Chapter Two: Realization
It has been two days since I woke up here, since I realized that my life was different.
Yesterday when I was up and walking around the house, that woman who I saw two days earlier, I now know her as Nick, that's short for Nicolette.
She told me that it had been one of the pack members that had attacked me.
I asked her what a pack was, she said 'A pack is us, everyone you see around here is the pack. You are what I am, that is a lycan or werewolf.' I shook my head and turned away from her, saying something like ' I need to lay down'.
I went back to the room I woke up in and stood by the window looking out.
*Its true, everything I looked for in the past is true. I never thought I would see one, let alone be attacked by one and become one.*
That's what I thought about, as I stood there.
Being brought back to reality by knocking on the door, I turned away from the window and walked over.
Opening the door slowly, I looked to see who it was, he was male and someone I didn't know.
He looked to be about twenty-five maybe, six foot seven, two-hundred and twenty pounds of pure muscle.
"You want something.?"
I said to him as I opened the door more, looking him up and down twice.
"I have somethings I need to tell you, can I come in to talk."
He asked as he stood there with his hands in his pockets.
"Sure,"
I said as I stepped away from the door, letting him inside, then closing it after he walked by.
"I take it your the one that attacked me."
It really wasn't much of a question but more of a fact.
He let out a nervous laugh and shook his head.
"Yes, I'm the one that attacked you. I'm the one that turned you."
He said as he turned towards me.
"With in the first twenty minutes of changing, you have no power over your body or mind. When you touched me, I knew I wouldn't be able to let you go."
He said as he held out his hands, in which I think was to show he didn't know what else to say.
Taking a deep breath, I walked around him to stand in front of the window again.
"Then why didn't you kill me, why bring me here, why turn me?"
I asked as I felt tears come to my eyes.
Turning towards him, I shook my head.
He took a step towards me and stopped, an sat down on the bed.
"We where told 'To never kill humans', some of are kind live by that and some don't. I live by that, Yes I attacked you, No I shouldn't have. But you should have done what I said, you should have walked away. I came to apologies for what I did to you, I truly am sorry for making you what I am."
He said as he stood back up and walked towards the door.
"Wait,"
I said as I took several long steps to grab on to him arm, to keep him from leaving.
"Thank you for at least coming to apologies, that means alot to me."
I said as I looked up at him, with a small smile on my face.
"Your welcome, I figured I owed you that much."
He said as he slightly kissed my forehead and walked out the door.
Shacking my head, I walked back over to the window and sat down staring out into the day, think of everything that was said to me.
