all here, let’s get going, shall we?” Mallory asked brightly, clapping his hands together, though he still had that uneasy look about him. Everyone nodded and walked towards the door, discussing who was going to ride with whom, since only Trent and Ayden had drove, the rest had either rode the bus or taken the subway, neither of which where really all that much of an option with how late it had gotten. Speaking of which, Matt wondered how late it was exactly, it seemed pretty late, somewhere midnight at least, but he didn’t want to ask right now, not with the tension that still seemed to surround his friend’s.

When everyone headed toward the door, Matt hung back a little, still having the distinct feeling of a kid in trouble with the teacher, but was stopped with a hand on grabbing his wrist, “Wait a second, Matthew.” He turned to look up at Tobias, who gave him a chaste kiss and smiled down at him. “Were you truly going to leave without a goodbye?”

“Oh, uh…” Matt stammered out, but Tobias just grinned before bringing the hand still caught in his grip up and once again kissed the back of this hand, “Goodbye, Matthew Whishing, perhaps we’ll meet again sometime…” He said with that sly grin retuning again, before letting go and walking away.

“U-uh, g-goodbye Tobias-”

“Oshiro.”

“What?”

Tobias stopped and looked back at him, “My name is Tobias Oshiro.” He turned down the street before the darkness swallowed him.

“Matt, hurry it up or we’re leavin’ you behind!” Brice called behind him, from where the cars were parked farther down the street. Matt turned and jogged back to the cars, feeling self conscious as everyone watched him approach. “Saying goodbye to your new boyfriend?” Brice asked with a smirk, leaning on the side Trent’s car. Matt opened his mouth to retort but was cut off by Trent, “Let’s get going, it’s late and I want to get home.”

Everyone exchanged glances at Trent’s sharp tone but then quietly began separating into the two cars, with Mallory and Ayden in one car and Matt, Brice, and Trent in the other. Matt approached the back of Trent’s car, wanting to sit in the back seat but Brice had already took the closest seat and shut the door before Matt could get in. “Just get in the front, Matt.” Trent said as he circled to other side and got into the car as well. Matt sighed before complying, glancing at Trent as he took the passenger seat, but the other’s gaze was firmly focused on the road as he pulled into the empty street and started on the way home.

The car ride was a tense silence, Trent staring rigidly forward, Matt sitting staring out window, and Brice quietly sitting in the back seat. Matt glanced over at the digital clock and could feel his jaw drop, “I-is that clock off?” he asked, not believing the clock. “Yes, of course it is, why?” Trent replied, still not looking over. “I just didn’t think it was already that late…” Matt muttered, glancing at the clock that was still glowing the shocking time of 2:21. He shook his head, and quickly doing the math realized that they were in the spa for almost eight hours. “W-we were really in there for that long?”

“Yep, we wanted to give you the full spa experience, so we got the longest time available.” Matt could almost hear the smirk in Brice’s voice, “Though you spending the whole time in the rooms wasn’t exactly what we had planned.” Matt looked back out of the window as he felt the blush once again form on his cheeks, as the memories of what exactly what he was doing in said rooms. Though by the sound of it, he had actually spent more time sleeping then anything else. Matt shook his head slightly, he had spent at least an hour in the hot tub with the others, but he wasn’t sure how long he was before Tobias had came in, nor how long after he had slept on the other man. And that still confused the hell out of him, why had gone so far with Tobias so fast? He was known by his past lovers for not going all the way into many months into their relationship, but this man whose name he didn’t even know until afterwards he had almost no problem with.

Almost too soon they were pulling up in front of Brice’s apartment complex, “Well, this certainly was an fun and awkward ride home.” Brice said, climbing out of the car. After closing the back door he bent over to look into the front seat. “See you guys later. Matt, hope to see you alive again, Trent, don’t hurt him too bad.” He said with a wink before standing up straight and walking into his apartment complex. Matt blinked; surely Trent wasn’t that upset with what had happened that night? Like he had anything to be mad about? Yeah, it was pretty obvious what had happened when Trent had found them in the room, but it wasn’t Matt’s idea to even go to the spa in the first place, and why should Trent be mad about what he was doing anyways?

Matt was fully lost in his thoughts when Trent suddenly spoke up, “Mallory saw you.”

“W-what?”
“Mallory. Saw. You.” He stated again, putting extra emphasis on each word.

It took a few seconds for the full impact of the words to hit Matt. “W-what!?”

“So, guy just walks in and you have sex with him, huh? Is there a reason behind it or is it more all rational thought left you as soon as you walked into that room?” Trent asked, his voice was a deadly calm, only his grip on the steering wheel and the tension in his face giving his true anger away.

“N-no, t-that wasn’t…” Matt stuttered, before taking a deep breathe and felt his own anger rise at Trent’s remarks, “What about you? You were there for just as long as I was, and I’m sure you didn’t just sit there off by yourself the whole time.”

“I didn’t have sex with anybody, unlike you who talked to that guy for what was it, five minutes? Did you even know his name before you two went at it like animals or was that not really all that important?” Trent’s asked, now positively shaking with anger.

Matt was about to say something until Trent’s last remark, which caused him to snap his mouth back close and look back out window.

“That’s what I thought.” Trent paused, silently seething before continuing on in a deadly soft voice, “You know what I really don’t get, out of all of us, you’re the last one I’d ever expect to do something like this. It just doesn’t make any sense.”

“If you’re so concerned about me keeping my ‘modesty’ then perhaps you shouldn’t of taken me to that ‘spa’ to begin with!” Matt almost yelled, once again turned to glare at Trent, “You KNEW that I don’t like places like that, but seemed to have no problems with tricking me to go there. All the others I can kind of forgive, because they don’t know just how much I don’t like places like that, but you? I really expected you to know me better than that.” Matt finished quietly, looking down at his hands.

“Yeah, I guess I could the same thing, really thought I knew you better than this.” Trent muttered, before suddenly stopping the car.

Matt glanced over to see they were outside of his apartment building. He didn’t waste a second getting out of the car, slamming the door shut and heading up towards the building. Matt could hear the tires squeal out as Trent sped off once he had reached the front door. He sighed silently before digging out his keys, unlocked the door and headed up to his own apartment.

A searing kiss captured his lips as hands roamed freely over Matt’s body, seemingly knowing exactly where to caress to bring out the most pleasure from the small brunette. A tongue passed over his lips, silently asking permission that Matt immediately granted, meeting the tongue with his own and angling his head to deepen the kiss. A hand passed over his erection, evoking a gasp from Matt and breaking the heated kiss. His eyes opened to look into those hauntingly blues that were now overly bright with lust with a smile accompanying it that made Matt begin to feel like prey. The other man leaned down once more, capturing Matt’s mouth again quickly before kissing a trail along his jaw line and then to his neck.

“Ah, Tobias…” Matt moaned as a hand once more returned to his throbbing erection, stoking it softly, just enough to tease the smaller man and eliciting more soft moans. “Hm, please… more…” He could hear Tobias chuckle darkly against his neck and removed his teasing hand, causing Matt to whine slightly at the loss. Instead Matt felt Tobias move and situate himself between the brunette’s legs, before sliding his hands up Matt’s thighs, before pulling the smaller man’s legs around his waist, bringing their groins together. Matt gasped at the sudden contact and began shamelessly rolling up against Tobias, trying to get as much friction as possible, causing Tobias to groan into his ear and suddenly thrust against him. A hand once again snaked its way between them, taking hold of both of their erections and sliding along them both. Matt groaned now, hands gripping Tobias’s shoulders in ecstasy, lost in the sensation.

“Ah, ah, T-tobi… ah.. I’m…” Matt could feel himself getting close, and as if sensing this Tobias released their erections and instead both hands slid under Matt’s legs, bringing Matt closer to him and rolling faster against him. The room was filled with moans of both men, as they both got closer to the edge…

*whine*

Matt’s lust filled brain tried to make sense of what it hearing. Was that Tobias? It didn’t even sound human…

*whine*

Matt blinked slowly, looking up at the gray ceiling as he woke from yet another wet dream of the white haired, blue-eyed man. He heard the low whine once again and looked to the side of the bed where he could barely make out his dog, Hades sitting in the dark with his head resting on the edge of the bed, looking at Matt expectantly. Matt could hear the dog’s tail swish across the floor, obviously pleased that he was successful in waking his master. Sighing slightly, Matt sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed, glancing at the clock as he did so and groaning inwardly when he saw it glowing 5:32 in the still dark room, a full hour before his alarm goes off. Knowing that it’d be impossible to go back asleep at this point, Matt stood and stretched before heading out of the room. As he walked out of the room he could hear the bed groan slightly as the heavy, black Newfoundland jumped up and began getting comfortable on the bed.

“Damn, spoiled dog…” Matt muttered under his breath, before going into the bathroom and take care of the ‘problem’ his dream had left him with.

Staring at the computer screen computer screen ahead of him Matt tried to make sense of the code filling up over half the screen. He was slumped over his desk, with his head propped up on one hand, with his face inches from the screen. Almost two weeks had passed since his ‘eventful’ night at the spa, and almost every night since then had him waking up suddenly from those dreams, sometimes in the middle of the night and making it almost impossible to get any more sleep. He was exhausted. His friends had started to comment on his constantly tired appearance but Matt would say no more than he’s just been having some troubles sleeping. Well, most of his friend’s had commented on it, Matt had not talked to Trent since that night, still hurt from the other’s words, though he’d never admit it. What surprised Matt the most is with how much Trent had gotten mad, none of the others had made that much of an issue of it. Because apparently Mallory had gone ahead and told the others of what he had saw, though it seemed he did not go into as much detail as he did when telling Trent. When Matt met up with the others during the week after the spa, the only one who made a big deal of it was Mallory, who patted Matt on the back and congratulated him on finally ‘embracing his sexual side’, which just made Matt turn red as a tomato. Brice made some comment on how it was about time Matt finally got laid, while Ayden had just smiled and said he was glad that Matt had a good time.

Now he was at work, going through code of a website, trying to figure out where he had mistyped something that was preventing it from working correctly. Matt felt like pulling his hair out, because he just couldn’t figure it out, though it didn’t help that he was only half awake, still sitting with his face mere inches from the screen.

“You misspelled your div id on the CSS side.”

Matt jumped when he heard the voice right above his head, looking up to see one of his co-workers standing behind him and leaning slightly over his chair. “Sara, I really hate it when you sneak up on me like that.” Matt sighed, swiveling his chair around to face the other. Sara grinned and took a couple steps back to give Matt some breathing room once again. Sara was few years older than Matt, as well as a few inches, though she was nice enough not to rub it in his face too much. She had shoulder length blonde hair that was always up in a ponytail, and sky blue eyes. “You know, you’ll ruin your eyesight sitting that close to the computer.” Sara said, backing up to lean against the wall. Matt glared slightly at the blonde before looking back at his screen.

“You said I misspelled something in the CSS, what was it?” Matt asked, trying to find the mistake but once again failing. “Right…. here.” Sara pointed to spot on the screen and sure enough, Matt had an extra letter in the id name. “I’m surprised, our little ‘Coding Master’ made such a simple mistake, those dreams must really be getting to you.” Matt frowned at the ‘little’ comment but blushed slightly when Sara mentioned the dreams. He didn’t want anyone to know about the spa, but when Mallory had meet him and Sara for lunch the week after, he had told Sara all that had happened before Matt could stop him, and only agreed to not tell anyone else after several threats to his life. But it hadn’t taken too long for Sara to figure out why Matt looked dead tired almost everyday, sometimes Matt seriously thought the girl had some kind of mind reading powers.

When no response came Sara turned to sit partially on his desk, “So why don’t you try to call him or something?” Matt sighed, “We already went over this Sara, I don’t have his number, all I have is a name. Not that I’d call him anyways.” Though Matt had mentally kicked himself the next few days when he realized he hadn’t asked. Sara harrumphed at Matt’s response, “Oh, come on, your really saying that you’d have no problem never seeing him again? What about your dreams?”

“They’re just dreams, Sara, I only need to meet someone different and they’ll stop.” Matt said, continuing to work on his project.

Sara sighed dramatically again and stood back up, “Oh, before I forget, I came over to give you a message. Umm… what was it again…. Oh, you need to fill in for Rob at the client meeting at 4:30.”

“W-wait, what was that?”

“The meeting, at 4:30. I guess Rob’s kid got in trouble at school and he had to go, so you’re up to bat!” Sara said happily, but Matt just looked at her dumbstruck.

“B-but why me? I don’t even want to be a programmer, why don’t’ you do it?” Matt wasn’t lying, the place where he worked was a large design studio, called Real Design Inc., and while Matt’s original desire was to be a website designer, there currently weren’t any openings in the design side of the company. So what was meant to be a short time job as a website programmer, had turned into what now seems like a full time position when people started to realize that he did have quite a knack for it.

“Oh, come on now Matt, don’t be like that. You were the one that did most of coding on that website, and anyways you’re just meeting with Andrew, you know the guy in head of the design side, umm, the client, and the marketing representative from their company.”

“Yeah, but I can guarantee that none the others in there are going to be in t-shirt and jeans.” Matt gestured to his clothes, a pair of worn jeans and some random band t-shirt, it wasn’t business casual in any sense, but nobody really cared how you dressed there, as long as you did your job.

“Why don’t you go change real quick, you don’t live too far from here, right?” Matt nodded but then looked at the clock and quickly jumped up. “Shi- I’ve gotta go!”

Sara blinked in surprise, “O-okay…” but Matt was already gone, out of small office room and down the hallway. She quirked an eyebrow before glancing down at her watch and suddenly understood, the meeting was supposed to begin at 4:30; it was now 4:37.

Matt slid to a halt outside of the small conference room, where Andrew was waiting, looking a little anxious. “Ah, there you are Mr. Whishing. I was hoping Ms. Horkin was able to give you the message. Are you ready for the-“ He gave Matt’s clothes a once over, “uh… for the meeting?” He finished. Andrew usually was one of the more laid back bosses at Real Design, unless he was meeting face to face with a client. Now he wore a crisp suit, with his salt and pepper hair combed back and styled. Matt wasn’t sure his age, but guessed Andrew was somewhere in his mid-40s. Matt felt suddenly even more uncomfortable, it wasn’t as if it was his fault he just heard about the meeting five minutes ago.

“Y-yeah, sorry about being late.” Matt muttered, but Andrew waved the apology to the side, “Oh, don’t worry about that, now let’s get inside quickly, the others are already waiting for us.” He opened the door and ushered Matt inside, “This here is our client, Jessica Martin, head of the marketing division of IDC,” Andrew said, gesturing towards a well dressed, middle-aged woman that was sitting in one of the conference chairs. At her introduction she smiled slightly and nodded her head in greeting. “And this young man here is their marketing representative, ah, I’m sorry. I’m always worried that I’ll pronounce your name wrong…”

Matt turned to look at the other person Andrew was addressing and felt his breath catch in his throat. He could see the others eyes widen in slight surprise as well, before he smiled and extended his hand out. Matt could feel his right hand move to shake hands with the other man, though he didn’t realize he had even moved it.

“Oh, its quite alright, Andrew,” the man said, flashing the smile in Andrew’s direction before fixing his eyes on Matt again, “The name is Tobias Oshiro, and it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
