erica - ya talking to his rust bucket just proves how innocent our little Junko is lol but on to the interaction between Youji and Hoshi it was needed because in the original story Hoshi found all that info about Junko through other means but Co-Author Jen decided to go her own way with it but i liked it gave Hoshi a bit of an advantage to get his fair Junko

sarah - its ok mostly these names mean something to each of the characters the names were made a long time ago so they are close to my heart

romieluv - he doesnt really have a pimp but very very close Youji is a bit of a player himself

kylee - oh but being a flirt is fun he never loses it lol

anyway here is the next part!

Chapter 2

Youji watches the car race off before making his way to his front door. As he reaches for the handle, it swings open abruptly.

"Who was that? Was he your friend's dad? Is that his car? What does he do? Are you okay? Where did you go?" Junko fires of his questions like gunfire, obviously having been waiting for Youji to get home.

The twins were at Junko's feet looking up at him.

"Did he give you candy?" Hiroki asked as Kaouri smiled.

"Can we have some?!" The twins were at Junko's feet looking up at him.

Junko stood in the doorway, not allowing Youji any room to pass, finally prompting the boy to respong.

"Damn it, Junk-head, let me in!" Junko frowned.

"Who was he?" Youji rolled his eyes.

"Just a friend, and NO, he didn't give me candy!" he finished for the twins, squeezing past Junko and stomping up to his room.

The twins started to whimper and ran after him as Junko's watch starts to beep. Junko frowns down at his watch and swears a blue streak all the way to his room. He frantically changed his clothing, donning the hideous green and brown uniform for the pizzaria and gathering his long green hair in a tail at his nape.

"Fuck." he muttered to himself.

He could *not* be late today! He ran out the door with a quick

"Behave you three!" and banged to a sudden stop as Katrina's door refused to open. After several moments, he managed to coax it ajar just far emough to shimmy in and shove the keys in the ignition. As the engine coughed and made disturbingly wet sounds, Junko's heart sank. "No, no, baby. Not now. Please, come on, baby." he crooned at her, but it was no use.

The old truck gave a shuddery jerk, and was still. Junko dropped his forhead on the wheel and growled. The sound of a motor is heard behind him as Hoshi climbs out of his car. He sauntered slowly over to the window and knocked on it.

"Hey you need some help?" Junko glanced over to the man with a confused expression.

"Er. Do I know you?" Hoshi grins slightly.

"No but you look like you need some help. My car is right back there." He points to his lambo.

Junko blinked at the beautiful car for a moment.

"A...are you they guy who picked up Youji this morning?" Hoshi grins.

"Ya i did hes... a friend of mine. Come on you looked like you were in a hurry." Junko glances around, licking his lips for a second before pulling himself out of Katrina's window and trotting over to the car, not waiting for Hoshi.

Hoshi walks to his car and holds the door open for Junko holding out his hand. He gently took Junko's hand and helpped him into the car then climbed into the car. He backed up and sped off.

"So where to?"

"There's a little pizza place down on Third and Ash." Junko said as he buckled his seatbelt with a small blush.

Hoshi nodded and hit the gas sending them down the road at least 20 miles over the limit. Though he easily controled the fast car.

"So Youji said that you have 3 jobs?" Junko gripped the armrests, eyes darting from Hoshi to the road and back again.

"Er...yeah. I work down at the post office too sometimes. How- oh jeez." He squeezed his eyes shut as they took a quick turn and swallowed. "Er. Did you two talk about me?" Hoshi nods grinning.

"I asked him about you. You seem very... attractive." His eye roamed over Junko's body resting at the juntions between his legs.

Junko shifted uncomfortably.

"I...I'm not sure what you mean." He stared at the street passing under his window, his blush darkening and his hands flexing on the armrests.

Once at the pizza place he reaches over and opens the glove box. He pulls out an Iphone and holds it to Junko.

"Here take this my cell is on the speed dial. Give me a call after work so i can pick you up. I'll take care of your truck."

"My- you don't...My truck?" Junko looked at the phone, but didn't take it.

Hoshi continues to hold it to him.

"Go ahead... i have a better one myself." He leaned over so that he was only a few inches from Junko's face.

Junko gasped, unbuckling his belt and leaning against the car door. He scrabbleed for the handle, startled when it flipped up and yelping as he fell to the ground.

"O-oow..." Hoshi looks at him.

"You know you could hurt yourself if your not careful. Just give me a call. By the way my names Hoshi." Junko stood quickly, his face tomato red.

He grabbed the phone and mumbled a quick thank you before shuffling off, rubbing his lower back. Hoshi shuts the door and drives off. Junko watched him drive away from inside, biting his lip. Once the shift ended, Junko stared at the phone Hoshi had given him. He rolled his eyes at his own cowardice and checked the speed dial, hitting send on the only number there. The phone rings for a few seconds then Hoshi's voice is heard.

"Hey there Junko. Your done with work i presume?"

"I-...yeah. I'm finished. You said...you could come get me, right?" Junko glanced around nervously, unsure why the man on the phone had him so jumpy.

Hoshi chuckles.

"Alright then ill be there in a few minutes. Now are you hungry?"

"Am I-? Er. No. Yeah. M-maybe. Maybe." Junko rubbed his forehead with a sigh.

"See ya then." Hoshi hangs up as the air was warm but with the approtching fall it would be chilly in a few monthes.

Junko groaned as he hung up the phone.

"Idiot." he mumbled to himself.

He stepped outside, huddling into his coat and blowing steam into the air. His boss steps out of the parlour as he takes out a cigerette.

"Hey Jun... what are you doing out here where is that rust bucket of yours?" Junko smiled shyly at his boss.

"Katrina's not too happy today, so I got a ride from a-...a friend." His boss grins and rubs his beer belly.

"Uh huh is this "friend" a hot woman your shacking up with?"

"W-wha?! No! He's...my brother knows him." Junko's already wind-chapped cheeks reddened further, matching his nose.

The boss blinks.

"Wait your brother the tween? How does that little twerp know someone with a car?"

"He...er. He's friends with his little b-brother?" Junko stammered. "I think Youji told him about Katrina's temper." He gave a small, nervous laugh.

The boss raises an eyebrow as the lambo comes to a skidding halt. The door slides up as the boss's jaw drops.

"Holy shit! Er. Bye!" Junko said with an overbright smile as he opened the door to the exotic car and slid in, pulling it shut behind him. "Hi, let's go." He said without even looking at Hoshi, his nervous gaze still on his boss's incredulous face.

Hoshi shrugs and speeds off while there was no music going on in the car.

"So that was your boss."

"Yeah. He's nice, but...he's too interested in everyone's personal lives." Junko found himself saying without actually meaning to.

Hoshi chuckles and looks at him seeing the odd object in his pocket.

"What's in your jeans? Happy to see me?"

"W- no! I..it's a CD." He yanked the CD from his pocket.

Hoshi looks at it as he slightly glares at the CD with the younger version of himself with an angel and devil wing being torn from him.

"My sister recommended it." Junko said, as though trying to justify purchasing music.

He looked over the song titles, not recognizing the glaring and shirtless young man on the cover. Hoshi snorts.

"Your sister must be a love struck teeny bopper then." Junko shrugged self-consciously.

"I try to keep up with the kids. Some times are harder than others." He looked down at his hands, embarrassed at having spoken so freely to a virtual stranger.

"How old is your sister?" Hoshi continued to drive.

Junko gave a small laugh.

"She's six. And, yes. She fancies herself in love with any moderately famous boy between nine and nineteen." Hoshi snorts as he was 21 she was kidding herself.

"Your not wanting to listen to that are you?"

"I was, kind of, yeah. But it's your car." He fished the iPhone out of his pocket and held it out to Hoshi. "Here's this back, by the way. Before I forget." Hoshi pushes it back.

"It's yours. And you can put it on if you want." He knew that hearing his own voice would grate on every last nerve.

But this little hottie was something he wanted... badly. Junko smiled a bit.

"I can't take the phone. I couldn't afford to keep minutes on it." He sat the phone on the dashboard and quickly unwrapped the CD, slipping it into the slot and watching the display.

"The phone has unlimited minutes and talk on it so dont worry it's yours." The CD is taken in as the CD said that the first song was called Wake Up Call.

Junko blinked.

"Isn't that...very expensive? I couldn't..." Hoshi shakes his head.

"I have no problem with money." Junko took a deep breath, knowing Hoshi was trying to be helpful.

"While I appreciate that, I'd like to think I have not yet reached the point of needing charity from a practical stranger." His voice was brittle and he stared out of the window, his cheeks red with shame.

Hoshi ignores the sound of his own younger voice as he looks at Junko.

"Take it. Your brother said you needed it."

"My brother has overstepped his bounds." Junko bit out, too involved to even pay attention to the music.

Hoshi pulls up to a small resturant that a lot of kids from Junko's old high school hung out at.

"The phone is for you to keep in contact with your family." Junko opened his mouth to reply, but abruptly shut it.

He sighed.

"Fine. Thank you." He glanced around. "Why are we here?"

"You said you might be hungry." Hoshi gets out as he looks around.

Junko nods slowly.

"Yeah. I just...haven't been here in a long time." Hoshi nods and walks towards the doors and steps in.

He couldnt stand being around too many people. It came from being a hermit for the last 5 years.

"Pick a spot." Junko leapt from the car, skipping to keep up and flipping his long hair behind him.

"I...don't really care." He tried not to stare around, recognizing several people he'd rather not speak to.

Hoshi walks to a small booth away from everyone as he sat down. He took the time to drink in the gorgous look of this man. His porcelin skin was striking against his emerald green hair. Junko fiddled with his hair and kept his eyes on the table.

"So...what do you want to eat?" He snatched up one of the menus and looked over it unseeingly.

A waitress comes over obviously well endowed and making goo goo eyes at Hoshi. Though was put off when Hoshi didnt meet her eyes kept his eye on the target of his affection and lust.

"Just coffee for me and what ever he wants." Junko glanced up and had to do a double-take.

His eyes darted to Hoshi almost automatically to check his reaction, perversely pleased to notice the lack of interest there.

"Um. A double burger, mustard, no ketchup, and extra pickles." he mumbled to the table.

The waitress walks off with a huff as Hoshi grins.

"Well i say we start this date off with some conversation. Tell me Junko about yourself."

"D-d-date!?" Junko looked around quickly, leaning forward. "What are you talking about?" he asked in a fervent whisper.

Hoshi chuckles.

"Yes techinically two people who eat food together would be considered a date. Doesnt mean it has to be romantic." Junko blushed heavily.

"R-right. Yeah. Aren't...you hungry?"

"I already ate." In truth he was hungry.

Not nessassarily for food.

"So tell me about yourself." Junko shrugged, fidgeting with his hair and biting his lip.

"What do you want to know? I mean...I'm pretty boring."

"Hobbies activities you like to do maybe your family." Normally he would ask sexual questions but for some reason he knew these were safe questions for now.

"Hobbies?" Junko asked doubtfully. "I work. Sometimes I read. I have two brothers and a sister, all ofus living with our mother. I used to write some, but I quit when everything got...hectic." Junko's eyes stated determinedly glued to his clasped hands. a strand of emerald hair falling forward to curl against the table.

Hoshi reaches over and gently takes the strand and twirls in his fingers.

"Tell me do you sing or dance?" Junko watches the way his hair slips around Hoshi's fingers and licks his lips.

"I...no. Not anymore." Hoshi grins by how mesmerized Junko is as he gently leans over kissing the strands keeping his eyes on Junko.

"I think your voice would make even the fiercest beast lay down and purr." Junko sputters, his eyes going wide.

"I-I-I-I-....t-thank you." He reaches a skahing hand up and tugs his hair from Hoshi's hand, leaning back with a nervous tremor.

Hoshi grins and looks at him. The waitress brings over Junko's burger and Hoshi's coffee dropping a card by his cup and walks off. Junko eyed the card curiously, but picked up his burger without comment. He looked everywhere but at Hoshi, wondering what on earth he was doing here with him. Hoshi picked up his coffee and sipped it.

"So what about your other siblings other than the flamboyant pixie named Youji." Junko smiled as the thought of his youngest family members.

"Hiroki and Kaori are twins. Both six and closer related to hurricanes than humans." Hoshi snorts and chuckles slightly.

"Must be nice. I have a younger brother myself." Junko shakes his head.

"I remember what it was like before Youji was born. I had everything to myself, but it was a bit lonely. We lived in a community outside the suburbs at the time and there weren't many children for me to play with. I was happy when Mum told me I would have a little one to play with soon." Hoshi looks at him as his smile slowly died on his face.

"My mother had a nickname for me... her rich mistake..." for a moment he forgot who he was with and how he didnt know his past or his famous status.

Junko's frown was fierce.

"No child is a mistake. Unintended, perhaps, but never a mistake." Hoshi looks at him for a second then grinned his dark mood suddenly lifted.

"Oh but that is in the past and my past i dont want to think about it. What about relationships? Are you single?" He hoped Youji was right about his brother being single.

Junko blushed, but nodded, his own dark mood quickly forgotten.

"I don't really have time to go out much and I've never been...adept at talking to girls." Hoshi smirks.

"So does that mean you lean towards men?"
