Chapter 2

Chapter 2

She began to move her eyes opens, though they were trying to stay close. At first she couldn't see everything was too blurry and the pain from the back of her head started to affect her. It was then her ears picked up on a bunch of voices, mostly male. As her senses kicked in, her body was on soft material. Not like a bed but a body. And hands on her forehead, finally, everything was acting right and she sat straight up, looking around she saw her father and grandfather talking to Him. Only a few archangels were around the rest had left. Now she was wondering who was holding her, she looked up to meet a pair of dark chocolate brown eyes.

"Hello." The woman said. Kiram turned around; both girls were on the ground. Though they were no longer at the gate but a rather large entrance hall, the room she was in was beyond anything she could imagine. The walls were pure marble and had gold almost carved in it, the lighting was practically crystal. It seemed like a giant foyer. But she wasn't certain.

"We had to come in His place after you fainted." Another voice said, this time a gentle male one.

Kiram looked to the left and it was Raphael, he kneel next to her, he had the most beautiful gem green eyes she'd ever saw. "I fainted?" She asked them, as they all stood.

Mary was similar to her height, so it was nice having at least someone else as short as her. They all looked in the direction of the conversation.

"Yes, right after Father gave the news-"

"Hmm..." She interrupted Raphael.

Raphael kept his gazed on them. "I do not think you have a say, in the matter." Raphael explained.

Kiram didn't say anything, but she was angry. She never liked it when others tried to make choices for her.

The angel picked up on her emotion and finally stared at the young woman who seems liked she was ready to kill. "Well, I assure you, there is a reasonable explanation for this, Kiram."

"Like. What." She spoke.

Not being able come up with answer, he stayed quiet. "That's what I thought." Kiram said then walked away.

"Raphael, this is going to be interesting is It not?" Mary said.

Raphael didn't answered Mary. I don't see the reason, pairing those two? His green eyes watched as Kiram approached them. Something is-

"Raphael?"

"Hm? Oh...yes, what ever you said, Mary." Raphael blurted out.

Mary, confused shrugged her shoulders and kept silent.

"I do not want her with him, there has to be another way of doing this!"

"You ask if I would take her, and I have." He was telling Damien.

"I asked you to let her live here, not to marry her off!"

"I know what I am doing, Damien." God said.

"Then fill me in! Please!"

God was quiet, and shook his head. "You do not need to know, yet."

Damien clenched his fist, " don't need to know! I'M her parent! I am suppose to know everything that is going on with her!"

"If you did, Damien, we would not be standing here today," He sighed, "In fact everything would be a lot different. When the time comes you will know."

It was one thing of moving her here, but making her be with someone else, when she was already in a relationship. He is God, He should know that! She saw Michael standing next to her dad, Michael caught a glimpse of her; she was angry and kept on fixing the end of her dress so it didn't rise up too far. Michael huffed and turned his body towards Kiram. When she was close enough he put his right hand on her shoulder. "Kiram...I-" He started.

She looked at him. "Don't. Touch. Me." She spoke in a low tone.

Suddenly everyone was quiet when she came even closer to them, letting the head archangel's hand fall from her body. "Oh, don't worry. I'm fine…really, I am." She continued till she was next to her dad. Michael was behind her.

"Don't think about what I want, just go ahead and sentence me to my untimely death. Who cares! Right?" It was then she turned to Michael, she gave a harmless smile. "Besides, it's always nice, "she started and tip toed up and placed her finger tips on his left cheek. "Nice to look at someone, in their eyes and just see a part of them die..." She laughed. "There it goes…bye bye, life." She let go of him and left the room still laughing.

"You have a interesting daughter…." God spoke as he watched her leave.

Michael was speechless; but could he blame. The archangel wonder if this was only a front because her father was here, or maybe—letting out a sigh, Michael did not want to think about it, for now.

"That's Kir for ya…." Her father said. Nothing surprised him at this point. Damien started to walk out the place, realizing it was useless to change God's mind.

"Is there anything we should know about her, Lucifer?" Raphael asked his ex-brother.

Lucifer looked at him and just smile, though it was an uneasy one, he could guess what hell would befall in this peaceful place. "You will just have to wait and see, Michael I'd be careful, and Kiram isn't much of a 'gentle girl'. More on the side of ..." Lucifer let out a laugh. This was gonna be all to fun for him. Lucifer could not ask for a better revenge than to have his hell-raiser-anger-problem-trigger-happy-granddaughter live here, and better yet become the wife of the most glorious archangel here. He did not want to spoil it. Lucifer went to catch up with his son, who by now is either gone or looking for Kiram. No one notice that another person had left right after Kiram.

"Excuse me!" A young woman shouted.

She turned around and saw the curly-hair 20-something year-old woman running to her. Stopping she waited for this person to catch up. When she finally did, she grabbed her hand. "You're not leaving are you?" She asked.

She raised an eyebrow. "No...no, but I could have sworn you were listening to the exact same non-sense they were talking 'about', so running to me asking if I was leaving was pretty pointless on your part and now I'm gonna take this time to admire your silence , not only that but so you can think of how much of a idiot you truly are and perhaps after this particular conversation you will definitely know to never come to me with questions like that…or maybe I don't have to hear your unusual high pitched voice again."

All she could do was give her the most amazed and awe look. "I am Mary!"

Kiram was stunned and took her hand away. "Don't touch me, the only thing worse than marrying perhaps the biggest…how should I put this…idiot…would be contact with humans, not just any but the ones here."

"You're so different from anyone else I have met before. " Mary exclaimed with much excitement. "May I be the first to be your friend?"

"No!"

She giggled happily and grabbed her hand again dragging her towards the lower levels. "I want you to meet someone, very close to me!" She said.

"Did you not just hear a single word I said?" She shouted, pretty annoyed. "Jesus!"

She stopped. "How did you know!" She asked.

Kiram confused, ignored her question and was still being dragged by this bubbly girl.

"Marriage! For you, this is the biggest thing to happen around here than…when the humans started coming." Gabriel said.

By now, Michael was talking with his brothers; Gabriel, Uriel, Azrael, and Camuel. He sat on the edge of the river flowing downstream; Azrael was sitting under the nearby tree. Uriel and Camuel were on Michael's right side and Gabriel was on his left. His feet were in the water as he just watched his reflection.

"When is it?" Camuel said, he had a very masculine but feminine voice, he was shocked as well but his face always remained calm and at ease.

Michael scoffed. "Who knows, Father told me He wanted to wait till 'she' was ready." Answered the dark haired angel.

Uriel noticed his older brother's expression. "Why are you not happy, this should be a happy day? You know, regardless of the situation."

"So, I should be happy that we are entering a marriage not by choice?"

"Father wouldn't have done this, if it was not suppose to happen." Uriel was saying.

"We should start planning for it, anyway. The very first union between an archangel and..." Camuel paused.

"And what?" Uriel asked.

"I am not sure what she is..." Camuel said.

"That's easy she's..." Uriel stop. "Well she is defiantly has Lucifer's blood in her, and he was one of us...sooo..."

"Actually, Uriel, Lucifer is still an archangel, just fallen...so that would make Kiram techinally one of us?" Arazel said.

"...So does that make it incest?" Camuel yelled.

None of them said a word, which made Camuel uneasy..."I hate it when no one talks."

"I think we are looking waay to deep into this, she wasn't created, she was birth. Annyway, what do you think Gabriel?" Uriel asked.

Gabriel grinned at his brother, "I find it interesting that the only thing you dislike about this, is the idea of being force in a marriage." Clearly he did not hear a word of what was recently said.

"And?"

Gabriel ruffled his golden curls as he came closer to his point. "Well, why aren't you upset at the fact that it's Kiram? I mean, if it were me. I would wanna know why, Father would put me with an ex-brother's granddaughter...unless."

The others were actually interested in Gabriels' point. They kept their eyes on Michael, who had stiffen up and his face turned a slight red.

"Unless?" Uriel asked.

Gabe turned to his brother, "Well, unless there is something we don't know about. I mean remember when she used to cling to him like a lost puppy?"

"Yea..." the three answered in unison.

"Did you ever wonder why. I think Michael L-I-K-E-S her." Gabe leaned down and wrapped his arms around Michael. "In fact, I think the reason she was so clingy back then was cause he F-U-"

Michael threw his younger brother in the water to shut him up. "Don't dare assume anything, Gabriel. It is only because times has changed. You can't force women into marriages like you could years ago. Kir is also not even a full Angel, did you ever think she doesn't even want to live here?" Michael breathe, "besides you saw how she was, just like Damien and Lucifer, but worst."

He didn't say anything else; they all knew that even though Kiram was half angelic, her other half still had Lucifer's blood running through her. The half that wanted to take over Heaven but force, that wanted Michael to join him in the Rebellion, and also to bow to him. Michael would never bow to Lucifer, he had to defend his rights; thus the Holy War.

"She isn't all that bad, Michael." Said the quiet voice.

Michael turned his body half way, to face Azrael. He was quiet most of the time and kept to himself. His voice was soft and pretty gentle.

"From what I saw…how is she not 'that bad'?" He asked.

Azrael's black eyes watched his brother but then his attention went back to the book he held in his hands. "Once you get the know her, she is decent. Isn't that right, brother?."

Michael sat there, only listening. "I just-"

Azrael peeked up. "I am not assuming anything, but face it. You did talk to her, you spent time with her. You did, Michael. Perhaps your own brothers do not know, but Father sure does."

Michael stood up and walked the few inches to him. "Has Father spoke to you about anything?" He asked.

His blue eyes were met with the angel's black ones. Azrael was not the one to get information from, but only he has actually talked to Father before he was sent to get Kiram. "Nothing I say would help…" That was all he said before getting up from the soft bright emerald green grass and leaving.

The oldest brother watched him leave and turned around. Gabriel was getting out of the water and laughing. "Maybe it should be you marrying this girl!" Michael said.

Gabriel stopped and crossed his arms across his broad chest. "Well you are the one Father favors most, the one who in the end threw out the most evil being alive. I believe He was fair in His judgment to pick you, besides I don't do sloppy sec-"

Michael swiftly went towards him, the archangel was going to punch Gabriel but instead he stormed off. This angel had no time for Gabriels' jokes.

Gabriel looked at the younger brothers. Uriel's soft orange eyes and Camuel's dark violet eyes were both on him. "What?"

"You think it's wise? This whole arrangement?" Camuel asked.

"How the hell should I know? But Michael can't hide it... aside from what he's saying. He likes it." Gabriel nodded, very sure of himself.

Camuel was right to wonder, none of them knew a thing about her, and how she was raised. Nothing. Uriel got up and left. "I'm going to go get a peek at our new sister." He said out of the blue.

Uriel nodded and did the same. "Good luck with your 'theory', Gabe."

Gabriel was left there, listening to the water running. The wind blew and as a result his wet golden-hair was being lifted. He knew he was right. The Messenger was right then and he was right about this too.

0*-*-*-*-*-*0

The day went by pretty fast. Kiram was talking to Mary and Jesus. They were telling her about everything here. Michael was once again training this time with Zadikel and Sandalphon. Damien was getting use to his daughter gone and he was going to take full advantage of it.

After his first wife, Damien never remarried for Kiram's sake. Assuming that a new woman would ruin her, teach the wrong things, make her helpless[useless in other words]. After Damien did come out of his depression, he wanted his daughter to be strong, like him. Pretty much raising Kiram like a boy-because that's all he knew- teaching her male things. Lucifer even helped out a few times, teaching her to play the piano when she was five. Lucifer attempted to teach her the female things but it became all too weird. Celebrating the human holidays with her. Which was all fun and games until she was coming of age and things changed.

Mary had left a few moments ago. Leaving the new girl and the holy son alone, Kiram was sitting down with her knees to her chest, and Jesus was lying down on the ground staring in the darkening sky with glittering diamond like stars.

"Why the change? Grandpa always told me that God would not allow it. So why me?" She asked.

He looked over to his left, the fact was really bothering her. "Don't worry; Father has His reasons. He always does."

"Like when you had to die?" She blurted.

Jesus looked over at her, "That is one example, yes...though it wouldn't hurt to mention other things instead of my time on Earth..." He tried not to sound frustrated. "But, He does not do things unless good things happen." Kiram opened her mouth, "please do not mention all the things on Earth! My Father has a plan for it all!" He stopped her. " As I was saying, Kiram, if He sees something with you and Michael being together, then I wouldn't worry. I don't see why you're concern though, didn't you lose your vir-"

"WHAT! I DUNNO WHAT YOU MEAN! I'M SORRY BUT I SEEM TO HAVE SOMETHING IN MY EAR!" She shouted. Kirs' face turned a bright red.

"You can't lie to me Kiram, I know just as much as my Father."

"I am not lying, I did not have sex with anyone..."

"Really?" Jesus sat up, grinning at her. "Well, I never had personal experience so what was it like, making love for the first time?"

Kiram had spaced out ages ago, "Oh...it was so nice, much better than I expected with Miiii...arrggghhhhhh"

The Holy Son had a very gentle voice, it made you want to tell every little, dirty secret you had to him and you knew he was not one to judge. His golden eyes seem to look right through and saw how you really are. You didn't feel like trash around him, being with Gods' Son, it was a very surreal moment,

She angrily stood up. Jesus looked at her as she gazed downward. Kiram shook her head, grabbing her long straight hair. "You can't make me confine in you! " She said and left.

Jesus laughed and decided it was also time to go inside. "aahh, she's fun, like Damien."

As she walked, she was thinking. If I have to do this crap, then it might as well go my way. These So-called holy, or whatever you wanna call these fucking assholes, should know I'm not like these other women, I'm not gonna roll over when they tell me! Her fist balled up, now Kir was walking fiercer. After a while she slowed down, and then stop walking completely. She fell to her knees and was just there in awe. Why…why does he want me here? It's clear I could never fit in. What's the point, shouldn't my future be up to me? Not three random guys deciding as if I don't have a brain of my own, dammit! "I'm not ready for this…I'll never be ready…"She spoke in a deeply low tone. Kiram was only strong in so many ways, and emotionally was not one of them.

She got her body half way up before she saw a hand in her face. Almost dumbfounded she was staring into his eyes. Quickly she erased all emotion from her face and shooed his hand away. Kiram dusted herself off and walked past him, only to be grabbed by her arm. He pulled her back to face him.

"Would you like to say something?" He asked.

Being stubborn she just looked away. "No, Michael…" Kiram kept her eyes away from his, though as a female, she could not help but notice his clothing; which were a white and from the looks of it silky outfit that stop at his calves. Of course to her, she did wondered why the guys would wear what look like dresses, but this is not her home. His outfit had a sky blue sash around his waist, and the shirt was ¾ sleeves. She could clearly see the definition in his forearms. The neckline was the typical round kind but showed off his neck and collarbone. When she did want to see his face, all she could do was try to keep her mouth close. He was indeed a very handsome man, er, angel to be correct. Eyes so perfectly blue any woman, human at least, would love to get lost in them. He also had somewhat of a round-but strong-jaw line but it fit his face just right, his hair was black with what seemed like a dark blue tints in it, it touch his broad shoulders so elegantly, it was ridiculous. Kiram had to admit to herself that if she wasn't so upset by this, she'd find him attractive; it was enough to make her blush. Never would she have thought, after all this time she would feel like this again.

"What are you looking at?" Michael asked.

"How much I would love for you to take me right here…" She whispered.

"Excuse me!" Michael questioned as his brows were raised.

She gathered her thoughts quickly and looked around. "N-n-nothing!" She yelled. "What do you want?" She finally asked.

"I was just looking for you…"He answered genuinely concern.

Still holding her arm, they started walking. "You need to change the way you dress." Michael started.

"What's wrong with it?" She used her right hand to pull back her sliver-blue strands off her neck and shoulder.

Michael glanced down. "Your dress, right now, is too much. None of the other females show off their body like you. You need to wear something that covers you…more" He told her though his eyes were still on her body, Michael eventually looked away.

"It's not my problem, and it does cover me. Just fine."

"Its 'just fine' if you're trying to parade yourself around here as some whore, than it is fine, I guess." He said with some wit to it.

"I'm not a whore at all" She defended.

"...that's not what your outfit is saying..."Michael muttered.

"Well...do you like it?"

"...ummm, what does my opinion matter on your dress?"

"Well, you know me well enough to know, I don't care about what others think of me...just of what you do."

Michael stayed quiet, she looked up at him. The archangel was biting his lip and looking ahead. They arrived at his home after walking for a few minutes. Once inside it was quite a relaxing environment, which it would have to be being Michael. Sitting her down on the surprising soft pastel blue couch, he went upstairs, it was then she looked around, it was pretty big and sophisticated. Everything was in place so carefully; satin white curtains dressed every window, soft ivory walls with light oak colored flooring. And the smell was like a fresh garden or something, she really couldn't place it. The lights were on the ceiling out of the way of everything. Simple plants were in the corners. Which is probably what she smelled when they walked in. These homes were similar to the ones on Earth, but each were custom for occupants particular taste of style and comfort.

Michael came back down and held a material in his arms. "Stand up" He commanded. Kiram stood up; straighten her dress since it came up while she was sitting. His blue eyes noticed this but dismissed her actions. Placing the material close, not against, her body to see if it went well with her. It was a light pink one strap dress, that didn't hug her body too tight, but enough. It looked as if it would stop at her ankles. It didn't show any cleavage like her strapless black dress, it obviously didn't put the attention on her.

"What is this for? Actually, why do you have a dress in here anyway?" Kiram asked.

Michael put it in her hands and decided to sit down. On the right side of the seat was his sword, which was placed there sometime earlier. Michael actually relaxed and closed his eyes. "Tomorrow, unless your father forgot to mention, we celebrate our Father for the day. It happens every Sunday." He told her.

Kiram just stood there, then she sat down next to him, outfit still in hand. "Do I have to be there? I mean I don't do that kinda thing so it might be best if I left…to be with my friends!"

"No, until the week is up you cannot leave." He didn't even look at her. "Besides you should be there…"

Kiram crossed her left leg over her right. "Why? And what's with the dress? Does someone like to cross dress?" Kiram asked, adding a sing-song voice.

"No, that's ridiculous. Are you implying you don't remember, Kir." Michael got up from the couch.

"Eh...I do." She spoke quietly.

It was awkward between for a while, "Well your mother loved it. And you can meet Sophitia and Alexander there as well." Michael explained.

"Who?" Kiram blinked her eyes as she looked up at him.

"You'll see, " Michael said to end tonights conversation, heading up to his room.

"Michael!" Kiram called.

The angel turned around, stopping before he hit the stairs. "Yes?"

She wanted to ask him something but the question never came out. "Where am I sleeping?" Something that slipped from her mouth.

"In the spare room..."

"Oh..." She tried not to sound disappointed, and why would she?

"G'night, Kiram."

Michael left to go to his room. Gathering up the dress again, Kiram waited a few minutes before going upstairs. "As if this wasn't complicated enough..." she whispered.

Once in his room Michael sat on the edge of his bed. Everything was gonna be different not only for him but everyone. He also could not help but notice that Kiram was actually in better physical shape than the women here. The angel remembers when she was a pre-teen, she was a bit chunky for her age, but still had very womanly curves. Now, that she grew up more, being an adult; and then dress, it was inappropriate- it also wasn't something he was use to seeing-compliment her figure greatly. Whenever she took a step during the walk the ends of the dress trailed upwards, as if to tease the unsuspecting male then downwards to quickly cover up the thigh it was going to reveal. The heel just made her legs look more sleek and longer than they really were. She had a very curvy body and try as he might to resist the fact, he wanted that woman with him now. This was too soon for anything like that to happen. Whose to say she even wants him in that way anymore?

He threw himself back and covered his face with both hands, dragging them downward, letting out a heavy breath. He wondered how getting through one week with her pretty much around was going to do. And would it interrupt his training but Michael had to think about tomorrow, it was unsure if it would go smoothly like it has for the past thousands of years. A few minutes of silence, then the sound of the door down the hall open and close.

"Father, what reason do you have for this..." Michael wondered.

The Chief Archangel got up and walked outside onto the balcony. After a day like this, who can possibly get any sleep?

Kiram put the dress in a chair that was near the window. She didn't turn on any lights; just the light of the amazing clear moon was enough. Her things were in the corner and she went through them, looking for her night clothes. When she found the one she wanted she slid off her dress and kicked her heels with her luggage. Kiram was completely naked except for her lace yellow panties with a pink trim. She took those off and put on the stretch lace chemise with a pink bow in the front. It was practically see through but she really didn't care. The clothes were hers and that's all that matters. Lying on the bed, which was again amazingly soft and comfy, Kiram twisted her thoughts. A whole week stuck here, not seeing any one she can talk to, she ran her fingers through the waist-length hair and began to braid it in a single braid.

This is going to kill me! She finished the braid and threw it to the side. Her mind snapped back to her thought earlier. "Of course, I remember that... I left it here a long time ago...that's probably why you have it..." Kiram looked over at the dress. "How could I forget...the first thing someone ever made for me..." Kiram became more sleepy by the second. She shouldn't let this happen, which is why she was avoiding Heaven altogether. Placing the blankets over her closed her eyes and hope she could make the best of it, starting with tomorrow. Just remember Kir, you have a boyfriend, named Stan. Who you were with last night! Remember that and everything will be fine. She told her self in a empowering voice.
