Three elf’s, a microwave, and a small silver car.
Three elf’s, a microwave, and a small silver car.
Valdagerion was half tempted to ignore the girl’s worries; he could not hear or smell an intruder near by. However he looked at her apprehensive expression and ran his fingers over the new scar at his side from the last time he had ignored her instincts.
“Stay here, I will go.” He ordered.
But Mary laid a restraining hand on his arm. “No wait. I have been followed by MI7 agents, if they see you like this they will have a field day!”
“MI7?”
“They are a secret government agency who investigate aliens….” As she pulled on a short terry cloth robe Mary continued with her description, with unfamiliar words like X files, and area 51 but she stopped realising that none of this meant much to the elf. “That was all globbaldy gook to you wasn’t it?”
“I have no idea what that is; but if you meant that I did not understand why I should be concerned by this M. I. 7, then yes.”
Mary ruffled her hair in frustration. “Ok, let’s just say if they get hold of you only bad things will happen. They will probably capture us. And have you on a table cutting you open to look at your organs before you can say E.T.”
“This M.I.7 can try.” Valdagerion sneered. In fact for the distress that they had caused Mary he would welcome the chance to pay them back.
Mary was ahead of him on that thought, pulling at his hand. “Oh Val, what’s a confrontation going to archive anyway? I thought that you elf’s didn’t want human’s in general to know all about you. Even if it’s just Jody how am I supposed to explain those ears?” She said as she tugged on one of them.
He let out a disgruntled sigh, Mary was right of course. “What did you mean by E.T anyway?”
“He’s an alien that came to earth like you.” Mary said against his lips before he kissed her softly; skin to skin, and distracted by his lips on hers, the woman’s memories about this M.I.7 were much easier to access when she was distracted.
“I feel slightly offended by the comparison with that sickly grey thing.” Valdagerion said with great dignity. “You human are certainly have some strange ideas about extraterrestrials. No wonder your M.I.7 think they easily capture us if all they think us pitiful creatures like that.”
“More like they are worried about you being like Predator.”
“Predator?” Another strange word.
“Oh, it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that they could cause a lot of trouble for you.” Mary stated shoving at his broad chest. “Likely hood its only Jody anyway. But even if it is we are going to have to hide you so don’t come out until I give you the all clear.”
“Fine, but if you run in to trouble then we will do things my way. I will not let you risk your self.”
“Ok.” Mary gave his ear a quick rub. He was hard pressed not to purr, there was simply nothing better then a good ear rubbing. She then slipped very quietly from the room.
The Rhi’Arran watched tensely as his human female crept down the corridor, keeping to the edge. She peeped in to her companion’s room, before disappearing through a shadowy archway and out of sight. His heart was in his mouth as time seemed to slow in the dark.
There was a sudden small frightened exclamation from the young woman, and the elf sprung in to action coming down the corridor at a blinding speed with deadly intent.
He slid to a halt, fangs born. The darkened room brightened suddenly the primitive electricals flaring alight as his charge built in wroth. Besides him was a blinding flash of light as something besides him burnt out in a shower of bright particles with a loud snap and crackle.
“Val it’s ok!” Mary exclaimed as he caught hold of her, pinning her safely against the wall. “Oh god’s, the microwave, what on earth have you done to it?”
When the light and the smoke faded he was given to pause at the scene before him. Rillian was lent up against the opposite wall, and Darrah was just climbing through the open window. “Rhi’ Valdagerion you certainly know how to make an entrance!”
He relaxed immediately. “Oh, you’re here. I was not expecting you. ”
“Evidently. You forgot to stay in contact.” Rillian stated. “I expect you had other things on your mind.” He smiled slightly at Mary who was now flushing right to her roots. “We have been trying to get hold of you on your communicator for the last hour. When you didn’t answer we thought we had better check that nothing untoward had happened. From what Darrah has discovered our presence has not gone entirely unnoticed on this planet. Lingering for too long where they can find us would be unwise.”
“Yes, Mary has said that she fears as much.” Val said, as the aforementioned female shoved him off her. He only smiled slightly and walked towards his companions.
“Jesus Val, cover up!” Mary exclaimed wide eyed.
Valdagerion looked down at his naked body unperturbed; it’s not as if Darrah or Rillian had not seen it before. “They don’t mind.”
Both elf’s shrugged nonchalantly, obviously not botherd by their leaders naked state.
“It’s not the point.” The woman said exasperated. He loved how when Mary got mad she switched between her own human language and Quetta. “You can’t just carry on a conversation in a kitchen butt naked. It’s not hygienic to start with. There’s another robe in the bath room.”
“Bathroom?”
“Bathroom. Iol’laugua – The shower. Where we just…. you know bathed.” She explained, blushing again.
He held her hand and kissed the knuckle. {More then bathed.} If she could have gone any more red, she did.
Valdagerion then turned and walked back down the hall laughing. “Shameless elf.” He heard Mary grumble. “Ron le oras lalai Ri’Rilian, le mien godel amn!” {Don’t you dare laugh Rillian, it only encourages him!}
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This had to be the most surreal moment of her entire life Mary thought as she boiled the kettle. There were three elf’s from space in her kitchen, and she was about to make them a breakfast of crumpets and earl gray tea. Did elf’s even eat crumpets? She supposed they were just going to have to as apart from a few wetabix there wasn’t anything else. Mary glanced at the wall clock. It was only half seven and she just wanted to go back to bed and lay her weary body down. Gods, she really needed a cup of tea. Thank god Val hadn’t fried the kettle like he had microwave with his light show tantrum.
“How am I going to explain this to Jody.” She said to herself, looking at the ruined microwave. “I suppose I’m just going to have to say that I zapped something with tin foil.”
The question was why had Val the prince of an alien race come all this way to find her? It was after all a very long way to come for a booty call; even if it had been earth-shatteringly good.
It was not the only question on her sleep deprived mind. How exactly did intergalactic long distance relationships work? Could it work? He was going to live for centruys, and she was going to grow old long before him. Was she willing to go back with him to live on his world? Was he going to stay here with her? If he was then how on earth were they going to hide those ears? What about M.I.7 or other government agencies? And now what were they going to do?
She had the answer to one question, first thing she was going to do was get a cup of tea. Mary was far to tired to make any kind of life altering decision without some serious caffeine input.
Kettle boiled, she made up a few mugs of tea, taking a long sip of her’s before turning to face the problems at hand; three very large problems. She considered the elf’s over her rim of her mug.
Darrah was busy pawing through her cupboards sat at the kitchen table in his full armour space suit that looked straight out of a sci-fi fantasy film, right down to the big shoulder plates. The dark haired elf, looking at the various cans and jars with more curiosity then tin’s of beans, packet noodles, and jars of jam ever merited, asking her a new question before she even had a change to answer the last one.
Stood by the table Rillian’s ethereally hansom face was inscrutable as always, but his eyes were watchful, having placed himself where he could observe all the entrances to the room. Val even sat down was much the same – calling them edgy was perhaps a miss description, ready for anything was closer to the elf’s postures. Even the pink leopard print robe that Val had borrowed did nothing to soften the hard lines of the elvish warrior. Yes, it might have looked funny, but even fluffy could not male Val anything less then dangerous. It was like having two bodyguards. Mary should have felt safer, but their heightened awareness just made her feel tense.
She passed them both a mug of tea, before sliding them over a plate of crumpets. “I thought that you might be hungry.” Mary explained. Rillian looked at them dubiously making no move to sit. The young woman ran her hands through her hair. “Please, just sit and relax. You two are making me feel like something is going to happen.”
Mary watched Val and Rillain exchange glances, before Rillain sat down and joined Val at the table. Darrah sat down after inspecting the toaster, and then tucking in to the crumpets with enthusiasm, asking yet more questions. The young woman almost laughed at the mildly disdainful expressions on Val’s and Rillian’s faces as they chewed the crumpets slowly.
“Is something wrong?” Mary asked Val when frowned, and tried to clean his teeth with his tongue. “Don’t you like them? I’m sorry I don’t have anything else. I was not exactly expecting company.”
“The food is... adequate. Thank you.” Rillian replied politely, but with brutal honesty.
Val looked mildly panicked, sending another glance at Rillian. “It tastes pleasant. The texture is …peculiar. But it is quite edible.”
Mary smiled. Val was obviously not keen, but did not want to offend her when she had gone to the effort of providing for him. Well that was fine, she owned him after he had given her pickled bug guts to eat. But when he coughed over a mouthful, she took pity on him. “The tea will help wash them down. I will try and find some fruit for you.”
“Yes. I like the tea was it?” Val said brightening.
She found a bunch of banana’s, some apples, two tangerines, and a packet of yogurts. The elf’s ate these with relish, and Mary relaxed her hostess duties done. Rillian began speaking, he was talking too quickly to understand everything he said, but Mary recognised his business face and waited for Val to translate for her.
“Rillian wants to know what else you know about those who would hunt us. Apparently there was someone in the building opposite watching, but Rillian has managed to disrupt all their equipment.” Mary’s panic must have shown, because Val took her hand. “Do not fear Mary, we will protect you.”
“It’s not me who I am afraid for.” Mary replied. Val’s mouth softened in to a slight smile, and he repeated what Mary had told him about MI7. When he told them about Mary’s rooftop getaway Rillian looked at her with an approving expression. “So what now?” Mary asked when he finished.
“We should kill the human MI7 person downstairs, and then get back to the ship.” Val said crossing his arms.
“No!” Mary exclaimed. “No killing. Louis might be MI7, but he’s not done anything that he deserved to be killed for.”
Val was about to argue his point when Rillian jumped in. “The human is right, killing would draw to much attention right now. It would also be unwise to return to the ship straight away. Darrah has discovered that there are human’s searching for the ship, they are combing the area close to where it landed and are suspicious of all who enter. It’s too risky to go back for the time being.
"So you guys are stuck for now."
"Yes. At least until we know their capabilities. Do not be offended, but Mary seems to know little of tactical use about them.”
“No offence taken.” Mary replied. “But you can’t stay here either, you will be found.”
“You have something else in mind?”
“My parents place is in the countryside, it’s out of the way. Only one road in, we could see them coming.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mary was somewhat pleased that her plan had met with the militant elf’s approval. She had thought it over the night before as she fell asleep, and as haphazard as it was it was the best that she could come up with. It was good to know that the elf’s could not come up with anything better. Besides it gave her more time to decide what to do.
“The clothes you wore last night, they are still good aren’t they?” Mary asked as Val came in to the room.
“You human’s ware so many garments.” The elf lamented watching Mary dress but made no move to retrieve his clothing still strewn across the floor.
“Well its cold out.” Mary replied, wriggling in to her jeans sparing him a quick glance. “Come on we have to get a move on.”
“I prefer you unrobed, I want you naked always.” He was pulling up her strappy top as she was putting it on over her head. Attacking the back of her neck with lips and teeth as his hands roamed up her waist. “Every time you cover up an inch of your beautiful skin I mourn the loss of it, like we miss the sun as night falls.”
Mary tried to shove him off playfully, trying to be annoyed. “That was the most shovanistic thing that I have ever heard, and the corniest.”
“I mean it.”
“I know.” Mary laughed, and elbowed him in the gut – not that it hurt him she noticed, he had abbs of steal. “But just because you want to keep me naked the whole time it doesn’t mean you’re going to get it.”
“I always get what I want.” He replied. His hand going to her jeans button, popping it open, before sliding the zip down. “Take them off.”
Mary caught hold of his mischievous digits. “Hold it Casanova. We have to go get a move on, let me finish dressing.”
The elf was undeterred, he caught hold of her hands and drew them behind her back, holding them secure at the small of her back with just one hand. “Ha, I have you now.” He laughed triumphantly. With his free hand he tugged her waist band down.
“Val come on we don’t have time.”
“We will make time.” Val murmured, already slowly kneeling down as he jerked the blue fabric down her legs. His hand stroked back up her thigh, as he rubbed his smooth cheek against the firm flesh of her rear. “Such rough fabric has no right to touch your delicate skin.”
“Delicate as the rest of me.” Mary said dourly, as intrigued as Mary was as to what the elf intended she was still a little sore from the night before, she was tired, and the longer they stayed here the more chance of their discovery. “Oh Val do be serious.” She wriggled against his restraint knowing that even one handed the male elf had no trouble holding her whatsoever. She was at his mercy, and secretly it turned her on.
The elf gave her bum cheek a quick nip with his sharp teeth, making Mary yelp. “I am being serious.” He replied from behind her, kissing the sting away. “Very serious.”
The elf pulled on her crossed wrists, forcing Mary to spin around to face the kneeling male who steadied her with a hand on her hip. Mary looked down. Val looked like a fairy knight errant, a naked knight errant for he was clothed in nothing but the pale golden silk of his hair. Once again she was struck by how severely handsome he was with his cat like silver eyes gazing up at her with fierce adoration. Mary was suddenly reminded of a picture by the Victorian painter Edmund Leighton, of a knight at a lady’s feet as she dubbed him with a sword. A tremor went through her, who would have thought that old fashioned romance was not dead, but you had to travel some forty light years from earth to find it. It made her feel powerful, to be worshiped by this strong warrior. But unlike the cool distance of courtly love, Mary would feel his full passion. And as for that momentary power she felt, well the illusion was dispelled; for her hands restrained behind her back, and Mary was well aware just who had the ‘sword’ in this relationship, as well as what use it was to be put.
Val began nuzzling at her belly, kissing around her naval as he pulled her jeans further down her legs. His lips moved lower as he pulled her knickers down with the help of his one hand.
Mary realised what he intended, and her legs began to tremble as he kissed along her bikini line. “But Val, what about Rillian and Darrah?”
“Linbhen.” Val replied, the elvish equivalent for ‘So what?” It was one of Val’s favourite sayings. His expression clearly read that he knew that he was offering her something she was not going to refuse. To highlight this point, he let go of her hands and took a strong hold of her hips, opening her legs slightly.
“The door’s open, they will hear us if we…” Mary found herself suddenly bashful as she too often did when faced with the shameless actions of her elf lover.
Valdagerion gave her a slow wicked smile. “Then you had best be quiet Mary.”
He kissed her petals leisurely.
“They will…” Mary gasped. “..be wondering what we are up to!”
The elf’s chuckle vibrated against her. “Lehd rhocn em mae ronquham qu’lau.” ‘They would be surprised were we not.’ His hot breath washing over the centre of her as he spoke, causing a delicious tingle.“Siena; e le pera avari’lau?” ‘Now if you have no more protests?’
Mary couldn’t think of any. But it was slightly unfair as Val was going to work with gusto with his very talented tongue. Like the time that Mary had ridden that unicorn over a cliff with Val, all she could do was hold on. She buried her hands in his hair, and clung on, and tried not to fall over her legs suddenly week. Val discovering her difficulties, supported her with his strong arms, until she felt a little like an umbrella in an stand. He licked her with consummate skill, as if he knew exactly what spot would drive her mad. One of his hand’s dug in to her rear, kneading hard and gentle by turns. Mary’s realise built with inevitability. A small flame catching light to her whole body, slowly licking at her at first as fires do, warming her limbs until it suddenly catches and the whole of her body was blazing.
It was so good she almost forgot to be quiet!
Collapsing as the rush of her orgasm curling through her like smoke Mary found herself on the floor. Val had wasted no time, and was now on top of her, pinning her one leg up to her shoulder before surging in to her still convulsing channel. He struggled for a moment to get his thick length in to her tightened passage, having to force his way with short jabs that had Mary gaping anew. Oh it hurt, it stretched, and it filled her with an unknowable sort of joy. Alive, feeling. Mary wanted Val wild in her arms, wanted him to take what he wanted, wanted him to want her that much.
He took her on the floor, heedless of carpet burns. He was not violent, or rough. But it was a joining designed to bring completion as swiftly as possible. Val’s pants turned to soft moans that he stifled in her shoulder. Mary whimpered when he bit down to stifle his cry of ecstasy that almost sounded like he was in pain.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Valdagerion’s body went limp, as he lay on the young woman beneath him waiting for the pleasure to fade. Mary gave his neck a nipping kiss that made him shiver, before he lifted his head, and kissed her thoroughly but before he could work himself up again, she shoved him off. “Come on you nymphomaniac, now we really do have to go.”
“Nymphomanic?” He repeated as he rolled on to his back with a satisfied sigh.
“Oh, it doesn’t matter.” The young woman laughed but he did not miss the way that Mary’s eye’s raked over his naked body with warm appreciation.
The warrior watched Mary dress. He hadn’t been able keep his eyes off her in the golden light of dawn, he had to touch her, she made him forget everything. Suddenly his head was covered with fabric as Mary threw his clothes at him. “Hey, stop perving and get dressed.”
The trouser garments were tighter then he was used to, and he had to carefully arrange himself. The shirt was missing a few buttons from when he had all but ripped it off in haste the night before but he could do up the bottom ones. At least he liked the dark blue colour. Mary was dressed and had gone in to the bathroom by the time he had finished.
He followed her through in time to see her eating some small white objects that came from a small bottle. “What are those?”
Mary took a swig of water. “Medicine. I have a headache.”
Valdagerion suddenly remembered why he had made such haste to find Mary, his gut twiated in concern. “How long have you been having them?” He demanded more harshly then he had intended.
“Val, its nothing.” She pleaded. “Don’t get all overbearing male on me now, I’m to tired to deal with it. I don’t want to fight, not with all this crap to deal with. We have bigger problems then my headaches right now. ”
In the mirror he caught her reflection, in the artificial light she looked worn, and fragile. He had not noticed before, but she looked thinner. How could he tell her now that she could have been posioned by the very things that they had given her to save her life. He wrapped her up in his arms pulling her to rest against the warmth of his body. “I have caused a great deal of trouble for you my love, for that I am sorry.”
He felt her take a deep breath. “No, don’t. We are in trouble, more trouble then I ever imagined. But truth is I would rather be in danger with you Val, then live without you.”
Valdagerion felt his heart swell with relief at her words. “And I you.”
“Well you did come half way across the universe to see me.” Mary laughed, she turned and faced him. Mary had an interesting arrested expression on her face when she looked at him. He raised a brow in inquiry.
“In jenes and that shirt, you just look so…”
He smiled, and kissed her.
“Rhi’ Valdagerion?” Darrah called interrupting them. “Ah, I thought that I heard your voice in here. Is this the bathing chamber you told me about, how remarkable do you mind if I look around?”
Mary laughed. “Feel free.”
Rillian appeared in the corridor, impatient. “The longer we delay, the more likely we are to be discovered.”
“Ok, lets go.” Mary nodded. “Oh wait a moment.” She scurried back in to her room, and returned with another garment handing it to him.
He held up the warm looking garment, it even had a hood. “What is this?”
“A hoddie. You can’t go around half undressed.”
Valdagerion looked down at his clothes. “But I’m dressed. Anything offensive is covered. It’s only my torso.”
“Val, with your particular chest and abs your going to draw a lot of attention. Plus with that hood you can cover up your ears.”
They made there way down to what Mary called her “car.” Rillian’s and Darrah’s disruption disks protecting them from casual scrutiny. All three elf’s senses seeking out any who might be watching for them. Mary unlocked a small silver box on wheels. “Here we go.” She said.
Valdagerion glanced at Rillian who looked as horrified as he felt. There was no way that they were going to fit in to that little crate. Only Darrah looked thrilled at the prospect.
“How far did you say we were going?” Rillian asked.
“It’s about an hour away.” Mary answered putting her bags in the car blithely oblivious of the elf’s discomfort.
An hour in that?
Nether the less they clambered in; Rillian and Darrah filling the back seat, their knees pressed up, and having to duck their heads the suspension giving an ominous groan. Valdagerion gingerly eased himself on to the front seat, as Mary hoped in.
The car started, and the carbon fuel engine rattled and chugged. Mary pulled on a leaver, and operated peddles at her feet, soon they were moved expertly down the human thoroughfare joining other vehicles. It was loud on their elvish hearing, and smelly too though not unbearably unpleasant, cramped, and hot after a while. Valdagerion was used to travailing the vastness of space, of open waterways, not these crowded roads. Besides that the metal that was to protect them from the other vehicles was a thin barrier, it was no wonder Mary was so fearless if she had to live with this very day.
Valdagerion felt Rillain in his mind. “I think I preferred the frozen container.”
Valdagerion thought that he agreed.
