**Chapter Three**

“What…what if I order you to let me go?” Jayden asked hesitantly, his voice finally rising above a whisper. He tried yet again to pull away from Damean, but it was no use. The demon’s mind was too strong…

“It won’t work. That’s not why I was summoned,” Damean said, a small smirk slowly forming. “Weren’t you listening when your friend was doing the summoning spell?” he asked, knowing Jayden hadn’t been.

“I…I wasn’t…should…” Jayden trailed off, his eyes widening even more. What the hell had Zach done? There was only one thing a person summoned an incubus for, and it wasn’t better dreams.

Damean saw the look on the boy’s face and decided to take pity on him. He let up his hold on the boy’s mind and allowed him to move away. He really had no idea. The kid was definitely in for a shock…

Jayden felt the subtle pressure on his mind disappear and immediately moved as far away from Damean as he could get, stopping only when he found himself pressed against the wall. He wanted to run away…wanted to scream…

Worst of all…some part of him wanted to stay…

Cursing softly, he ruthlessly shoved that thought to the background as he studied Damean. He could almost convince himself that this man was a human and this was nothing more than another one of Zach’s practical jokes. Except for the wings. Huge, jet black wings. There was no way it was part of some elaborate costume. They moved, they twitched…

“You weren’t just messing with me. You really are a…a demon,” he said softly, his hands clenched hard enough to draw blood. He didn’t want to accept it. If he ignored the only-too-obvious signs, he could pretend this was just a dream…

“And you’re really a human. Will the surprises never end?” Damean mocked, starting to get a little bored with this. He hadn’t brought Jayden here to talk, after all. “Now that that’s settled…”

Jayden pressed back against the wall as Damean started walking towards him again. He bit back a small whimper and closed his eyes, willing himself to wake up. This had to be a dream. It had to be…

He couldn’t hold back a strangled gasp when he felt Damean’s breath whisper across his cheek. His eyes flew open in shock and he pressed back against the wall, trying to just sink through it and get away from this. He refused to acknowledge the small part of his mind that was excited by being this close to the demon. This couldn’t be happening. It had to be a dream…

Damean smirked and moved forward until he was mere inches away from Jayden. The boy looked like a cornered mouse, but Damean knew that, somewhere inside, Jayden wanted this as much as he did.

Still smirking, he leaned forward and brushed his lips lightly across Jayden’s, just enough to tease him. He almost laughed when Jayden leaned towards him a little, probably not even realizing that he’d done it. He leaned in again, giving Jayden another taste of what he could have. All he had to do was say the word.

Jayden closed his eyes when Damean kissed him again. He wasn’t sure now if he was trying to block out the demon or concentrate on the sensations. He hadn’t felt anything like this before, not even with David. Much as he wanted to, he couldn’t lie to himself. He wanted this. He wanted Damean…

Letting out a soft moan, he pushed away from the wall, leaning into Damean. He hesitantly rested his hands on the demon’s hips, giving in and giving up. That’s what Zach and Damean had wanted, right? They wanted him to get over David…apparently by any means necessary.

Everything that had happened so far had led up to this, so Jayden was honestly shocked when Damean gently pushed his hands away and stepped back, breaking off the kiss. He stared at the demon, his mind still a little hazy and confused.

“What…I…I thought…you-”

“Not yet, pet,” Damean said, effectively cutting him off. That trademark smirk still lurked as he watched Jayden slowly come back to himself. The confusion was evident as he looked up, his eyes questioning. The look slowly cleared as he realized what was going on.

“Damn you,” he hissed, clenching his hands tight again. Damean was just teasing him. He hadn’t liked it with David, he liked it even less with Damean. Practically shaking with anger, he pushed past the demon and moved back to the center of the room, searching.

“And just what is it you’re doing, pet?” Damean asked casually, leaning against the wall. He’d gotten everything he needed to know out of that one kiss. He was confident that Jayden wouldn’t leave. Not now.

“What the hell do you think I’m doing?! I’m finding a way out of here!” Jayden snapped, searching the room. “Isn’t there a fucking door in this place?!” he hissed, turning to glare at Damean when he didn’t find a door. No way was he going to stay here with him. He didn’t want to deal with anyone, let alone a demon whose sole purpose was to torment him and make his life hell.

“There are plenty of doors in here. Care to…explore?” Damean asked mischievously, his eyes glinting with amusement. Jayden scowled and ignored the double meaning in Damean’s words.

“No, I don’t. What the hell is it going to take for you to let me out of here?” he snapped, crossing his arms over his chest and shooting Damean an icy look. The demon smirked and moved closer to Jayden again.

“You already know the answer to that one, pet,” he said, easily invading Jayden’s personal space. He didn’t let any part of himself touch the boy, but a piece of paper would have had a lot of trouble fitting between them.

“What?! I tried to! You fucking teased me!” Jayden shouted, forcing himself not to move. He wasn’t going to let some demon intimidate him. “Just let me go! I’m not staying here! And I most certainly won’t let you touch me again!”

“Sorry, little pet. I can’t just let you go. I was summoned to you. I can’t let you go until our…business…has been attended to,” Damean said with a shrug. Inside, he was celebrating. It had been far too long since he’d faced a challenge quite like Jayden. This was going to be a lot of fun…
