Running out of time

*As it was pointed out to me, maybe it would be better for Ronnie to forget about Jay, seeing as though he is the cause for his own pain. Makes sense. But I also recieved the same arguement in favor of Jay in the beginning of the story. Ronnie was kinda a bitch back then, if anyone remembers. Anyway, I just thought it was interesting, the thought of them not getting back together. You never know. I just might not have them get back together. Muahahaha. >:D

Veronica had to admit, she was having fun. The hotel they were in was very luxurious and being the fashion junkies they we, her co-workers had made and set up the decorations for the room the party was in. After seeing the stuff they had come up with, she wondered why her boss had chosen her for the new job instead of one of them. They were all great designers. She decided to forget about it and enjoy herself, which she did. And when Dorothy asked her to hang out for “one more night of fun” after the party, she didn’t hesitate in saying yes. There was no need to be home early.

What she didn’t know was that Jason was at the apartment, waiting for her return. He couldn’t imagine where she was and honestly, he was tired of waiting. ‘I have to talk to her’ he kept telling himself and forced his body to sit patently instead of scouring the town like he wanted to do. When 12:00 came and she still wasn’t back, he began to worry. His instincts took over and he was out the door in an instant, ready to look for her himself.

And look he did.

He searched for hours, looking in all the places they used to go and some places he had never been. Finally exhausted and with a quarter tank of gas in his mom’s car, Jason decided it would be best if he went back to the apartment. He parked the car right in front of the building and reclined his seat a little. ‘I’ll just sit here and wait. Catch her first thing when she comes back.’ The plan seemed like a good one as Jason felt his eyes get heavy.

“What time are you leaving?” Dorothy was asking Veronica as she drove her home.
“Six”
“Wow. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have kept you out so late.” Dorothy said when she noticed it was already past 3 in the morning.
“It’s okay.” Veronica giggled. “All my stuff in my apartment is packed up and will be in Chicago by Wednesday. My clothes are packed. I tied up all my loose ends. And besides, I can sleep on the plane. I had fun tonight, Dot.” Veronica finished, looking over at her co-worker and friend. Dorothy glanced at Veronica and saw the seriousness on her face. She smiled as she pulled behind the only car in front of Veronica’s house.

“I’m going to miss you too, Ronnie.” she said, facing the girl.
“I didn’t say I was going to miss you!” Veronica feigned indifference, but both knew the emotion that was filling the car. Veronica’s eyes watered for the girl who had become one of her closest allies over the last year, and Dorothy was feeling the same for the slightly younger girl. They hugged and let a few tears fall, but refused to cry.

“Good luck.” Dorothy said, giving Veronica a squeeze before letting her go for good. Veronica exited the car and fumbled with her keys before finding the right on and entering the apartment. When she got inside, she sat on the couch and inhaled deeply. Her keen nose picked up on a scent that she hadn’t smelled in the apartment in a long time.

‘Maybe it’s my imagination.’ she thought as she pictured Jason walking from the bedroom over to where she sat on the couch. She stood and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. She only had about 2 hours before she needed to get to the airport.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her moans were so enticing, driving him. She was panting under him, her hands above her head. He continued to dive into her, loving how soft and tight she felt. God, how he missed the feeling.

“Jason.” she moaned, and his member jumped in response to her cry. They were both slick with sweat and his chest slid easily over her breasts. He shuddered, feeling her hard nipples rub against his chest. He bent his head and let his mouth trail kissed along her jaw line. He felt her hips buck violently as his lips ran over a spot near her ear. He groaned loudly and quickened his pace.

She felt so good. So warm. Her walls were clenching around him now and he knew he couldn’t hold out much loner. He closed his eyes and let the waves of pleasure wash over him. He was moaning loudly now and he could feel himself ready to burst. She was screaming in pleasure as well and this only urged him on.

His eyes snapped open as he felt the pleasure leave him, being replaced by a sharp pain. Veronica was no longer beneath him, but was now under some other man. He struggled to see who was behind him, but the hands on his head prevented him.

“Don’t worry little brother” a voice echoed out. He looked toward Veronica to see the man on top of her was Alex, looking over his shoulder at him. “I’ll fuck you both over.” That’s when he was able to look behind him and see that it was Alex pumping in and out of him from behind. His head was back, eyes closed, a twisted smile on his lips. “And I’ll enjoy it too” the voice echoed out again.

He looked toward Veronica again to see her crying and reaching for him. He wanted so badly to reach for her, to break free and go to her, but he was paralyzed under Alex’s grasp. A loud, sadistic laugh jolted Jason and he awoke with a start.

He had been having erotic dreams about Veronica for months, but none had ever been so real. And none had ever turned into the horrendous nightmare that this one had. He adjusted his seat, wondering why it was unusually bright for so late at night, and winced as he felt around the slight puffiness of his eye with his fingers. He looked down at the clock. 5:30 a.m.

“Fuck!” he shouted, turning the car on. ‘Her plane leaves at 6.’ Jason sped off in the direction of the airport, hoping beyond reason that he could make it in time.

*Oh yeah. I\'ve got another story up and running but I\'m kinda stuck. Maybe because I\'m not getting any feedback. I think I might discontinue it. But if you get the chance, check it out and tell me what you think. It\'s in the Drama section, but I might switch it over to Romance. I dunno.
