\" Awakened \"
Vincent lay there still, asleep on his side head and shoulder on the tree. Dry tears from a nightmare he had. It was now becoming night. Vincent usually slept during the day and woke up at night.
A dark figure slowly approached the sleeping Vampire. The figure wore a black hooded cloak. The person stood next to Vincent facing his back. The cloaked figures hand reached up and stroked The sleeping Vampires hair whispering for him to wake up.
Vincent heard a voice but didn't want to wake up. "“What"¦? Who's calling me? I don't want to wake up"¦- His eyes brows knitted as he let out a weak groan.
| He is sicker then Kate told me. | The Stranger picked up the sickened Vampire. | Looks like I will have to bandage up his arm too. Seem as if my love left that out. | The figure looked down at the Vampire.
" Don't worry Vincent. I am here to help. " The man started to walk down the path towards the meadow. Some how Vincnew new that and he started to show his protest. He tried to get away from the figure as best he could but he received a tighter hold on him.
" Please"¦n-no. Don't take me into the meadow! " He screeched.
" Why Vincent? " The man spoke has if speaking to a frightened animal.
"It's day! The sun! I'll"¦I'll die"¦" He whimpered.
" No. It is night now, my friend. " Came the gentle voice again.
" It is? "
" Yes. " With that Vincent opened his eyes looking up.
" W-who are you?" He stammered.
" I cannot tell you that right now. All I can say is that are both now Kate. "
" K-kate? Did she send you?"
" Yes. She was worried about you." The figure smiled but Vincent couldn't see it for the figure wore the hood of his cloak.
" She was? "
"Yes. She was. " The figure looked around. " Shall we go? I should take you somewhere safe. The forest is not safe at night. Many demons. "
" O-ok"¦ " Vincent soon gasped, a sharp pain going through his head. He closed his eyes trying to make the pain go away. He let out other sounds of pain that showed how much pain he was in, And he was paler than ever.
The figures eyes widened down and Vincent and darted across the meadow. The figure knew where there was a small house in the forest. He would take Vincent there for the Night.
On the way their Vincent had gasped out his last breathe passing out.

~ At The House ~
The figure was sitting next to the bed, wet cloth in hand stroking it across the ill Vampires forehead murmuring things to someone that wasn't really there. His cloak now off, hanging on a hook by the door.
Vincent woke up feeling something cold sweeping across his forehead. It soon stopped. Vincent opened his eyes looking, seeing a white ceiling. A hand went behind his head tilting his head up, and a cup placed to his lips.
" Drink. " Vincent did as he was told. A metallic taste past through his lips. It was blood.
" Feel better? " He gave a nod to the man.
" Thanks"¦ "
" It's no problem. " The man gave him a smile. Vincent laid his head back on the pillow, closing his eyes. The lyrics to Jaded started to form in his head. But than they stopped.
" Who are you anyway? " Vincent opened his eyes quickly sitting up looking up at the figure. " Who? "
" I am Awaikage. "
" Awaikage? I've heard of you"¦from Kate. She's said how much she-"
" "“Loves me. Yes I know. too too"¦"
" Ah. " Awaikage rose to his feet walking over to a window. Vincent blinked. There was silence for a few minutes.
" How has she been?" Awaikage was the first to break it.
" She's been great. She misses you. " Vincent blinked.
" Has she? "
" Yeah. "
" I miss her too"¦"
" Why don't you two talk? "
" Long story, my friend. Very long story. " Awaikage closed his eyes.
" Oh. Do you live here? "
" Sometimes. If you'd like"¦you could stay here"¦as long as you like"¦I can make it so that the sun doesn't come in even though it /doesn't/."
" Ok. " Vincent gave Awai a grin. Awaikage gave him a small smile.
Near by a figure was watching the two from a tree. A crow perched on it's shoulder.
" Soon"¦"
