chapter 2
Josh wasn\'t easy seeing Sabrina in her territory like that, she always looked beautiful but damn, she made it hard to take his eyes of off her, But somehow she didn\'t seem ice who she used to be, she looked older somehow her eyes looked trouble. Today was actually the first time he really looked at her, I mean looked, before he would just wait for the twins outside the building for the twin’s holiday with him, funny how he once thought she was the only one for him.
He was always looking for a different type of a woman, someone who has complete faith in him, love, trust and need. Maybe he was a little harsh but she did the unforgivable to him, she left him without as much as a note, he woke up to an empty house, their house, and he just went crazy, he looked for her everywhere he could think of, even went to at her parents house and faced her horrible parents just to know if she was alright, but nothing, for 2 weeks no one knew anything about her, until one night she called him, saying that she cant do it any more that leaving him was the hardest thing she ever did, she said he\'s not suppose to look for her and disappeared.
Of course like an idiot he fell for it and considered doing his best to get her back, so he focused on his work just his work, no one except Tom knew what happened 2 years later he got a job at one of the best designer company\'s, that\'s as when he found her.
His thought got interrupted by his secretary Miss. Flower’s knock on the door.
\"Mr. Carmichael?\"
\"Yes, May?\"
\"Ms.Sabrina Bloom is waiting outside and wants to talk to you?\"
\"What does she want?\" This is interesting Josh thought wryly.
\"Well I have no idea really; she said it’s about the children.\"
\"Fine, let her in.\"
Well that\'s n improvement, he hadn’t talked too her face to face since the day they agreed on how to handle the twins vacations and holidays. The sound of the small knock made him smile, she doesn\'t ant to be here as well.
“Hello, Josh\"
\"hey Rina whats up?\"
The sound of her nickname startled her, he use to call her that when they were together, just he way he said it, sent shivers down her spine, god how she loved it when she used to be around him, but now that name gave her shivers from the coldness in it.
\"Well, nothing really I just wanted to ask you if you can do me a small favor this weekend.\"
\"At least have a seat then we can talk about what kind of favor it is, alright?\" he said with amusement glinting in his dark blue eyes.
\"F...Fine\" she said a little unsure.
\"How are the twins?\"
\"You know they\'re fine you had them yesterday.\" she gave him a pleading look, she just want to leave as quickly as possible.
\"I think I have the right to miss them, besides it’s only once a week its not enough.\" her heart sank; this is why she\'s here.
\"Now what did you want Rina?\" he said quietly not missing the look on her face.
\"Well, you see, I need to take the twins with me this Christmas.\" she said slowly awaiting his reaction.
\"I beg your pardon?\" he said in a cold voice that could have frozen her.
\"Well my grand parents want to see them, they called and invited me over there for Christmas and asked if I could bring the twins along.\" she said really quickly, she knew he adored her grandparents, he never had any, when she was kicked out of her parents house, she moved in with them, Josh was there like all the time even after what happened between them he still went there, they were great friends, he grandparents were romantic at heart.
\"Hhhhmmm.\" Without taking his eyes away from hers. “I am going to think it over you know.\" he said quietly.
\"Thank you, I appreciate that you\'re even considering It.,” she said gratefully, sighing a little inside.
\"You’re not suppose to thank me I might just change my mind.\" she paled a little at his words and something inside him felt a little guilty.
\"Fine, just answer me back as soon as possible, if you can.\" she answered quietly.
\"Very well, now if you excuse me...”
\"Of course, sorry for wasting your time and dropping by without an appointment she cut in quickly standing up and striating her skirt.
He stood up saying.” It’s about the twins so it can’t wait tell the end of the week.\"
She gave him her best smiles saying.” Thank you again any way.\"
She turned around wishing she could jus run to her car, and start to cry her heart out, this wasn’t conversation any people who knew each other so intimately like they did would have had under any circumstances it was more like a business deal.
She can’t believe that this is the man she loves.
...................................................................................................................
Josh was looking out the window, staring at the busy street, not really seeing anything, he still had feelings for her, he realized a little shaken, it was just lust, she could still make him lust after her even after all those years, her hair was one of her most beautiful features it was a rich chocolate color like a river of chocolate own her shoulders, her eyes were the same color only lighter, she had the pinkest lips, smallest nose he ever saw, honey has that nose and both of the twins had her skin color, which was olive skin just a little lighter not exactly white nor dark tanned he had had a nearly black hair, blue eyes and a darker tan than hers, the kids took his eye and hair, the combination would have thrilled him if he still loved her, just the feeling that you became one with the person you love in your own child skin makes it feels wonderful, like some sort of union, a union she broke.
\"What is it May?\"
\"Sir, I was thinking\" asked May gently.
\"What?\" he turned around to look at him, he knew she had something important to say, she represented the kind of support he always look for.
\"Maybe you should let her have the kids this Christmas.\" she smiled at him warmly; he was like one of her sons.
\"I well think about It.\" he sighed and sat on his desk, leaning back.” I don\'t get to see them much; I feel I already missed much of their lives already.\"
\"Well she asked you take her back and you refused, besides you\'ve to get married at some point.\" she looked at him waiting for any reaction, nothing, just like every other time, she doesn’t remember ever seeing him that angry before when he fond out about the twins.
\"She had her chance.\" he said calmly, but then an idea sparkled in his head that maybe, just maybe he can do something to stay with his kids for as long as he wishes, just maybe.
