My Christmas Wish
A/N: For Crazzy Girl99, first to answer your question. Kiseki Shinwa is a junior, 16. I was going to make him a senior, but it would almost seem pointless for him to join halfway into the year during the last year, he would just finish at home. Also, a cameo appearance by maybe a future character for you. He was in the background, but I brought him in so you could see him. I\'m not sure if I will have room for him, no promises. I just go where the story leads me.
To Anon, Sam, Miles, and anyone I don\'t remember the names of off the top of my head, THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!!!
Chapter 33 – My Christmas Wish
“This place is beautiful!” Yuki cried in awe, stepping into the ballroom of the grand hotel, owned by none other than Mrs. Chenbaro. The ballroom that night was filled with beautiful people from all aspects of life, the highest of business partners, and the lowest of teenagers. It was a mix of the whole city all mingled into one ballroom. Amatsu and Kyoei were working hard as deejays, trying to keep the music right for everyone and even with their expertise having a hard time with it. Fuji had come with her mother and was mostly stuck standing in a line meeting people her mother had working for her at the hotel and the Maple Corporation down the street. Fuji looked bored and tried to shoot as many looks towards the deejay booth as possible to just glimpse the reason she was enduring this instead of fighting with her mother and just staying home.
Beside Mrs. Chenbaro stood Teiiyoku Tennison, smiling the same pleasant fake smile as the rest of the world. Fuji was trying to look anywhere but at him. If she even glimpsed his coattails on his suit she felt ill.
Shai and her father, Mr. Taiikuka, were there was well. Mr. Taiikuka worked for Mrs. Chenbaro at the Maple Corporation and had been invited to meet some of the most prestigious people and land accounts for their firm. Shai was looking anywhere but at Mr. Tennison, and Mr. Taiikuka was trying to be pleasant since it was his boss’s fiancé who had gotten his baby girl pregnant. Oh yes, he knew, but he did not know what to do about it. He had the money to sue the man and take him to court, but he would lose his job quickly after and Shai did not want to press charges. She was angry, but a part of her still cared about the man who’s child she was carrying.
Yuki was there was well with her entire family. They had been invited by Officer Pop, who sat demurely in a corner with her husband looking very unlike the tough cop she portrayed while at the station. Officer Pop thought it would be nice to give the family a break from the life of hurt, though Kaori was sulking the entire time. She thought they should have gone to have seen Nakago at the institute. She complained it was heartless of them to go out and celebrate Christmas while Nakago was alone in that horrid place. Mother Oshidori pointed out to her daughter that they had spent Christmas Eve there.
Danko was there as Kaori’s friend, because Kaori did not wish to go without her, and Danko was hoping to make Kaori miserable. Danko had not forgiven her best friend for telling Nakago she would run away with him, and she sat and watched Kaori every day closely, waiting for her to slip up. Kaori did not slip up, she never mentioned her vow to Nakago, and even teased Danko a few times, kissing her and toying with her in ways that made Danko want her desperately.
Danko locked eyes with Kago, who was staying slightly away from Yuki’s family but keeping an eye on his girlfriend. Danko wanted Kago’s help; she just was not sure how to ask for it, especially after his hatred of her.
It was a night for lies and deceit, and still all of the women were trying their best to enjoy themselves. Fuji was waiting for the perfect opportunity to escape her mother and go find her friends across the crowd.
“We were thinking of a spring wedding,” Mrs. Chenbaro was explaining to one of the men who worked at the head of the hotel. She was preening and bragging, one arm strewn through Mr. Tennison’s, the other arm strewn through Fuji’s, her nails digging deeply into Fuji’s skin to keep her from trying to escape as she had done earlier.
“We want to do the first couple of weeks of April when the Cherry Blossoms are in bloom and falling from the trees,” Mr. Tennison said, gazing at Mrs. Chenbaro like a man in love. Fuji tugged on her arm ever so carefully once more. She thought she was going to be sick.
“Mother,” Fuji said pleasantly, and being sure people could hear her speaking, “may I go and say hello to the Taiikuka family?”
Mrs. Chenbaro was stuck. She could not outright refuse in front of so many people, but her eyes made sure to show her daughter the anger hidden behind them. “Of course you can sweetheart,” Mrs. Chenbaro smiled. She released her daughter, who quietly bowed in exit to the couple her mom had been speaking with, and scurried off.
“Hello Fuji!” Mr. Taiikuka smiled as Fuji came rushing over.
“Hello Mr. Taiikuka, Shai,” she smiled at them elegantly, hating the chandelier earrings that were weighing down her ears. “It is very nice to see you both.”
Shai smiled and straightened her skirt unconsciously. She was three months along and her very flat stomach was starting to show curve. She never said she felt fat, but she was more self-conscious that soon everyone would be able to tell that was pregnant.
“You don’t have to act so polite around us,” Mr. Taiikuka laughed. “We won’t judge you.”
“I must be polite for a moment longer,” Fuji told the respective older man. “I apologize for my mother’s actions with everything that is going on with Shai. I understand if your resentment carries over to me.”
“Ridiculous,” Mr. Taiikuka waved Fuji’s words off. “No one could blame you for your mother’s actions. Now, I am sure you girls want to run off and not spend the evening with an old man. I will just go over there and ogle the… food.” Mr. Taiikuka waved to Fuji, kissed Shai, and walked off pleasantly cheerful as always.
“How are you?” Shai asked her friend awkwardly.
“Oh swell, how about you?” Fuji asked back.
“Swelling,” Shai sighed. The two girls fell silent and suddenly both wished that Yuki would hurry and join them. The girls had done the opposite of bonding since finding out the secrets of their lovers and mothers. Instead they wanted to run away and hide from each other. Seeing Shai reminded Fuji of how awful her mother was, and seeing Fuji reminded Shai of what she was losing.
The two stood awkwardly while somewhere in the crowd Danko was moving to find Kago. Danko looked at his back, taking him all in, before approaching him. She tapped him on the shoulder and he turned to her, taking a step back as he saw her.
“What?” he growled obnoxiously. He had been staring at Yuki from across the way, and he had been staring at her in a way that made Danko’s stomach curdle.
“I want to talk to you,” Danko said gruffly.
“Talk,” he said, crossing his arms over his chest. He was not going to make this easy for her, and he was suspecting she was talking to him about the men he had rape her over three months ago.
“You know those men you hired to … have their way with me?” Danko asked her lip curling in disgust.
Kago looked around to make sure that no one was watching. “What about it?”
“I want to use them again, but on Kaori,” Danko admitted quite frankly. “I want you to hire them out so I can use them to prove something to her.”
Kago let out a harsh laugh. “You want me to hurt my girlfriend’s sister?” he asked thickly.
“Yes,” Danko said quite honestly. “Besides, you and I both know that you are not really love with Yuki, and really, I do not even understand what you are doing with her.”
Kago gestured for Danko to follow him. They went out into the hallway where the swarm of people was not so thick. They went around a corner to some place secluded and he leaned against the wall near her. “Why aren’t you angrier with me about having you raped?” Kago asked out of morbid curiosity.
“Because you aren’t that clever, nor do you have that kind of money,” Danko pointed out. “You may have found the men, but it was Nakago who was your puppeteer.” Danko reached into her wallet and pulled out a wad of bills, shoving them into Kago’s hand. “I want those same three guys, and they can even have their face covered. And I want them soon.”
Kago nodded and watched Danko start to walk away. Then he called out to her, delaying her escape. “You aren’t mad about being brutally raped?” he asked, his stubborn mind unable to let it go. After all of the horror stories, and all of the things he had seen done, he had never seen a woman so nonchalantly shrug it off before.
“Of course I am,” Danko admitted. “But my revenge on you will come at another time; the Oshidoris are my first choice of pray.” Danko walked away and for a moment Kago realized she just might be as twisted as he.

Fuji and Amatsu were hidden in a hallway behind the ballroom, hoping not to be caught while they exchanged presents. Amatsu opened his and smiled at the new cross that lay on black velvet. It was platinum, making it that much more expensive, with diamonds to accent the tips of the cross. In the center glimmered a single aquamarine stone that glittered with the same amazing color of Amatsu and Fuji’s eyes. It was extravagant, and yet against the tanner skin and the perfect chest, it would look wonderful.
“Thank you,” he said to her, leaning forward and kissing her softly, and yet it was the firmest kiss that he had given her since they had originally separated. Since then they had come to a quiet agreement to lay low with their relationship, especially considering Fuji’s mother’s temper.
Amatsu reached out into his pocket and pulled out a small box. Fuji had no delusions of grandeur, but she knew very well what a box that size meant. Still, she held her breath, waiting for him to open it, and show her a beautiful ring with the same diamonds and aquamarine stone that she had given him. It nearly looked like they had shopped together for one another.
“A promise ring?” Fuji asked, a slight hope to her tone.
Amatsu reached for Fuji’s hand and began to slide the ring slowly on her ring finger. She shifted uncomfortably and watched it fit perfectly onto her finger. She wiggled it in the dim light of the workers’ hallway and smiled down at it. “It’s beautiful,” she said, though the fact that had not answered her question was weighing heavily on her mind.
“I don’t expect you to marry me,” he said to her quietly. “So it can be a promise ring, for when you turn eighteen.”
Fuji looked down at the ring once more. She practiced running her fingers through her hair with the ring on, straightening out her skirt, just getting used to the feeling of the ring on her finger “Then, the answer is yes!”
Fuji jumped up into Amatsu’s arms and hugged him tight. She pushed up against him, lashing his tongue with hers passionately. She jumped so high she wrapped her legs around his waist, letting him push her into the wall behind her. He rubbed against her, feeling her through her pants, and for a moment he forgot all of his good manors all over again. All he wanted was to pull her panties from her body and slam into her.
If Kyoei had not come into the hallway and caught them, they probably would have. Kyoei tried to act like he did not see anything, but he had to admit by all means that Fuji cut a lovely figure, and he would just hum to himself while trying not to picture his friend’s girlfriend naked.
“Sorry Kyoei,” Fuji said, pushing her skirt back down her legs. “I was just thanking Amatsu for his gift.”
“So you said yes?” Kyoei asked, turning back towards his friends. He missed Amatsu’s hand gestures completely. “All you have to do is get a guardian to sign a form and at sixteen you can marry Amatsu.”
Fuji’s eyes widened and she turned to Amatsu with a look that said she had not expected that. Amatsu let out a large huff and Kyoei quietly excused himself.

“Hello Shai, Yuki,” that subtly smooth voice said from behind the two girls who stood with Mr. Taiikuka as he truly ogled food. Yuki and Shai turned to the sound of the voice and Shinwa stepped up behind them, flanked by the keyboardist of what used to be his top-selling band.
“Shai, Yuki, I would like you to meet Yokoshima Shoushin, he was the keyboardist in my band, he is also my best friend,” Shinwa said, focusing attention on his friend who was about as superbly handsome as the other young man. Shai and Yuki both did their best not to stare at Shoushin and his nearly flaming red hair and green eyes, but it was hard not to.
“Why don’t you go to the same school as us?” Yuki asked of Shoushin sweetly, trying not to drool while her boyfriend was only fifteen feet away talking to an old friend.
“I graduated back in London,” Shoushin said, his accent much thicker than Shinwa’s. “I am about three years ahead of my mate here. He is the baby of the group.”
Shinwa looked like he did not seem all too happy to hear that analogy used and waved it off. “I just wanted to say hello to you girls. Shoushin is actually here to meet up with his life mate.”
“Life mate?” Yuki asked, then it quickly dawned on her and she said, very bluntly, “Oh, you’re gay.”
Shoushin laughed at her bluntness and smiled. “Yes, I am. Nice meeting the two of you.”
Shinwa and Shoushin walked away as Fuji came rushing out of the workers’ hallway and over to her friends. She hurried and jumping into Shai and Yuki’s welcome arms and hugged them tight, the whole time Mr. Taiikuka stood silent. When Fuji entered the fray he suddenly took notice and watched her carefully.
“Okay,” she said, not minding Mr. Taiikuka’s present at all. “I need to find a way to get my mom to sign an agreement for me to get married at sixteen. Then I won’t be living in my mother’s house any longer and I can be with Amatsu, and you guys, and not feel guilty I’ve breathed wrong.”
In the background Mr. Taiikuka began to choke while Shai and Yuki happily obliged to trying to figure out a way to make Mrs. Chenbaro, cold-hearted, calculating bitch, sign a form of release for her daughter. It seemed nearly impossible, but Fuji’s odds were better with Amatsu than with Mrs. Chenbaro.
