Chapter 3: First day of classes & the attack
Chapter 3: First day of classes & the attack.
The next morning i woke up to Emily jumping on my bed and saying "wake up cornelius".
"Im awake!" i mumbled as i rolled over and closed my eyes again.
"Its time for school!" she screamed into my ear.
"Oh damn!" i said as i shot out of bed. "i gotta get dressed!" i added as i looked at my watch.
About a minute after that there was a knock on my room door.
"Are you ready Cornelius??" came a voice from the other side of it.
"Just about!" i called back.
About a moment after i came out holding Emilys hand in one hand and my schedule in my other. We walked down more hallways which i had never seen before. We finally got to the classrooms.
"kay what rooms does it say on your schedules?" asked the vamp.
"Emily has 4 and i have 10" i answered looking at them.
"okay, your room is down at the end, and i will take Emily to hers" the vamp said pointing down the hall and taking Emilys hand.
I walked down the hall looking into different classrooms. 'Classes here are much bigger than classes at my old school' i thought. I finally got to the end of the hall and looked on the back of the door.
"Room 10, here we are" i said to myself. i clutched the door knob with my hand and turned it, the door opened.
"Your late, find a seat, quick!" said the teacher with a frustrated look on.
I looked around the room looking for Jamie. I spotted her and took a seat beside her.
"Just as i was saying, before i was rudely interrupted" said the teacher looking at me. I felt embarassed.
Almost at the end of the class, Jamie had sent a note to me. I opened it and read it:
"This teacher is so rude! hope we dont get homework" it said.
I looked over at her and nodded and smiled, she smiled back. After the class was over, sure enough we did have homework.
As we were leaving the classroom, Jamie was looking at her schedule.
"Where is our next class?" i asked her.
"Just down this hall" she said as she started walking. I followed.
We walked for about half a minute and found the room. We walked inside and sat beside eachother. The teacher talked about about the history of vampires first, and gave us assignments.
"But its only our first day!" one student yelled out.
"The quicker you know this stuff the better" replyed the teacher as she sat back at her desk.
After that class it was finally lunch time. We sat down in the lunch hall and started to eat.
"Those classes were soo boring!" i said taking a bite of my sandwich.
"Look what i made for you!" Emily said tugging on my pantleg. It was a drawing of her and i standing infront of our old house.
"Wow thats really good" Said Jamie looking at it. I just stared not saying anything.
After lunch me and Jamie had to split up becuase i had gym and she had a cooking class.
"See you last class" said Jamie to me as we started walking seperate ways.
After class they met up and went to their last class of the day.
"That class was fun" said Jamie smiling.
"Yeah so was gym" i said also smiling.
We sat down beside eachother once again when we got to the class. We talked all class about the class we had before this one. I told her everything that happend and she did the same.
After that class was done, it was finally free time. We walked back to the hallway which our rooms are.
"I got so much homework to do" said Jamie.
"Yeah me too" i said sighing.
We both went into our rooms to do homework. About 10 minutes later i heard screaming coming from down the hall. I dropped my pencil and opened the door slowly and peaked out. I saw a dog like figure running down the hall. 'oh no, its the werewolves' i thought in my head as i shut the door quietly. 'i gotta get to Jamie and Emily!' i thought. I opened the door again slowly, peaked out, and then slid out and closed the door behind me. I slowly walked down the hall. I heard growling behind me. I turned around slowly to see a werewolf right behind me. I just stared in shock. I was too scared to move. It jumped at me and pinned me to the floor. I screamed out. Like 20 different vamps came out and fought off the werewolf, turned it human and brought it down into the dungeon. I was relieved. I nervously continued down the hall looking over my shoulder every second. I went into Emilys room and Jamie was also in there with Emily. I was also relieved to see that too.
"Cornelius!" said Emily hugging me. I hugged her back.
After everything had calm down in the castle, and Emily had fallen asleep, Jamie and i left her in her room and walked down the hall.
"I didn't want to tell Emily this, but before i went to the room i was almost attacked by a werewolf" i told Jamie looking at her. She just stared
"Oh my god, are you alright?" she asked me looking concerned.
"Yeah, ill be alright" i answered.
"Well ill see you tommorow" i said as she went into her room and shut the door.
I went to mine also and layed down on my bed. My arm began to hurt a little. I pulled up my sleeve and saw a scratch on it. I wiped off the blood with my sleeve. I started to feel a little weird. My eyes started to burn. I looked down at my nails and they were growing longer. 'oh god what is happening to me' i thought to myself. I started growing hair on my face, i knew becuase i could feel it. Before i knew it my whole body was hairy, and my eyes were glowing red. I blacked out, i dont know what happened next.
