-History Wing-

Paul couldn’t hold back the smile he was baring, quite obvious to anyone who walked by him as he made his way to his car to head home. His first day back to school had been amazing. Not only did he have all the courses that he wanted, he got to spend the lunch hour with the one person he had been waiting to see all summer… Will Prescot.

The two boys had always had a strong flirtatious relationship, even though neither had found the courage to take their relationship to the next level. Paul was obviously gay, he wasn’t open, but everyone knew; other than his family and that was good enough for him.

Paul opened his car door and tossed his backpack into the passenger seat. He was startled by a loud clunk on the top of his car.

Looking up at the direction of the noise he saw Jake.

“Holy shit man, you scared me.” He placed his hand over his chest, feeling his heart beat against his palm.

“Sorry dude. I saw you loading up the car and I thought I would come over and say ‘Hi’. We were kind of interrupted this morning.” Jake smirked slightly and re-adjusted his back-pack on his shoulder. Paul smiled and tossed his keys onto the driver’s seat in the car, placing one elbow against the roof to talk.

“Yes, those damned classes always have a way of ruining a good day of doing nothing.” Smiling he raised his eye-brows in a joking gesture. “So, what’s Jake doing today?”

“Well other than trying to get out of this school with out seeing that Kelly or Kristin chick…”

“Kim?”

“Yeah, Kim” Jake rolled his eyes a bit and pulled his back-pack up on his shoulder again. “She always come on that strong?” Slowly he brushed his shoulder off a bit.

Paul rolled his head back and laughed out loud. “Yeah, she usually has a way of fishing out the new meat and, well… having her way with them.” Opening the door again he climbed into the car.

Jake pulled open the passenger side door. “Hey, how about showing me around this town?” A lock of golden hair fell down to cover his eye.

“Sorry man, I need to meet a friend up town. We’re doing some community volunteer work together.” Paul turned the ignition and started the car. “I’ll see you tomorrow, it was nice meeting you.”

Jake unenthusiastically smiled, “Alright, see you tomorrow.”

Closing the door with his left hand he ran his other hand through his hair fixing it back into place and adjusted his back-pack to his shoulder again, left behind as Paul drove off with a trail of dust behind him.

Paul looked back in his review mirror and saw Jake turn slowly to be met by the one person he was trying to avoid, Kim and her posy. He didn’t care; he was going to meet Will at the library. Apparently Will was working on the same community project as himself.

Driving to the other side of Lithgrow took maybe five minutes if that, so it was no time before Paul was pulling into the parking lot of the public library. He spotted Will’s car and felt his stomach lurch with butterflies. As he shifted the car into park, he did a quick scan in his mirror and climbed out, locking the doors behind him.

Slowly he walked towards the building. His stomach was still filled with butterflies, but he knew once the two started working they would go away, so he tried to keep a calm behavior. Grasping the front door he pulled it open and walked into the front lobby, where the checkout/sign in desk was.

The short gray haired lady behind the counter re-adjusted her glasses and smiled. “Are you Paul Beverly sir?”

Paul looked around slightly confused and met her focus with his own. “Uh, yeah, I’m Paul Beverly… Why?”

The short lady smiled and pulled a piece of paper out from under the counter. “I was instructed to give this to you by another fellow in here… Said you two were working on some kind of project together. I believe he’s in the historic wing.”

Paul walked forward hesitantly and took the paper from the ladies aged hand. Her skin was soft and wrinkled. “Thank you ma’am.”

The old lady smiled and set her glasses up on her forehead again before plopping herself back into her chair and picking up a thick novel, continuing to read. Paul opened the folded piece of paper and began to read it…

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”

The note was short and scribbled in red pen. Paul recognized the saying but he had to rack his brain for a few seconds before he realized who had said it.

“Martin Luther King JR…”

“Pardon me son?” The elderly lady had perched herself to the edge of her chair.
Paul folded the note back up again before he responded. “Sorry, you said he was in the history section?”

“Yes dear, that’s right. At the very back there…” The woman smiled and settled back into her chair.

“Thank you.” Slowly he turned and headed to the back of the library. Will was waiting for him in the history section. Apparently he wanted him to meet him in the Martin Luther King section. His ‘Black History’ month project was off with a bang.

Paul worked his way to the very back of the library and found the corridor that lead to the history wing. It was on the second floor, next to the research lab. Slowly he made his way into the large shelf filled room. As he stepped into the first section the over head light turned on.

As he continued to walk the over head light turned off behind him and lit over top him. It was a new system that was installed to save on hydro. Slowly he made his way to the section labeled as ‘M’. Turning the corner he worked his way through the stacks of books until he found ‘Martin Luther, JR.’

A small envelope protruded from in between the books. “What the hell…” Paul looked around, no one was in sight. “Will, are you here?” Pulling the envelope from the books he saw his name printed on the front. Unfolding the flap to retrieve the letter he looked over his shoulder to see if he could see anyone coming.

Paul unfolded the letter inside the envelope; it was scribbled in red ink again. This time it didn’t hold a quote but only a few words.

I want to be with you…

Paul’s heart leapt against his chest. Quickly he looked in all four directions. Where the fuck was he? “Will, are you here?” A light on the far side of the room lit. He could feel his heart beating harder against his chest as he saw Will under the light.

Slowly the other boy began to move towards him. The lights clunked off and then on as he moved into a new position with each step. Paul turned and stood still, his palms were beginning to sweat. Standing in the same spot he had taken the envelope from he waited as Will got closer to him, never breaking his focus.

Will moved into the last spot, until he was directly under the same light as Paul. His heart was beating like crazy. Was he reading too much into the feeling he was getting from Paul. Was there really chemistry all these years? His chance was now; he had come too far to back down.

Both boys stood motionless staring into each others eyes. The room was silent. The light above them hummed and flickered softly reflecting their shadows onto the bookshelves. Will slowly moved his hand to Paul’s jaw, placing his thumb against his cheek, staring into his deep hazel eyes. Paul’s skin was so soft and milky. His heart was beating frantically as he moved himself closer to the other boy.

“Paul, I’ve waited a very long time for this moment.”

The boy’s voices were in low whisper. “Trust me, so have I…”

Slowly, Will moved closer to Paul until their lips were nearly touching. His heart was beating so fast he could hear it inside his own head, along with Paul’s beating against his palm as he held it firmly to his chest. Time seemed to stand still as they stood together. Will closed his eyes and pressed his lips to the other boys.

The most amazing sensation came over Paul as he felt the lips of the other boys pressed against his own. His mind was free of all worry and thought, his body was numb as he stood with his hands now placed gently on Will’s hips, surrendering his mouth to the warm tongue of the other boy.

His legs became weak as Will pulled him firmly against his own body. His hips lurching forward in need of the other. Both boys broke the kiss for only moments to gather air. Will pulled him back into himself, dominating his mouth his tongue. He could feel Paul hardening against his leg. The sensation was running through his own body.

Pushing Paul back carefully to lean against the stack of books, both boys held each other firmly, grinding, moaning and breathing hard. Paul broke the kiss as he released a loud moan, titling his head backwards against the shelf. Will softly kissed along his collar bone and up his jaw, nibbling gently on his ear lobe; holding it in his teeth.

Paul moaned and pressed his hips against the other boy’s body, now feeling his erection rubbing on his own. Will was well endowed; he could feel the pulsing muscle through his jeans. His breathing had got much heavier as he let his body become victim to Will, being kissed nibbled and grinded against. He was in complete ecstasy.

His mouth was again dominated by Will. He was experienced, Paul could tell. He needed more. He never wanted this moment to end. Slowly his hand traveled down to the other boys pulsing muscle, feeling it in his hand, causing Will to moan loudly before kissing him deeply again.

Will moved his hands to the bottom of Paul’s shirt and began to lift it upwards. He was stopped by the other boy’s hands, as he broke the kiss.

“Will, I can’t do this.”

Will smiled and kissed Paul softly on the neck. “I know.”

A sudden clunk and a light turning off in the entrance to the history wing caught the boy’s attention…

To Be Continued...

A/N: Well I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I know that it's a little cheesy the way it happened and all, but I wanted to give a little taste of whats to come in the story. Things are getting very interesting in Lithgrow. Paul and Will have finally taken their relationship to the next step, but how long will it last? Jake cant seem to get away from Kim, and whats with the creepy old lady!? (haha, just threw that in for a laugh) Intriguing. Stay tuned for the next chapter. Again I apologize for the cheesy'ness. I've been mad crazy with work so I'm usually writing at 1 or 2 in the morning. Its hard to have creative juices flowing that late. Well enjoy, review and remember you can contact me at recondited_@hotmail.com
