"im excited Ebony" Ginny said. she glanced at her daughter as the car stoped at a red light

"you'v really pulled your life together i'm proud of you mama!" Ebony said smiling at her mother.

"this job is going to do it for us Eb, no more mooching off people i'm going to take carer of us myself. man or no man!" Ginny said her hands squeezing the steering wheel.

Ebonys smile faultered at her mothers last words and she shivered. the car started moving again and she thought of her mother and step-father,they had just split up after ten years of abuse drugs and alcohol. Her mother had finally hand enough sence to get them away from him . Now Ginny had put herself in therapy A.A and N.A. Shaking her head Ebony banished her thoughts after all that was the past.

smiling once again Ebony turned in her seat. "mama i no this is short notice but i was wondering if that for my birthday i could have a sleep over?" Ebony asked

"of course you can baby, it will be fun i'll take you to rent some movies and then will go to the store to get some munchies you girls can snack on. sound good?"

Ebony nodded estaticly "thanks mom your the best"

Ginny laughed "after all my little girl only turns 13 once"

Ebony woke to her mothers alarm clock the way she had been doing sence the beginning of summer. she lay there listing to her mother move around the house and truth be told she was a little surprised, usually Ginny woul have shut off the alarm and gone back to sleep. Ebony supposed that sence Tony hadn't spent the night that Ginny was actually going to work for the first time in a week. for lack of anything to fuck. Ebony thought in discust. turnning on her side she flinched still sore frome last night and thought about her dream. it was odd she usually didn't dream so vividly of her past with her mother she rememberd that day she had been about to turn 13 she had been excited. sighing that had been almost 3 years ago shed be 16 on june the 6th only 2 days away. i wonder what mom will get me for my birthday? Ebony snorted probably another beating she thought humorlessly. getting out of bed she went to her bed room bathroom not making a sound she turned on the light and looked in the mirror. Ebonys lip was swollen and a few scraches were on her cheeks she had a knot on the side of her head and her eyes were puffy from crying. Ebony sighed in relief she had been expecting much worse, but this ment she could still go to work today shed just tell her boss that she fell of a bike. picking up a went washcloth Ebony washed the dried blood from her face, that done she pulled her long black hair into a messy bun. going back into her bedroom Ebony put on the black skirt and green blouse that she wore waitressing at the diner. sitting back on her bed she waited for her mother to leave praying that her morning shift would be slow.

It was another 15 minutes befor Ebony hear her mothers car pull out of the grive way. she had just gotten out of bed and put her shoes on when her bedroom door was flung open so hard that it bounced off the wall. Ebony screamed a big man stood there his 6 foot 2 frame filling the doorway long brown hair spilling on his shoulders dARK blue blood shot eyes searching for her. Ebonys heart thundered in her chest there was no way out she was trapped, trapped alone in her house alone in her bedroom with Tony......
