"What's happening between you and Travis?" Kathryn lifted her head out of her arms and shot her cousin a strange look. Francesca had turned her head towards her and was studying Kathryn with interest.
"What do you mean?" Kathryn asked as she shifted.
"Kathryn, I'm not an idiot, something’s changed and I want to know what." Francesca yawned as she turned back, her head now facing the sky as they watched the sun searing in the sky.
"So fucking hot." Kathryn muttered as she rolled onto her back adjusting herself as she did, tilting her bikini top at a different angle so she could tan better.
"Well, I wouldn't say he's fucking hot, but Travis is cute." Francesca answered as she began adjusting her bikini bottoms. Kathryn frowned at her, sliding her sunglasses down her nose.
"I meant the weather." She told her cousin.
"Sure." Kathryn was pretty sure that behind the dark lenses of her sunglasses, Francesca was rolling her eyes.
"What's happening between you and Sebastien?" Kathryn demanded.
"I asked first." Francesca said bluntly as she shifted a little.
"Nothing is going on between me and Travis." Kathryn answered curtly.
"Liar. If nothing was going on you wouldn't have hesitated. And like I said earlier, I'm not an idiot. So tell me or I'll ask Travis." Kathryn sighed, knowing that her cousin would ask him herself.
"He saw me in my pajamas." Kathryn said.
"Oh, is that it?"
"Well, I wasn't feeling all that great and when I don't feel great I tend to... Oh god damn it Frankie stop laughing."
"You busted out your negligee." Francesca gasped out, laughing.
"Yeah." Kathryn said dejected.
"Which one the silvery grey one or the burnt orange one?" Frankie asked, sliding her sunglasses down her nose to wiggle her eyebrows.
"The purple one." Kathryn said, averting her eyes.
"With the black lace?"
"Yeah." Kathryn nodded.
"Nice. You know purple works with you."
“That's what he said before he walked out.”
“He walked out?” Francesca covered her hand with her mouth, trying not to laugh.
“Ran out more like it.” Kathryn pouted as her cousin laughed openly.
“Bet you ten dollars he had a boner.” Francesca said.
“Hey guys.” The sliding door leading to the outside area was pushed open and Kathryn blushed as Travis stepped out.
“Hey Travis.” Francesca answered lowering her sunglasses as he walked by shirtless, his jeans hung low on his waist. He waved at her as he approached the washing line, unclipping the pegs and pulling a shirt off. He slipped the shirt on and made his way back to the house. Francesca whistled at him as he passed. Travis smiled and blew a kiss her way.
“You were right, he is pretty hot.” Francesca said as Travis closed the sliding door behind him.
“Are you ever going to leave me alone?” Francesca snorted.
“Fuck no.”

Travis McGinty was perplexed. Was Kathryn in to him or wasn’t she? There were times when he had caught her staring at him and she seemed to be fascinated by his freckles. But then again, she didn’t talk to him much and Frankie flirted more than Kathryn did. Travis was perplexed. So Travis did what he knew he had to do.
“Sebastien?” Travis knocked on his roommate’s door, lightly tapping his knuckles on the wood.
“Yeah?” The door was pulled open and Travis smiled at his best friend as he stood in the doorway rubbing his eyes.
“Fuck me, Travis. It’s like…early.” Sebastien protested as he scratched his bare belly with his long, pale fingers.
“It’s nine-ish.” Travis told him after briefly checking his watch.
“Whatever, come in.” Sebastien stepped away from the door and Travis followed him inside. While Travis’ room was a jumble of clothes, papers and candy wrappers, Sebastien’s was neat. Neatly stacked boxes and piles of books were lined up along his desktop and the chairs on one side of the room were big and soft. The only irregularity was the unmade bed with the dog lying on it. Travis settled himself down on the floor, leaning up against the couch while Sebastien had a staring contest with his dog.
“Off.” Sebastien ordered. Dougie lifted his head, his big beagle ears drooping a little before laying his head down to rest again.
“Off.” Sebastien said. Dougie ignored him this time and Sebastien sighed before picking his dog up and putting him on the floor.
“Stupid shit.” Sebastien muttered angrily as he began fixing his bed. Travis watched with interest.
“I have chairs for a reason.” Sebastien told him as he arranged his pillows, his bed quickly, yet neatly made.
“I know. I need your help.” Sebastien sat down on the floor at the foot of his bed, his legs pulled beneath him as he faced Travis.
“So, what’s happening?” Sebastien asked.
“What isn’t happening?” Travis answered sighing.
“Peace in the middle east, same-sex marriages, the abolition of Big Brother?” Sebastien eventually answered after a few minutes of contemplation.
“What do I do about Kathryn?” Travis said, ignoring Sebastien’s suggestions.
“It’s about time you noticed.” Sebastien snorted as Travis looked at him shocked.
“You mean you knew?” Travis asked.
“Of course I knew. You should know by now that I know everything. And everything I somehow don’t know Francesca shares.”
“Are you two having sex?” Travis asked.
“Nope.”
“Have you had sex?”
“Nearly, but there was complications.”
“You woke up?” Sebastien shot Travis a dirty look and Travis had enough grace to look sheepish.
“You passed out?”
“No.”
“She passed out?”
“Uh-uh.”
“You didn’t have protection?”
“Nah, I did.”
“Someone interrupted?”
“Nope.”
“She’s a virgin?”
“Fuck no.”
“She rejected you?”
“Thankfully no. Try again.”
“She wasn’t wet enough and you were out of lubricant?”
Sebastien shook his head.
“You couldn’t get it up?” Travis asked wracking his brain for more complications.
“No, it was definitely up.”
“Bad timing?”
“No.”
“Bad breath?”
“Never.”
“She’s ugly naked?”
“God no.” Realization struck.
“You came too quickly?”
Sebastien nodded and Travis looked horrified.
“Like a fourteen year old virgin.” Sebastien said, looking embarrassed.
“Wow. Well at least you got close, I don’t really know how to get Kathryn to look at me.”
“Touch her butt.”
“What?” Travis blinked at Sebastien.
“If she’s anything like Frankie she’ll have a nice arse. Touch it.”
“No.”
“Climb into her bed while she’s sleeping and wait for to wake up and then tell her you had a nightmare and could you spend the night with her.”
“That won’t work.”
“You never know until you try.”
“You know Sebastien, sometimes I wonder about you.”

Hey,
I would just like to thank my reviewer
Thanks honey.
And my spacing depends on the mood I am in at the time.
And yeah, I rarely read stories that accurately portray how painful losing your virginity can be.
Love all,
