Chapter 2

Chapter 2
17 Years Later

morning... earth

"Christos! Wake up now and get ready for school." Carmela yells through the door as she knocks on it roughly with her fists. It had been 17 years since her encounter, as she put it in her mind. with the strange man. She had never told anyone she was raped. Because she honestly had no idea how she could explain such an encounter.

Added to that was her fear of seeing that man again. His threat still rang clear in her mind. "You will bear my child. And raise it. When the time comes that I feel it is old enough and ready. I will come for it. Tell anyone of this. And I will kill you. Try to get rid of my child and I will make you wish you never exsited. For there is after all things far worse then death... Until we meet again" She had never forgotten those words.

And she had listened well to them. For here she was 17 years later. Now 42 years old. Rasing not one but two 17 year old teens. "Hold on I am getting up all ready. God damn do you always have to fucking nag me in the morning." Christos's cold voice comes from the other side of the door. As the sounds of him getting up can be heard. Carmela sighs. It had been a hellish 17 years at that.

After her children were born and had started to grow older. She had realized quickly that they were not human. And even more so, not creatures of god. She brings her gold cross to her lips kissing it as she walks to the next room. Her hand shaking slightly as she knocks on the next door. "Kalista! get up, you have to get ready for school"

She closes her eyes for a moment. Expecting to feel a searing pain at awakening her daughter. Yes. The man had said bear his child. But instead of one. Carmela had given birth to two. Twins. A Boy, and a girl. Christos and Kalista. Her children had devloped many powers over their growing. She sighs again as the door she stood in front of flies open. Cold blue eyes with red flecks meet Carmela's soft hearted blues. Her daughter was awake now.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to bang on my door mother" The girls voice was much colder then the boys. Out of her two children. Carmela feared her daughter more then her son. And with good reason. While Christos held strength. Kalista was always the brains behind the ideas. And far more brutal then her brother. No command given by Kalista was ingored by her brother.

Carmela winces as the familar searing pain courses through her body. "When will you learn to listen to what I say mother" Kalista smirks as she watches tears well up in Carmela's eyes. Christos steps out of his room to see his sister yet again tormenting their mother for awakening her.

"Kali. Let her up now. We did have to get up eventually anyway." He speaks much more softly to his sister. Tenderness towards her very evident in his voice.

Kalista looks to her brother. "You said it yourself. Shes being a fucking nag again. As if we cant get up on our own. I dislike her desturbing me before I am ready to awaken. And she knows it. "
He nods in agreement. "True. Despite the fact I find the shit annoying as well. She is our mother. And it is considered her job to make sure we are awake before she leaves for work. Speaking of work. Your going to make her late again if you continue. As well as us."

She sighs. "Very well" she releases the hold she has on Carmela's body. The woman falls to the floor breathing heavly. "I do love you mother but I must say.... Your weakness is rather... Pathetic." She looks to Christos. "Come brother. We will be late for school after all"

Christos nods. Grabing up his back pack as his sister gets hers. He then pulls their mother up. Make no mistake by their actions. They did care for their mother. But their blood refused to let them be ruled by anyone. Even though not yet quite sure of what they were. Christos and Kalista did know they were not normal.

Carmela watches her two children as they left for school. Her children had good days and they had bad. But the day she feared the most, she knew was yet to come. She closes her eyes as the words come into her mind like searing daggers. "When the time comes that I feel it is old enough and ready. I will come for it." . They were practically grown now. And despite the sometimes cold behavior. She loved her children. And feared the day their father would come for them.
