Chapter 2

Chapter 2
Robin had been hanging out with Marcus for 3 weeks now and he still did not make a move. She had been giving him signs that she was interested since day one. Maybe she could smile just a little bit more. She had to admit that meeting Marcus was the best thing that had happened to her since coming to college. He understood things about her that everyone else could not. Marcus was sweet and kind and such the gentlemen. He opened doors for her whenever they were together. She knew he liked her. So why wouldn’t he make a move?
“Hello?” Robin answered the phone after running out of the shower.
“Yea, Did I catch you at a bad time?”
“I was showering” she said when she realized that it was Marcus on the phone. That should get him to thinking.
“Oh…….um I’ll call back.”
She could tell that he was really embarrassed by her being nude on the phone with him. Well, if he played his cards right he could be in that same shower with her. “Naw it’s ok. What did you want Marcus?”
I just wanted to know if you wanted to…um like… you know, hang out.
“Hang out?”
“Robin would you go with me tonight to....um....a movie or something?”
Robin was so surprised she ended up dropping the phone. Marcus was usually so shy around her; she would never expect him to actually say date. “Sure I would love to”
**********

Laughing at a funny scene in the movie they watched Marcus and Robin enjoyed their ice cream as they walked around the park late at night. Everything was going perfect and they both really did not want the date to end. Nothing could be better then what had happened so far. Marcus showed up to Robin’s dorm with a smile and a single white rose, her favorite. The movie was great not that Robin could remember a lot of it. She concentrated more on Marcus then the screen. Looking at him was the best movie ever.

Marcus was in his own thoughts at the time. He wanted to kiss Robin or maybe just give her a peck but, he was too nervous to do either one. He knew she liked him; she had been leaving signs for the pass 3 weeks. Marcus would be lying if he said that he had not thought of the first kiss over and over in his head. If it was anything like his dream it would not end at just a kiss.

“Hey?”

“Oh sorry did you say something?” Had she been talking the whole time he was contemplating kissing her or not?

“I’m having a great time Marcus but, I think you are the only guy who would go three weeks and not even make a move. You do like me right?”

“Damn, you are really just a say what the hell you want to kind of girl but, I do like you and I can prove it.”

He leaned in close to Robin and was only a breath away from her lips and oh man was she ever waiting for him to make a move. Marcus just stayed there and smiled at her. He was waiting for the right moment and her looking at him weird was not the right moment.

“Are you going to kiss me or just breathe on me?”

If only she knew. Once he knew that she could not wait anymore he went in for the kill. He softly planted his lips upon hers and just enjoyed the fill of her lips for a while. When he heard Robin moan he pulled her closer and gave her his tongue deepening there first kiss. At that moment nothing matter except pleasing her. She would never have anybody kiss her like this and he hoped that she would never have anyone else kiss her at all. Standing in the park on a Friday night was the day he finally figured out what falling in love meant.
