Whatever It Takes
I do not expect you to disguise-
I know the sin
And the man within
Are the same in your eyes,
So easy to despise.
I only ask you to accept
You don't know who I am;
Only a mask, a sham
You're free to inspect.
I'll continue to show respect,
Just show me how to see inside,
To be what you wish,
To soothe the itch,
And make your pain subside.
I will set my self aside.
