Vincent Frost

Two months, two long months since Alec had been welcomed into the house of the two vampires calling themselves Ashe and Snow. In those two months, Alec had adjusted to many things. Of these things, the most difficult was rearranging his schedule. In that, he was a day person by his very nature, but since the sun now brought instant death to him, he had to learn to sleep during the day, and be active in the night. It wasn't like he couldn't go out in the day at all though, he just had to make sure that the sun made no direct contact with his skin, and to do so required heavy clothes that made it impractical to actually attempt it. Not to mention the risk. It wasn't like he was living in darkness though, the tinted windows of the very expansive estate he now lived allowed sunlight in without actually doing harm to him. Still, it was so very new to him and he was still struggling to completely adjust.

But then there was the issue of his "roommates." Ashe had a tendency to walk around naked, and while he had no reason to be ashamed of his inherently gorgeous body, Alec was becoming a little tired of the blood rushing to his face every time his eyes felt like wandering down to the large appendage dangling so tantalizingly between Ashe's legs. Although, between Ashe and Snow, Alec tended to get along with Ashe a lot better. Ashe liked to play, and he was constantly dragging Alec out at night to take a walk, or dragging him to the media room to watch a movie or play a video game.

Snow was different. In fact, Alec saw very little of him in the past two months. He'd occasionally ask Alec how he was doing, but he mostly stayed shut up in his study, working on some novel according to Ashe. It wasn't that he was unfriendly, necessarily, just rather cold and distant. Alec often wondered if Snow was purposely avoiding him.

There was also the problem with them fucking. It wasn't an every night thing, but Alec knew way too much about their sex lives. Namely that Ashe was a screamer, and was always the bottom. Which was strange, because despite his cold stares, Snow was far more feminine than Ashe. In the face anyway, Alec caught glimpses of Snow's body, which was as tightly toned as Ashe's body.

Then there was the final adjustment, and by far the most difficult for Alec to overcome. It was something he should have addressed a week ago, and he had held out as long as he could. Avoiding the sun, that was fine. But, his final rite of passage was currently adding a crimson hue to his reflection, as Alec stood in the kitchen, staring at a chilled blood pack in his hands.

He was hungry.

He had put it off, gazed longingly at the taunting red packs in the refrigerator over the past week. He couldn't hold out anymore. Dizziness, fatigue, and even sickness was begging him to rip open the pack and pour it down his throat. But, it wasn't so simple for Alec.

The red blood pack was more than just blood. It meant Alec really wasn't human anymore, and would now be embarking on a crimson trail that led to Alec one day tearing open a person's neck and draining them for all they were worth. The thought sickened Alec. He cried whenever his pet hamster died. How could he possibly kill another person?

Crooned against the refrigerator, lost in his own thoughts, Alec didn't notice the newest intruder to the kitchen. Shirtless, yet at least with the good mind to put on pants, Ashe stepped into the room, crimson eyes falling upon the slim boy.

"Yo, you hungry?" His voice as chipper as ever.

"A-Ashe...I..." In his sudden confusion, the blood pack fumbled and fell from Alec's hands. "U-Umm..."

A smile on his lips, Ashe bent over and gathered blood pack off the ground, blissfully unaware of Alec's roaming eyes on his body. "Relax, I already know you're a vampire." He giggled. "Think I was gonna throw garlic at you?"

"Would that really hurt me?"

"Nah, wooden stakes don't really do much either. All myth. Sun's our biggest weakness, I guess." He passed the blood pack to Alec. "Here, eat up. You've gotta be hungry. You grab a bite to eat, and then we can go watch a movie."

"I-It's not that easy..."

"Hm? Can't open it?"

"N-No...it's not that...just it's awkward, you know? To pop one of these open like a juice box and drink it...."

"Yeah, I kinda see what you mean." Ashe joined Alec in propping his body against the refrigerator, taking the blood pack from Alec's hands. "I know you're still adjusting. But, on the bright side I got a friend out of all this."

Alec smiled. He'd made a friend too. Two, in fact. Even if Snow acted cold, Alec still felt close to him.

"So, wanna try it from the source? May be a little less awkward."

"I'm not going to kill somebody!"

"Relax...." Ashe laughed again. "I never said you had to. You can drink from me. That'll be fine."

"D-Drink...from you?"

"Yeah. Vampires feed off each other all the time. Just don't drain me or anything." Ashe moved from the refrigerator to the kitchen table, sitting down in one of the oaken chairs and patting his lap. "It'll probably be better for your first time anyway. C'mon, bite." He bent his neck, exposed the beautiful nape that Alec couldn't help but lick his lips at.

"I-I don't want to hurt you."

"It won't hurt. In fact, vampires take a lot of sexual pleasure out of biting. You remember when you first saw me and Snow, right? You want me to show you?"

"Err...well..." Alec didn't exactly want to say no.

Extending his hand to Alec, who gracefully took it, Ashe pulled the blond into his lap, adoring the red stain on his cheeks as he bent the blond's neck. "Relax..." Ashe cooed as he pulled the collar of his shirt away. "I promise this won't hurt."

"I-I guess I trust you."

"I do this, you gotta promise me you'll eat though."

"I promise."

Ashe blew the nape of Alec's neck softly, ripping a shudder from the younger boy. "Ready?" With a shakey nod as his answer, Ashe bore his fangs and sank them into the nape of Alec's neck. A cock throbbing moan spewed from Alec's lips, awakening Ashe's sleeping member. The sweet tang of the boys blood filled his mouth as he took a small drink of the boy. Only Snow had ever tasted so good to him, Ashe losing himself in the sea of scarlet. What was to be a small drink, turned into a hungry devour, Alec's moans encouraging him to go deeper.

Alec's head was swimming. The feel of Ashe's teeth burying into his neck was so far from hurting. The split second of pain was quickly overcome with intense tingling sensation as the nerves in his neck all danced in beautiful harmony, bringing lights to Alec's bright blue eyes.

"Ashe..." He moaned out, gripping his black roots and pulling the mouth closer.

Reality crashed down around the ebony haired vampire, realizing he was getting too into it. Damn if he didn't taste good though. He pulled his mouth off Alec's neck, the blond vampire left panting and aroused in Ashe's wake.

"D-Damn, sorry about that. Got carried away. You were making some really good noises."

Alec blushed, which was a reaction Ashe was easily able to elicit from the little blond. "Sorry."

"So, you see what I mean though, right? You won't hurt me by biting me. Now, it's your turn." Ashe bent his neck again. "Eat..." He purred, his hands roaming down Alec's small back.

"A-Alright..." Alec inched in close, his breath eliciting soft coos from Ashe's lips. He scored the naked skin with his teeth, his body shaking with anxiety.

"Bite..." Ashe's hands now rested on the small of Alec's back.

With the feel of Ashe's throbbing member resting in the crack of his ass to encourage him, Alec sank his fangs into the creamy flesh. Ashe let out a howl, his hand racing up to clench Alec's blond roots.

"Yesssss." He purred.

Alec withdrew his fangs and sucked hungrily at the fresh wound, Ashe's tangy blood flooding his mouth, sweeter than any fruit Alec had ever tasted. So good, his head swimming with desire, foggy as he drank from Ashe, the taller man bucking his hips in need as Alec continued to drain him.

"So good..." Ashe panted as Alec continued to eat, the intense tickling in his neck shooting sensations directly down to his groin. His crimson eyes cast to the little blond, certainly not bad looking by any means. Very cute, very petit. And Ashe was very aroused.

"Let the wound heal." A deep grumble alarmed.

Alec's blue eyes snapped open, his teeth withdrawing from the now healing wound and turned to face the white haired intruder.

"S-Snow...I-I..." Alec scrambled for the right words to explain himself.

` "If you drain him to quickly, he won't be able to handle it. You have to be more slow." Snow instructed as he moved to their side.

"You're not mad?"

"Why would I be? He was only getting you to eat." Snow reached out and touched the nape of breathless Ashe's neck, the wound now completely closed. "But, it's better for the receiver if you go in short bursts. Bite, suck, then let it heal. Then repeat."

As he instructed, Snow stared Alec in the eye, overwhelming the boy with his icy, golden gaze. Those eyes scared Alec so, because they arrogantly knew everything, and were proud of it. They likely knew how aroused Alec currently was, and how desperately Alec wanted to flee to his room to take care of himself, the memory of Ashe's teeth in his neck still fresh.

"I-I-I should go!" Alec wasted no movement in his scramble from the kitchen, to the stairs where he darted for his room in almost mindless stumbling.

Watching the petite blond leave the kitchen, golden eyes dull with confusion, Snow finally turned his gaze to the breathless vampire sinking into the chair. "You okay?" Snow let his eyes drift down to Ashe's rather prominent bulge. "Suppose that's the wrong question..."

"Fuck, Snow. He tasted really good."

"You're pathetic. But, I suppose I can't blame you. I smelled his blood the night he turned, and there was something so inviting about it." Snow dropped down to his knees, pulling down the zipper and parting Ashe's jeans, the heated sex springing to life, pre ejaculate already pooled at the tip. "You really are hard."

"Please, Snow..." Ashe breathed.

"Sure you wouldn't rather him do it?"

"Snow..."

"I'm teasing you. But after this, I want you to go somewhere for the rest of the night. It wouldn't be a good idea for you to be around him right now. Don't forget--" Snow's voice became a dangerous whisper. "You belong to me."

"I love you, Snow...." Ashe breathed as Snow took him into his mouth. Ashe watched in avid fascination as his aching sex vanished into the hot expanse of Snow's mouth. His tongue flicked and teased the head, before being swallowed down into Snow's talented throat, where the back of his throat convulsed and squeezed the sensitive red crown. Ashe moaned, fingers clutching white roots, the powerful man servicing him always so hot. Snow scraped his fangs along the member, a gentle scoring to heighten Ashe's pleasure. With one final moan, Ashe came. Thick ribbons of seed splashing down Snow's throat, hungrily devoured by the snow haired vampire.

"S-Snow...." Ashe panted, watching Snow's mouth release his limp member, the other vampire zipping up his jeans and kissing up Ashe's hard body.

"Now, go out for the night. It's time for you to feed anyway."

"Alright." Ashe kissed Snow on the lips. He needed to get out, forget the sensations that Alec had brought him. He loved Snow, he owed his life to Snow. There was no room for anyone else.

Alec had never felt like more of a deviant in his life. Door closed, he himself completely naked with one hand pumping his member to his fourth orgasm, and the other pressing the nape of his neck where Ashe's teeth had previously been. Ashe's taste was still on his lips. And there was Snow, imagining those golden eyes staring at him as he pushed himself deep into Alec. He wondered how Snow would taste, how Snow feeding on him would feel.

He brought his own essence to his lips, closing his eyes and lapping hungrily at it. He imagined Snow and Ashe upon him, kissing, biting, purring, and becoming one with him. His nightly dreams were starting to leak into his day life. Not unpleasant dreams, but Alec wondered when the dreams would overwhelm him. Today had been the closest he'd ever been to desperately begging Ashe to take him.

Alec sighed, getting off the bed and begrudgingly pushing himself back into his clothes. Although, he understood why Ashe walked around naked, Alec just didn't feel like getting dressed.

After getting dressed, Alec sulked out of his room. He wondered if Ashe was still in the mood for a movie, or anything that would give Alec an excuse to be around the friendly vampire. He wouldn't mind spending time with Snow, but the white haired vampire scared Alec somewhat. Snow was one of the only man Alec could think of that could actually make him uneasy with just a stare. Since it had been stated so many times by Ashe that Snow was the one who paid for the house, Alec feared if he crossed Snow, he'd find himself out on the street on a bright and sunny day.

Which was apparently now a bad thing.

Still, searching the house three times over, which was quite a feat considering the size of the expansive mansion, Alec found it bare of the raven haired vampire. Confused, Alec knew of only one place in the house he had failed to check, the one room of the house where he had not been dragged: Snow's study.

He never once stepped foot in it. According to Ashe, it was rare for him to. Snow was very private when he worked, and regarded intrusions with threats of violence. Still, he shouldn't be in too much trouble if he just asked Snow where Ashe might be.

So up the stairs and to the the door waiting just across the hall, Alec pushed open the door, gently, as though some terrible beast awaited on the other side. Light spilled out into the otherwise dark hallway from within the study's depth's.

Before Alec even had clear view of the door, a deep voice grumbled. "What is it?"

Alec crept in, head down to avoid Snow's golden gaze, which was now made heart throbbingly beautiful with the addition of glasses hanging off his perfectly shaped nose.

Like with most of the house, the study was large. The walls were veiled by book cases stacked tightly with multiple hard and paperbacks. There was a single, leather couch in front of one of the book cases, ideal for laying and reading a good book while drifting into a sweet nap. And at the end of the room was a curtained window and a desk facing the door with naught but a laptop and Snow sitting in a chair behind said computer, now gazing up at Alec as he waited for response.

"Are you going to answer me, little one?"

"S-Sorry. I was just wondering if...you know...Ashe is around..." Again, retreating from that damn golden gaze.

"He went out. He hasn't fed in a few months now."

The implication was obvious. "Oh...so..." His train of thought breaking as his blue eyes scanned the book spines, he noticed a very recurring name. Vincent Frost. A novelist Alec himself was very familiar with, having collected and read every single one his books. They were romance novels, mixed with adventure, chronicling the life of two men as they journeyed and fell in love. Reading his books actually was the first time Alec every seriously reconsidered his sexuality.

"So, you're a fan of Vincent Frost?" Golden eyes retrained from the computer back onto Alec. Again, he was made nervous.

"I should certainly hope so. Seeing how he's me." Snow was already turning back to his computer, fingers clacking across the keyboard.

"W-Wait! You're him?! You're Vincent Frost!?" Alec moved into the study, the door shutting with a click behind him. "Oh my god! I love all your books! I've gotta say though, Broken Summer was kind of a downer. I was really worried your main characters were gonna permanently leave one another. You almost had me crying."

His gaze fell back upon Alec, though this time much less of a glare, and more of an amused glimmer. With the glasses, and the smile tugging at his lips, Alec couldn't help but hear his mind whisper "slutty librarian," because of Snow's natural beauty enhanced by the adorable bifocals continually being pushed up by his fingers.

"Always nice to meet a fan, I suppose." A heavenly smile graced Snow's otherwise stern features.

"S-Sorry, it's just no one really knows who you are. You're never at any kind of signing or anything so---"

"Well, there's a good reason for that, little one."

"I know that, now..." Alec pouted. Subtle actions like pouting reminded Snow so much of Ashe, and how he first fell in love with the raven haired man. Snow almost wanted to give the outstretched lip a friendly nibble. "Are you working on your next novel?"

"Yes."

"M-Mind if I stay here with you then? I would love to watch you work, and it's too big of a house to be alone so---"

His golden eyes narrowed, promising malice to Alec who now was backing away. The glare soon softened, however, and another smile pulled at Snow's pouty lips. "Very well..." He took the stack of papers from his side and presented them to Alec. "This is part of my newest manuscript. But, I could use a second opinion on it. You can sit on the couch there."

"Alright!" His enthusiasm bubbling over, Alec gratefully took the manuscript and plopped down on the couch, ready to delve into "Vincent Frost's" newest adventure while the soft clacking of Snow's work gave ambiance to the room.

As he read, Alec's mind drifted back to past books, with the same characters, in the same love. And something in Alec's mind clicked. He looked to Snow, still working on the novel, before looking down again to the manuscript.

He had never realized it before. And why would he? He had only met Snow and Ashe just recently, but reading the newest manuscript, Alec realized that the main characters were based on Snow and Ashe. Snow was so cold and distant, but his beautiful story telling conveyed his feelings more beautifully than any words every could. It was a beautiful way for Snow to tell the entire world how much he loved Ashe. And Ashe so obviously loved Snow, if the daily howling was any indication. It was a great thing, a beautiful thing. Two people in love.

So why did Alec suddenly feel like he wanted to cry? He had been with them only two months, and Ashe and Snow had been together for over three hundred years. He had grown attached to the two, but he never thought he tricked himself into thinking he could come between them. He hoped he wasn't wrong.

"Something wrong?" Snow broke the silence, taking note that Alec was now simply staring at a page, rather than reading.

"No...not really. Just thinking about how...how nice it must feel to, you know, be in love."

Snow fell silent.

"Meh, I'm being stupid. But, your story is really good, as always."

Snow felt the need to get away, the tender, heart breaking look on Alec's face was tearing his insides apart. "I'm going to go get some coffee." Snow cut the subject, rising from his rolling, leather covered chair. "You want some?"

"No, I'm okay." Alec had already turned his eyes back to the manuscript.

"I'll be right back. Please, keep reading." Snow left the study, and not a moment too soon. It was definitely going to be an extended coffee break. Things were becoming too complicated, had been since the moment he pressed his slashed arm to Alec's lips. The boy drank his blood, becoming a vampire that night: a vampire with an eternal link to Snow. A blood bond that should have never happened. The link between the two, one that Alec was otherwise unaware of, was causing great pains to Snow. Turning Alec had given Snow a link to Alec of sorts, almost telepathic. Alec's emotions were being channeled into Snow in the form of heart aches, brief images, and intense heat. The lust Alec felt earlier for Ashe, and the pain he was feeling reading the new manuscript.

At the kitchen, Snow punched the refrigerator in a fit of anger. Why couldn't things still be simple?

"Whoah, what'd that fridge ever do to you?" The recently slithered in Ashe chimed. Snow spun around, greeted by his ebony haired lovers crimson eyes.

"It's nothing."

"It's rare for you to lose your cool like that." Closing the distance between them, Ashe wrapped his arms around Snow's waist, pressing his lips to his love's neck. "Is it Alec?"

"It's not fair to say it is, but..." Snow grumbled. "He's affecting me. His smell, his eyes, his face...it's all so...familiar...."

Ashe growled. "You mean like Mary?"

"Ashe..."

"I know. He sort of looks like her. Snow...I..."

"Ashe!" Snow barked. "Mary died three hundred years ago. I've long since gotten over my feelings for her. Part of me will always love her, and yet..."

"And yet when you saw Alec, who looks so much like her, bleeding out in front of you, you couldn't help but try to save him. To save her."

"Ashe..." Snow's golden eyes darkened. He only quietened whenever Ashe won an argument, and despite how rare an occasion it was, Snow always conceded his defeat. "I've got work to do. Take him to the entertainment room or something..."

"Snow!" Ashe stopped Snow's quick retreat from the kitchen. "If you have any feelings for him because of his resemblance to her. Don't act on it. It wouldn't be fair to him."

"Or you..." Snow said, again moving his body from the kitchen. "So I'll relinquish myself to abusing the refrigerator whenever the emotions become too much."

Ashe sank into the kitchen table chair, watching his white haired lover leave. He liked having Alec around, watching movies with him, so far as the two were frequently scolded by Snow for cuddling and falling asleep on the couch while leaving the movie playing. It was nice to have him around, and while the circumstances of his arrival may not have been the most desirable, Ashe had never been the type to dwell on the past.

Alec was with them, and Ashe would enjoy his company.

As his thoughts fixated on the blond vampire, the very boy wandered into the kitchen, sitting down across from Ashe with crimson stains on his cheeks.

"Oh, hey!" Ashe would pretend none of his thoughts even transpired.

"U-Um, well...Snow told me to come hang out with you but....about earlier..."

"You bite good kid. I got a little carried away." Ashe was now blushing as well. "But, don't worry about it. I wouldn't try to rape you in your sleep or anything. I already did that when you were passed out for two weeks."

"W-What!?"

Ashe broke into hysterical laughter, rising from his chair and lifting the petite blond from his own. "You're so fucking cute when you're flustered. C'mon, let's go catch a movie."

They moved their giggling forms to the far end of the first floor, to the rather large, shut in room, complete with the largest television Alec had ever lay eyes on, complete with a blu-ray player and a large assortment of varying horror movies. Not to mention the game consoles that Ashe had forced Alec to play on more than one occasion. Ashe pushed Alec down on the leather couch sitting proudly on the back wall and moved to select a random movie for them to view. The couch was an exact match to the one in Snow's study, so much so, that it seemed to add a sense of contrast to the refined study Snow secluded himself in. Instead of bookcases of books, there were racks of dvds and video games. Snow's refined tastes, and Ashe's rather simple tastes. Although, Ashe's tastes were likely more expensive.

Deciding on "Thirteen Days Later," a movie Ashe tended to treat as a comedy, Ashe plopped on the couch and cuddled in close to Alec, who'd grown used to Ashe's intimate behaviors.

As the movie played, Ashe laughing at the tenth gross exaggeration of violence, Alec felt the tension welling in his chest, before finally saying, "You really love Snow, don't you?"

Ashe fell silent for a moment, before answering. "Yeah. I've loved him for three hundred years."

"Can I ask...how the two of you met?"

"It's a story for another time." Ashe pet Alec's blond locks lovingly. "Why're you asking?"

"No real reason, I guess. Just...nothing..."

"What is it? C'mon, you're supposed to be able to tell your friend anything."

"Last time I followed advice like that, I wound up on the street having my throat torn out by vampires."

"And look how well that turned out! You got to meet a hot stud like me, and hang out with me all the time!"

Alec couldn't hold his laughter. "I guess you're right. I did get to meet two amazing guys."

"Two? Snow sucks...I'm the hot one." Alec continued to laugh. He unconsciously pressed his body closer to Ashe, who invited him in.

"Thanks...You two saved me that night. No matter how I may have turned out, I'm glad to still be alive."

"Yeah...don't mention it. Now be quiet, you're ruinin' the movie." Ashe thumped Alec on the head, the two settling into another fit of giggles. While watching the movie, Alec's thoughts continued to drift back to the story. Back to his own feelings. With Ashe's fiery, yet gentle demeanor, and Snow's aloof, yet aware state of being. They completed one another, Snow pushed others out, and Ashe pulled them in. Snow's stories reflected that, and reflected how much he truly loved those characteristic in Ashe. His two monthes with the pair, his confusion of becoming a vampire, and isolation that Ashe had dragged him out of. His worry, and inability to accept his new fate that Snow had guided him through.

He'd fallen in love. Not with one man, but two. And two men he had no hope of coming between.
