Chapter 3 ~Project: Death Angel~
“And the angel of death arose from her slumber...”
Sashiko openned her eyes as she floated submerged in a clear liquid, her nude body encased in a clear cylinderical chamber. She looked down at where she sustained the the bullet wound and the area was fully healed. Sashiko tried to look out into her surroundings except the liquid and the distorting effect of the cylinder surface made it quite hard for her to see the surroundings. She tried to turn around, except there was a type of brace secured tightly to her neck, wires and tubing leading from the brace to the sides of the cylinder. Slowly Sashiko realized that she couldn’t breathe, she closed her mouth as she tried in vain to break the prison around her. Desperation clouded her thoughts as she continued to thrash within the tube... and then there was a tap upon the surface of the cylinder. Sashiko looked at the blurry image and as she slowly grew accustomed to the liquid atmosphere. She saw a women dressed in an all white outfit, a white labcoat concealed her bodily features as Sashiko looked at her dark red hair and elegant facial features. “Relax...struggling will only hamper your regenerative process...open your mouth and breathe, its alright” The woman placed her palm against the cylinder as she smiled, she turned to look at someone in the distance as she nodded. Sashiko openned her mouth and let the liquid in, there was some difficulty in the beginning but she was soon able to breath through the liquid itself. The woman watched as Sashiko became accustomed to her new domain. Sashiko looked down at her as she smiled, she tried to speak but nothing came out, only she could hear herself, but the woman pointed to the brace that was around her neck as she motioned towards a switch. Sashiko flipped the switch as she spoke again, the containment unit vibrated for a moment as it synchronized her voice patterns. “Where am I?how can I breath?...and who are you?” curiosity was more so then in any other sense of emotion. The woman removed her hand from the chamber as she stood infront of Sashiko, her hands in her pocket as she looked her in the face. “Well...lets see, how to answer that... Well Sashiko, your in a laboratory. I’ll explain more once we remove you from the O.G.C...please excuse me for a moment.” A lab technician had walked over to her and handed over a file, she read over it a few times before the woman signed and handed it back to the technician who promtly ran off. “ as I was saying...O.G.C means Oxygen Generative Chamber, O.G.C for short...anyway, the reason you can breath is that the liquid around you is a form of liquid oxygen. Mostly used by deep sea divers when the oxygen in its gas form would be highly dangerous in the dark depths that they work in... we’ve also combined it with our own concoction of chemicals and nanomachines... thats why that fatal wound you recieved is now fully healed.” The woman watched as Sashiko felt the area right above her naval, were the wound should have been was now fully healed and there wasn’t even a small scar to even hint at such a devastating wound... ”Now for me...I’m Doctor Samantha Evans and I’m the one that brought you back... now just rest...you have a big day tomorrow...my angel” Samantha took a step back walking out of view, as Sashiko closed her eyes. Everything seemed to be a dream, like the ones that she used to have when she was ten years old, the dream inwhich she would be floating wether through the air or on top of the water it never was clear... but this was the sensation given true form as she felt her body float, her raven black hair waved above and around her as if she were caught in a tide. As Sashiko fell into a dreamless slumber, one of thehnichnicians began to transmit an impulse of energy to the chip which lay at the base of Sashiko’s neck... which would make her into a living doll, to obey there orders when it seemed fit.
While Doctor Samantha Evans walked over to a nearby room inwhich the other tools of “Project: Death Angel” were spread out. She moved her index finger over the cold muzzle of the PSG-1 that lay next to an assortment of weaponry and then over to the black bodyforming suit, feeling its smooth fabric beneath her finger... her angel of death would soon arise, to bring vengence and order to a corrupt world... and the first to suffer her cleansing fire would be the one that cast the first stone...
