A small chime sounded in the main room and Christian stood up. He noticed the sun had gone down and smoothed Heart’s hair. He kissed the boy’s forehead and walked into the main room.

Christian put on his best smile and made his way around the bedthe the man standing before him. He ran a hand over a polished silver cuirass and sighed lustfully.

“What’s your name? He pressed close. “I don’t get too many soldiers in here…”

The man frowned and removed Christian’s hand. He pulled out a bulging coin purse. “The Prince apologizes and wishes to know if you’re available.”

Christian smiled and took the purse. “Tell him…always after midnight.”

“I do not understand the Prince’s fascination with male whores, but I will deliver the message.”

“Good. Oh, and please tell him this…” Christian pressed himself close to the soldier and whispered, “You must send me one of your soldiers sometimes. They look so…able.” He then gave the soldier a lingering kiss with plenty of tongue and swished his way back over to the bed.

The soldier frowned again then left. Christian waited until he heard the door close then opened the bag he had been given. The bag was filled with various diamond cut jewels and coins.

“What are those?”

“Jewels, my Heart. And coins. My Prince has sent an apology. Come here.”

Heart ran over to the bed, eyes wide with excitement. He peered in the bag and gasped at all the jewels inside.

“Do you want one?”

The boy reached for a small ruby.

“No, no…get this one!” Christian dug a smooth round cut ruby in the boy’s palm. “Look how it shines!”

Heart looked at Christian. “Can I have the white one?”

The blond smiled and gave the boy a diamond. “And also…” He gave the boy a large silver coin. “There. That’s a courtesan’s wage. When you’re as good as me…diamonds, pearls, rubies, gold and silver, they are all mine…and Madams.”

Christian put the bag away on a high shelf and beckoned Heart to him. “Want me to put your treasure away?”

He shook his head. “I want to keep it!”

“Okay.” He took down a small metal box and thrust it at the boy. “Hide it away in here.”

Heart took the box and disappeared into his room. Christian smiled and turned with a smile as the door chime sounded.

By the motley dress of silks, cottons, earrings and tattoos, Christian guessed this man was a sailor. He eyed the sword at the man’s side and slinked over to pull it right out of his belt.

“Oh my…where’d you get this?”

The sailor pulled Christian to him and took his sword back. “A dead man. Why?”

Christian looked into his eyes and gasped. “You killed some one?”

“Why? It turn you on?”

He smiled and ran a hand up the pirate’s tattooed arm. “No…but I dke ske strong men….” He ran another hand up the man’s shirt front. “And so~o many tattoos…hony?”ny?”

The man dropped his weapon and took off his shirt. Christian ooed and ahhed and ran his hands over the man’s tattooed body.

“Goddess…so many…”

The sailor grinned. “I don’t believe in the goddess.”

Christian giggled and wrapped his arms around the man’s neck. “You’re dangerous….” He purred and leaned up closer. “I’ll bet you’re really a pirate!”

“You’d win that bet!” he picked Christian up and took him to the bed. He then removed the youth’s clothes without ceremony and unbuckled his pants. He forced his thick tongue into the sixteen year old’s mouth and pushed into him roughly. Christian whined in pain for a moment, buy then moaned and dug his ivory nails into the man’s illustrated back.

From a tiny slit in the curtain that blocked the side room from view, Heart watched Christian as he “worked”. The noises Christian was making sounded like he was in pain, but he didn’t seem to want the man to stop. Finally, when the man stopped hurting Christian he gave him money and left.

Heart watched all this, attempting to wrap his child’s mind around the circumstances. Is this what Christian did every night to get those pretty jewels? Maybe he would ask later. For now….

Christian sat up in bad, looking tired but satisfied as he called warmly to the next customer behind the chiming door.

It would be a long night…
