Not Happening

AN: Hey Ya'll! Here is the third chapter, it's a bit shorter than the others. I've been spending too much of my time watching anime. So here's chapter three!

Chapter Two Recap:

“What do you want Casey?” I said glaring at my ex-girlfriend.

She flicked her platinum blond hair over her shoulder and smirked all the way into her light brown eyes. She pushed off my car and walked sultry towards me and draped an arm over my shoulder.

“Isn’t it obvious?” She stated while looking me directly in the eyes. “I want you.”

Chapter Three: Not Happening

My jaw nearly dropped to the floor. How dare she come to me and say that, she was the one that cheated on me not the other way around. What am I saying, I should just get in my car and drive away before she says something that makes me throw her in the back seat like I used to. I brushed her arm off my shoulder and moved to open the car door when a hand on my arm stopped me.

“Oh Covey, you still angry with me are you? It was a long time ago.” She said in a voice that made you want to forgive everything she’s ever done.

“It was last summer!” I shouted, “It wasn’t that long ago.” I said and finally opened the car door and then I heard my mother’s voice. I looked up at Casey to see that she was holding her phone.

“Casey dear, this is Janea Miles, Coven’s mother. I would just like to inform you that your parents and I have come to the agreement that both you and Coven will wed the day after your graduation this year. So be a dear and make up with him, he brought this little… person to our home and tried to portray her as his current girlfriend. You should have seen the sad little creature, she isn’t appropriate for him, I expect you both to be together when I come to do my usual on tour check. I know you won’t let me do.”

My mother called her! What the hell kind of shit is this! I am not marrying Casey, not even if my parents threaten to take away my inheritance. If they do, then I’ll just get a job and move out, maybe Micah has a good idea about this opening thing. Oh wait, Casey’s saying something.

“You see, I told you when we were younger that we would get married.” Casey said flicking more of her hair out of the way.

“Not happening!”

I said before getting into my car and driving off down the road, there was no way that I was going to marry that…damn my father and his strict rule on how to treat a woman. I can’t even call her what I want to in my own head! I’m pretty sure that you’ve figured out where my thoughts were going, but I would have like to been able to say the word! Damn it all! I’m not marring that girl!

Huh? I…I think I felt something poke me.

At the stop light I looked down to see Micah poking me in my junk again. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS CHICK!

“AAAHHHH!” I screamed as I realized that she was in the car with me. “WHEN THE HELL DID YOU GET IN MY CAR!” I asked pushing her hands away from my privates, but she is determined today.

“What do you mean; you said you drove to school?” She said actually trying to pull the zipper down.

“Would you get off?” I shouted. The cars behind me were honking because the light had turned green.

“Oh, c’mon! I just want to see it?” Micah whined.

“Not happening!” I said pushing her hands away. Soft laughing from the back seat drew my attention there, and I found myself staring into crystal blue eyes. “J, Jealyn…what?”

“Hey Coven.” Jealyn said from behind his book.

“WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING IN MY CAR??!?!?!???!?!?!?”

(A Few Minutes Earlier!)

“Coven! You jerk! Come back here!” Micah shouted as she chased after Coven with her tightly grasping Jealyn’s hand.

“Miss Micah! Perhaps he really didn’t want any tea!” Jealyn squealed as he was dragged along through the hall; Micah suddenly stopped and nearly made Jealyn trip over the short girl.

“Why’d you stop so suddenly?” Jealyn asked looking down at the girl while trying to gain some balance.

“Who’s that girl?” Micah asked softly.

“Maybe she’s his girlfriend.” Jealyn said looking at the tall beautiful girl standing in front of Coven.

She didn’t seem like the person that he would spend his time with; then again Jealyn didn’t really know Coven all that well.

“I wonder if that’s Casey.” Micah said looking up at Jealyn, who only shrugged.

“Let’s get closer!”

“Why? They’re having a serious conversation from the looks of it.”

“Serious conversation my ass, look he’s trying to get away from her!” Micah said rushing towards Coven’s car, Jealyn sighed before following after the girl.

They both crouched down so that neither Casey nor Coven would see them; luckily the passenger’s side of the car was facing the school. The both Micah and Jealyn moved up to the side of the car and looked up at the two speaking. There was a third voice coming from Casey’s phone and Jealyn was listening closely to it when Micah distracted him by opening the car door.

“Micah! You made me miss the most interesting part!” Jealyn whispered. “What are you doing anyways?”

“I’m Coven’s girlfriend!” Micah claimed. “Therefore I should never have to ask for a ride. Now get in!”

“But…” Jealyn tried as he was pushed into the back seat.

“No buts! Just move yours!” Micah said as she climbed in after him.

(Current!)

“So you snuck into my car when I was talking to Casey.” I said looking at the other two. “How much did you hear?”

“Oh, not much…so, you want to make me look the way your mother likes to see the girls you hang around with look.” Micah said with a smile. “I’m sure you don’t really want to marry the girl that cheated on you.”

“You’re right.” I admitted. “I don’t want to marry her, but what can I do?” I feel another sighed coming on.

I really hate driving, sometimes it feels like I’m flying to close to the ground and then I start to speed up, then I freak when I see a shadow of a bird flying over the car. I glanced at the other two, I guess I really don’t have much of a choice; I’m going to have to make my mother like Micah more than Casey.

Where would Jealyn fit into all of this, I still don’t want to admit that I might be falling, ever so slowly, for the guy. That and I fear the day that he may forget me again, maybe I should try talking to his uncle when he’s not around. The guy scares the shit out of me, but it’s better than not knowing, choices, so many choices.

“Coven, are you feeling well.” Jealyn said reaching around my seat and placing his hand on my forehead.

“Fine.” I said not really directing my answer to anyone.

“That’s good.” “Really!”

I watched as Jealyn and Micah turned to look at each other, they both seemed to have been waiting for me to reply.

“Who were you talking to?” Micah asked while crossing her arms.

“Both.” I said not really paying attention and turning the car down the street that led to the highway, in the direction of the nearest mall.

“Really? I was wondering where we were going.” Micah said nearly jumping out of her seat. I finally looked at her and noticed that she neglected to fasten her seatbelt.

“That’s if you don’t get killed before we get there.” I said while reaching over to fasten the seatbelt; I have a feeling that his is going to a long day. Followed by a long week; just my luck.

Well that's chapter three, I'll shall get chapter four up! It'll be soon; eventually.
