When I got to the motel, I shut and locked the door quickly, and then shut the curtains.
I found my phone, and called my sister, Blue.
I can’t help thinking that I should’ve left the door unlocked. No, that’d be stupid, because I don’t know the guy other than his name, and that he’s been following me for some reason. He looks pretty rich though, so I wonder what he’s doing in such a small town.
Maybe he’s just roaming around, just like me? Nah, he doesn’t seem like that kind of guy.
“Jay? Jay Jay? You there?”
“Blue?”
“Who else?” That’s right, I called her cell…
“What have you been doing?” I started off. Now was the moment of truth. I was going to come out of the closet. It was fun while it lasted. Not.
Than again, not like it lasted long anyway, I mean really, I’ve been gay for what, two hours? Give or take nineteen years or so. But that doesn’t count. I was ignorant.
“JAY!” Blue suddenly yelled.
“WHAT?!” I yelled back.
“Don’t call me if your not going to listen.”
“Sorry…”
A few minutes of silence, and Blue spoke again.
“If your not going to say anything I’m going to hang up.” She threatened.
“Wait. I need to tell you something.” Damn I’m nervous. I think I’d rather tell her this in person.
“Well what is it?” She asked, sounding uncaring, but I knew she was listening intently. Anything to use against me later on.
“Imayormaynotbegay.” I said really quickly, a big part of me hoping that she didn’t understand.
I waited a moment with bated breath.
Bated breath? What the hell does that mean? Whatever…
And I think I’m deaf now, because Blue just screamed into my ear. Loudly. Very loudly. Bloody murder loud.
“BLUE, SETTLE DOWN!” I yelled into the phone, and soon she was done, but I could hear her breath heavily.
“Really?”
“Maybe.”
“Have you done anything with another guy?”
“As if I’m going to tell my little sis what I’ve been doing.”
“So your saying you have done something.” Damn.
“Not exactly.” And that was as much I was going to tell her. I’d rather not scar her for life or something. Unless she’s a perv too.
Wait, that didn’t come out right. Whether she is a pervert or not, I’m not going to tell her anything. I meant that she might not be as… scarred as she would’ve been otherwise.
“What’s his name?”
“Seth.” I blurted out without thinking. DAMN IT.
Can’t I ever shut my mouth? Not to her I guess.
I waited tentatively for the barrage of questions to start, and I wasn’t disappointed.
“What’s he look like?”
“I can’t explain well.” And I think you can tell that I can’t. I can only describe the most easily described features.
“Take a picture of him and send it to me.” I can’t do that, I’m going to leave. Reallysoon. And I told her so.
“WHAT! NO!” Blue wailed. She was probably going to be pissed after this.
“Yes.” I sighed. “As soon as my cars fixed.”
…
Oh shit.
“You have time. Lots of time.”
“No, Blue.”
“Don’t tell me your scared or something.”
“That’s not it. I doubt he’s even gay.”
“But you two have done something to make you realize you were?”
“No! It’s not like that, I’ve only talked to him.”
“That’s not all.” She sounded as if she knew something. Probably did. She always was insightful.
“I had a dream.”
“What kind of dream?”
“I’d rather not say.”
There was more silence. I’m pretty sure she figured out what it was.
“Jay Jay?” I heard someone else’s voice say over the phone, and it wasn’t Blue.
“Bailey?” I guessed, and I was right.
“Yep. I heard that you had a dream. Would you like to describe- in detail- of what it was about?” I flushed.
God, I don’t even want to think about it. It’d be so disturbing since I’d be thinking about that and talking to my sister and her best friend. I may have branded myself as a creep and a pervert, but I’m not that bad.
“Jay Jay?”
“No.”
“Oh come on. It’d be a big help for one of my classes.”
“How the hell would it help!” Damn yay… yow… fuck it. Gay fan girls. There we go.
“Whatever, here’s Birdie.” Birdie being Blue.
“Bye Bailey.”
“Oh! One last thing!” Bailey said quickly. “Don’t forget to use lube!”
…
I want to die.
“Say goodbye to Blue for me.”
“Wait! I forgot to mention that you need to use your fingers-” I shut off the phone.
God please kill me now.
I do not need this right now.
I needed advice but not that kind.
The images…
I need a shower. A nice, long, hot shower.
The water felt so good on my skin, and it helped to forget about the earlier conversation.
But not the dream.
Oh god the dream.
I really shouldn’t have thought about it cause now I’m a bit aroused. More than a bit actually.
The knob to turn the water cold wasn’t too far away… but my hand was closer.
Decisions, decisions.
A feeling of being unresolved, or guilty.
In the end it was my hand.
Screw guilt. Or Seth.
At least until I walked out of the bathroom, to see Seth looking out of my motel room window.
Huh.
Well, I think I may be in deep shit.
Especially if he heard…
Shit.
Just… just play it normal.
Wait. What the hell is he doing in my room?
“What the hell are you doing in my room.” Seth had an odd look on his face, before muttering something I couldn’t hear, and shaking his head slightly.
“Your car is finished.”
“And you know this how?”
“Apparently Shirley said we were friends, and told the man working on your car, who told me.” I thought over it a minute.
“How did you get in?”
“The woman at the front let me in.”
Wow, so much for privacy.
“Oh…” I trailed off. I hope they don’t do that at other motels. What if they let in a serial killer or rapist or something?
I think… I’m just going to sleep in my car from now on. But… they’ll be able to see me, unless I park my car where no one can.
“Jay?”
“Yeah?”
“Do you… never mind.” Seth trailed off.
“What?”
“It’s nothing.”
Great, now I’m curious. Maybe a bit creeped because Seth is just staring at me.
“What?”
“I told you, it’s nothing.”
“Then stop staring at me!” I was content with myself since I didn’t yell that out like I probably would of otherwise.
I seemed to have surprised him when I said that though. It made me feel a little self-conscious cause he could have been just thinking about something, and just looking at some random place, like what I do.
“Sorry,” He said monotonously, making me believe he wasn’t really sorry.
“Whatever.” I let it go, and then I remembered I was still in my towel.
I went over to the bag that I had, that was filled with clothes. Most of them were dirty of course. I should get some of them washed eventually.
I quickly dropped my towel, because it was cold, and I was getting Goosebumps cause I didn’t have any clothes on.
I was at the point of tugging up my pants before I remembered that Seth was still in here.
Eh heh… Oops.
I turned around, and I swear he was looking at my hands when I buttoned my pants. I could have been wrong though, the whole eyes playing tricks on the mind thing.
“What?” I asked, wondering what he was still doing here, and he shrugged.
“Nothing better to do.” He replied, looking out the window, which I noticed was open. What’s he doing messing with my room! I did shut it because of him though…
Which led me back to thinking that he was a stalker.
“I am not.” Oh, I must of said that aloud.
“That wasn’t supposed to come out.” I smiled guiltily, and the man rolled his eyes.
“I’m leaving anyways, see you around,” the last he said as he walked out of the door. It made me think that he was going to make sure that we met up again or something.
Guess I’m spending a little while more locked up in my room.
Fun fun.
So, yeah. Read on.
