Ruka smiled turning and looking at Daisuike. "I don't think it burned too bad this time." Turning the food over, he set it onto the plates placing them on the table. For some reason he couldn't keep the smile off his face as he looked at Daisuike. Walking over he wrapped his arms around him drawing him close before planting a soft kiss on his lips.
"Would you like to go tomorrow night? Or another lesson?" He felt the urge to do something tomorrow with Daisuike but then he frowned slightly, "But wait, you're going to go out again right? Since you didn't find what you needed?"
Daisuike shook his head. He needed to call Jiro before he tried to go any farther with what he wanted to do. He just didn't know who to talk to for the most part. "No, I don't think I will. I wasted all afternoon running around when I could have spent it with you. Not doing that again tomorrow. Dinner looks great."
Though Ruka had asked if he'd been at work. That would be a better cover story. That and he was still getting that bad feeling from time to time. It felt like he was missing something. Fujimaru was dead, all the loose ends should have been tied up but something just seemed off. He brushed his lips lightly over Ruka's before slipping out of his arms to go get them both drinks. One corner of his mouth lifted in a smirk.
"I'm not so sure I can handle any more lessons."
Ruka gasped in fake shock, "No more lessons!?" He smiled slightly nodding, "Let's just watch a movie then, ne?" Slipping into his seat he looked at the food. It wasn't the best looking but at least it wasn't too bad. Last meal they couldn't even eat it, him having burnt it so bad. Ruka just didn't get it, why did he suck so bad? Maybe he was trying too hard for Daisuike's sake.
Shrugging he watched as Daisuike sat. Something was off. He was holding himself too stiffly and the way he moved seemed like he was in pain. Frowning Ruka said the thanks taking a bite of his rice holding the chopsticks in his mouth for a second before removing them and staring up at Daisuike.
"So what's wrong with you?"
"Eh?" Daisuike looked at him for a moment before he realized something must have given him away. He didn't need Ruka worrying about him. It was probably nothing anyway. He looked down at his plate, picking up his chopsticks. "I don't know what you are talking about."
Ruka sat there a little shocked as he stared at Daisuike a hot tightness in his chest. He knew something was wrong, it had been clear to him and Daisuike just brushed him off. Lowering his eyes he nodded slowly. If Daisuike didn't want to confide in him who was he to demand it?
"Oh. . ." He really didn't have much else to say, a little too hurt to say anything. Going back eating he remained silent not sure why his chest burned so much.
Daisuike tried to eat, but the silence from Ruka combined with the now constant ache finally had him pushing the plate away. He looked at Ruka apologetically.
"I'm sorry, I'm just not that hungry. If you want to watch a movie that is fine with me." He got up to clear his things from the table. He didn't like that Ruka was so quiet, but wasn't sure what to do, not sure what was bothing him. "So, which movie did you want to watch?"
Ruka shrugged, he personally wasn't in the mood to do anything at the moment. Daisuike lying to him bothered him a lot and he wasn't sure how to deal with it.
"I don't care really." Heading to the couch he grabbed the remote turning the guide on to look at the movies. Flipping through it he sighed, "Anything you want to see?"
Daisuike grabbed a blanket and went to sit next to Ruka. He wondered if he should go put sweats on, he was freezing. Watching Ruka scroll through the list he sighed. There was a definite tension in the air and not the kind he liked. Something was bothering Ruka. Glancing over at him Daisuike wasn't quite sure how to approach the situation.
"I don't have a preference."
Ruka nodded turning the guide off, "We'll just watch the news." Frowning he changed the channel to the local news curling up next to Daisuike. He kind of felt childish about this but he was hurt. Why should he relent when it wasn't his fault Daisuike lied to him?
Looking down he sighed deciding he needed some sort of distraction that didn’t involve Daisuike, "I'm going to go racing tonight."
Daisuike didn't move but a cold stab of apprehension hit him, momentarily overriding the ache in his side. He glanced over at the clock. It was after nine already. "Oh. Okay."
He looked at Ruka for a moment before turning his attention back to the TV. He wasn't sure if he should even ask. "Did you want me to go with you? If-if not that's fine."
Glancing at Suke, Ruka shrugged. Even though he could hear the hesitation in Daisuike's voice he was kind of numb.
"If you want to that's fine." Ruka wished it wasn't so formal sounding and sharp, but he was trying to keep the depression out of his voice.
Daisuike looked at him surprised by the tone. What had happened to suddenly put Ruka in a bad mood? He wasn't sure if he should press the issue or not, but it was bothering him that Ruka suddenly wanted to leave.
"Do you want me to go or not?"
Ruka sighed standing up heading towards the bedroom, "It's up to you. It doesn't matter to me since I'll be driving." Ruka instantly regretted the words but didn't add anything just walking to his closet to change debating which car he'd take. The Skyline was fast, but the Saleen was even faster, could take sharper turns, drift better. That and he could show off more. Nodding he decided on the Saleen. Grabbing new boxers, pants and a shirt, he jerked his clothes on before going to the mirror quickly applying some eyeliner. He sighed staring at the mirror for a minute before running a hand through his hair. He really needed to calm down but he was just too bothered by the situation. Why would Daisuike flat out lie to his face?
Daisuike stared at the TV, the room suddenly feeling empty and colder without Ruka there. He pulled the blanket up around him more hearing Ruka moving around in the bedroom. Did he go? Would Ruka be irritated with him? He seemed to already be unhappy with him as it was. No. He wasn't going to stay here and sulk. Ruka was upset and he needed to at least be there as support. Even if Ruka didn't care whether he was there or not, he would go. Getting up he folded the blanket and put it away. Ruka was standing at the dresser as he walked in the bedroom. It was hard to look at him an icy pain running through him just knowing that he was upset.
"If you'll give me just a minute to get dressed . . ."
"That's fine. I need to make a few calls." Turning from the dresser, Ruka paced over to the bed, flipping his phone out to call Fuji and Masa. He felt like going somewhere different and he needed help to find it. It didn't take him long and he smiled even though it felt a bit strained. They weren't entirely happy he was racing somewhere new but he wanted to. They, of course, were coming and he hoped they enjoyed themselves as much as he wanted to.
"We're taking the Saleen by the way Daisuike."
A jolt went through Daisuike hearing Ruka say his name. There was an edge to Ruka’s voice he’d never heard before and it affected him more than he’d thought possible. Ruka rarely used his full name and never when they were alone unless they were having sex. It actually made him feel worse than the knowledge that he'd have to ride in the Saleen. Pulling his shirt down he turned to look at Ruka careful to not let anything show on his face. Something about the look in Ruka's eyes bothered him; they were distant and almost cold. He couldn't help but feel that Ruka was mad at him. The nearly harsh demeanor and his sudden wish to go race seemed to underline that fact. He'd had more than enough people furious with him to not recognize the signs in his lover. He would go to this race and hopefully find out why.
Ruka sighed as he headed to the door sliding his shoes on. He felt bad that the situation was worse because of him but he wasn't sure how else to act. The race would help. He wouldn't be so tense anymore and he'd eventually get over knowing that Daisuike was lying to him. There probably was a good reason as to why he was lying, but it still didn't stop the sting of it all. Glancing at Suke he saw him seeming to be more reserved than usual, barely meeting his eyes, but he just shook his head grabbing his keys.
"We're going out of town, so we'll probably be home late. Are you sure you want to come?"
"Yes, I will come."
Ruka nodded slowly. He wanted Daisuike there but honestly he sort of didn't want him there, either. Last time he felt he had to be far more careful even than he normally was simply because Daisuike was there watching. Sometimes the risk was part of the fun. Shaking his head he headed downstairs to the garage. Clicking the alarm system he opened the doors sliding inside. Seeing Daisuike's hesitation he frowned again.
"If you're that determined to go, I'll go slow or you can just stay home. It's fine Daisuike, I don't mind if you want to stay home."
Daisuike didn't say anything as he got into the car. As usual it felt like he was crawling down into a hole after being used to his truck.
"Let's just go already." Daisuke frowned hearing the irritation in his voice. That wasn't going to help matters at all.
"Fine."
Ruka gripped the steering wheel as Daisuike buckled up. Once he was done he took off, keeping the speed decent to get there on time but not enough to scare Daisuike. He might be upset but he'd never intentionally scare his lover.
Once to the meeting place he pulled up smirking seeing so many heads turn to stare at his car. This wasn't one of his normal circuits but it was fine for tonight. Spotting Fuji and Masa he pulled up to them getting out.
"Hey."
"Dude why are we out here? This is far!"
"Shut up Masa." Ruka turned away then ducked down to stare at Daisuike inside the car, "I'm going to check out the competition." He pushed away from the car stalking off.
"Wow, what the fuck just happened?" Masa stared after Ruka then watched Fuji move to the car looking at Daisuike.
"So what happened?"
Daisuike was very tempted to ignore them and just stay in the car. The cold feeling from earlier was back with a vengeance. It didn't help that the hour ride over had been mostly in silence. With a frustrated sigh he got out of the car looking around. He didn't recognize anyone except Masa and Fuji. There wasn't a single familiar face from the other day.
He finally looked at Fuji. "I don't have the slightest idea."
Fuji snorted glancing over at Daisuike, "Something had to set him off. Ruka never just goes out and races. He likes to plan things. Only times he's done this he's upset about something." Shrugging he sighed, "But whatever. Do you want company again today or do you care if I race?"
Masa moved back and forth a bit looking anxious, "I don't wanna race! I don't know these guys!"
"You're gunna race Masa, especially if I don't. Ruka wants us to race with him, so we race."
Leaning against the car, Daisuike watched Ruka. He'd known he was upset but wasn't sure why. If he was as upset as Fuji said . . . he sighed, his gaze dropping to the pavement. He probably shouldn't have come. There was no doubt in his mind now that Ruka was mad at him.
He looked back up at Fuji and Masa trying to smile, "You guys should go have fun. Where's the fun in always racing the same people Masa? Got to be a little adventuresome. I guess I'll just wait here and see if someone has the race on video."
Fuji and Masa glanced at each other as Daisuike spoke and Masa cringed, "It's not that Daisuike it's-"
"Hush Masa." Fuji glared at him, "Go check on your car and get ready. The race starts in 5 minutes." Masa pouted before stalking off grumbling about assholes and how hungry he was.
"I don't know what's going on between you and Ruka but. . . Just apologize okay?" Fuji waved a hand, "I'm getting ready and I doubt people have video here Daisuike. That's only in our circuit usually or in major races." Nodding he headed towards his car seeing Ruka talking to a man, handing him cash. They were paying an arm and a leg for this race. Ruka was definitely buying them breakfast and quite possibly lunch and dinner.

Kenji nudged his brother motioning his head toward where the dark haired man was leaning against the sleek silver car. It was impossible to read his expression as he waited.
“Koji, I think I know that guy.”
Koji looked up from the laptop he was feeding numbers into. He glanced over and raised his eyebrows. “Wow, what are the odds of Kobayashi showing up here? He’s way off his territory.”
“Yeah, I should call Fujimaru, he’s been looking for this guy.”
“That fucker gives me the creeps. But we better make sure it is Kobayashi first or he’ll have our balls for wasting his time.” Koji shivered lightly. He’d heard the rumors of the things Fujimaru did to people who crossed him.
***
Daisuike watched them walk away wondering what he was supposed to apologize for. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He'd apologize even though he had no idea what he'd done. He just didn't want Ruka upset with him any more. How the hell was he supposed to watch the race anyway? It was dark and he had no idea where they were. He already felt awkward and out of place as it was.
Ruka sighed as he came back to the car. Seeing Daisuike leaning against the car his first thought was how good he looked and it made his chest ache a bit. Looking around he saw Fuji and Masa getting ready. Masa had the hood up on his car and was tinkering with the engine while Fuji was sitting in the driver seat watching the gauges. So Daisuike was going to be alone? He wasn't sure he liked that idea too much. Especially since they didn’t really know anyone here and were a long ways from more familiar surroundings. He stopped a few feet away from Daisuike. The pain was still there, a soft ache in his chest as he looked at those dark unreadable eyes.
"Ano. . . There aren't any video cameras for this race. You'd have to stand near the road and watch and honestly it's not safe. Do you want me to just take you home or I can get you a cab if you want. I think there might be a restaurant near here too if you don't want to leave. . ."
"I'll be fine. I want to watch. That last race I barely got to see anything." He smiled trying to hide the trepidation he felt. He was not going to know how things were going until Ruka crossed the finish line. He was going to be in the dark about everything, literally. "I'll be careful, though you better be as well. And Ruka . . . " Daisuike looked down for a moment pushing away from the car but not moving any closer. He wasn't going to let him go race without telling him. "I'm sorry. I know you've been upset and . . . I'm sorry."
Ruka blinked for a moment nodding slowly, "You really don't have anything to apologize for, but I'm also sorry." Moving to him he leaned close backing him back up against the car, kissing him gently. Reaching up he stroked his face softly smiling.
"There are a few people who are trying to rig up a system to view the race over there by the tables, so they might get it working. Doubtful though." He laughed softly, "Just be careful and I'll be extra careful."

Kenji looked at his twin for a moment thinking. “That is Sakata Ruka.”
Koji looked at him. “And that means something to me why?”
“Sakata Ruka is only the sickest racer anywhere around. He is a legend.”
“He looks gay.”
“Ano . . . yeah, from what I’ve heard he’s pretty easy and doesn’t care if it’s a guy or a girl as long as they are good looking. I just never would have thought he’d be the type to go for the bad boy.”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t make sense. Kobayashi Daisuike is a complete loner and he’s not into guys.”
“Maybe that’s not him.”
“We need to find out.” Koji didn’t like not knowing.
Kenji looked around and spotted a familiar face. “Ah, that might work.”
Koji followed his gaze not sure who he was looking at. “Eh? What are you talking about?”
“Well, we don’t want Kobayashi to know there are Fudoka here, ne? So why not let Hisoka find out for us it is him or not.”
“How is he going to know?” Koji frowned trying to figure out what his twin was thinking.
“The tattoo. Daisuike has a dragon on his chest. Don’t you remember, it’s how he got the nickname the Dragon of Kobe.”
“Oh, yeah I remember that. So what do you want to do?”
“I’ll just see if I get close, you get ready for the race.”
***
Reluctantly Daisuike headed over to the table Ruka had pointed out. The guys were cussing up a storm and the way they were arguing about how to do things he doubted they could get anything working. Hearing engines revving he looked back at the starting line. His heart was beating a little too fast as he watched Ruka pull his car into line and he said quick prayer to what ever deity would listen that nothing happened.
Walking over to the table he glanced around at the men. "Where is the best spot to watch from?"
One of the men looked over at Daisuike shrugging, "The middle of the road? There isn't a great spot. It's an expressway, they'll come around again." The man went back to working on the system again, pointedly ignoring Daisuike.
Daisuike narrowed his eyes. That was not what he wanted to hear. He wanted to be able to at least see part of the race.
"You know as much as the racers are paying I would think you guys would have a better set up."
The man snorted looking back at Daisuike, "I didn't see you paying for the race. The racers pay for the pot at the end of the race, not for the entertainment of their bitches. Now fuck off while we work on this, okama." Rolling his eyes he turned away muttering under his breath.
Daisuike blinked, momentarily shocked by the man's words. He'd never had anyone talk to him quite like that, and was surprised at just how much it bothered him. He took a few steps closer to the table, his hand automatically going to his pocket, his fingers finding his knife. His voice was hard bordering on unfriendly.
"Perhaps you misunderstand, if more people could view the race more people would come and you'd get more racers and more of a cut of the fee. This set up is amateurish at best. And I am no one's bitch.”
The man shifted back from his position looking at Daisuike, a slight smirk on his face. "You really think we give a shit if racers come or not? This is for our own personal enjoyment." Stepping forward his smirk grew, "And it definitely looked like you are someone's bitch."
A guy from across the table leaned forward greasy hair falling into his face, "Gotta agree. I mean come on, it's obvious."
"You guys chill out. I don't want a fight on my hands here." Hisoka sauntered over to the table smirking as the two idiots tried to slink away. He suppressed the smirk as he walked closer bowing shallowly, noting how the dark eyes followed his every movement.
"Please ignore their behavior. They do not know how to behave around newcomers it seems."
Daisuike bowed back, keeping his eyes on all of them as he did so. "It seems to me that they have more issues than just with newcomers."
"That they do." Glancing around Hisoka motioned for Daisuike to follow him, "I have a spot that we can view the race nicely from. By the way, my name is Hisoka and I'm in charge of these races. Why don't you talk to me about those ideas you were speaking of?"
Hisoka smiled at Daisuike before heading off towards his spot.
***
Ruka sighed. Honestly the race wasn't that great. These guys were terrible and they were doing stupid things. This was why they never raced outside of the circuit usually. Rolling his eyes, he decided to just blow past them all not wanting to waste his time with them.
"Ruka, these guys are stupid."
"I gotta agree."
"I know guys, sorry. I didn't think they would be so stupid."
***
Daisuike followed Hisoka glancing back at the other guys for a moment. He really didn't trust them at all. Once they got to the spot Hisoka had mentioned Daisuike turned to him.
"I'm Daisuike. I am here with Ruka, he is driving the silver Saleen. I'm guessing he's never been here before."
"It's a pleasure to meet you Daisuike." He smiled sitting down and tapping the spot near him, "No, Ruka has never raced in one of our races before. I have heard of him though. He is supposed to be an amazing driver."
Looking over Daisuike he smiled softly. The guy wasn’t that bad looking overall, "Again I apologize for those guys’s behavior, it wasn't acceptable."
***
Kenji smirked as he followed the two of them. He could hear everything they were saying in the cool night air. He got his phone out flipping it open once he heard Daisuike introduce himself. He’d just lost his bet with Koji but he didn’t mind. Fujimaru was going to be very happy with them. They might even get promoted out of this. Tapping out a quick text he thought for a moment before sending a second one. Closing his phone he found a close spot to watch and see what Hisoka was planning on doing. He was kind of interested to see what the Dragon of Kobe was like; if he’d fight or if he would just go along with what ever Hisoka did.
***
"Don't worry about it." Daisuike waved off his apology as he sat down. "Ruka is amazing. From everything I've heard he's not lost a race in a very long time. Having someone like him come to your races would draw a larger crowd. I know you probably make a percentage off the pool, but you would draw more racers if they knew there was going to be a crowd watching them. Some guys I'm sure couldn't care less, but for others the thrill of being watched is why they do it too."
"Hmm, you sound like you know what you're talking about don’t you. I like that in people." Hisoka smiled nodding, staring towards where they could see a good stretch of the highway. "I heard you talking about the video? I really do wish they could get it to work. I want to see what's going on." Stretching, he glanced at Daisuike looking him over slowly, "You don't seem the type to go to races, am I correct?"
"Ano . . . no I wouldn't normally. I . . . started going when I met Ruka. He's really into it and it's kind of hard not to get caught up in the excitement. I would never race personally, but I can see what the draw would be." Daisuike watched the road wondering if he'd be able to spot Ruka when they came by. "Video would be nice."
"Ah. . ." Hisoka smiled slowly before shifting to turn fully towards Daisuike, "So I take it you and Ruka are friends, ne?" Hisoka clicked his tongue before shifting closer looking back towards the race. He could see the headlights of the cars as they came around one of the turns. He still had a good ten to fifteen minutes or more. He took his phone out of his pocket as it vibrated and quickly read the text, smirking.
"I'll look into a better video system next time."
"Hai . . . that would help." Daisuike was distracted trying to watch for Ruka's car not really listening to Hisoka. He couldn't be sure, but it looked like Ruka was out in front, where he expected him to be truthfully. He wasn't sure where Masa and Fuji were. It was difficult to tell the cars apart in the dark.
Hisoka blinked then smirked shifting closer to Daisuike. He was completely consumed by the race, his guard down. It was a good idea to come to this spot. Leaning over he reached out grabbing the side of Daisuike's face turning it towards him pulling him close to kiss him, grabbing hold of one of his wrists to hold him still.
Daisuike gasped suddenly feeling lips on his. His mind went completely blank for a moment. Blinking he realized he was going to have to do something. He jerked back, his free hand coming up to shove at Hisoka's shoulder.
"Wh-what are you doing?"
Hisoka raised an eyebrow at him, "What does it look like? I'm kissing you." Grasping hold of Suke's wrist again he pulled him closer, grabbing the back of his head dragging him close again.
"And I plan to do it again. . ." And he did, this time harder than before, holding him as still as possible.
Daisuike went to shove the man away. This was very bad. He'd never imagined that he'd get into this kind of trouble. Pain shot through his side at the sudden movement and he couldn't stop the whimper. He had to get away from this guy and now. He failed slightly trying to pull back, the pain in his side making him feel weak.
"S-stop!"
Hisoka hissed pulling back glaring at Daisuike, holding him still.
"What? Are you really that Okama's bitch?" The harsh tone came out differently than all the other words from his lips before and his fingers dug into Daisuike's wrist. Hisoka jerked his arm hard and shoved him down flat on his back smirking at the gasp.
"You really think that he'll be faithful to you? He's a hashiriyas. He could have any man or woman he ever could want. Why would he want you?"
Daisuike stared at the man trying not to wince as fingers dug into this skin. How could this man he'd just met hit the very center of his fears? He glared trying to work his arm out of the man's grip so he could get up. "You-you don't know anything about him."
"Really now? He drives fast cars, has lots of money, is absolutely gorgeous and has a decently pretty boy for his toy." His grip tightened slamming Daisuike back as he leaned closer to him. "You really think there's much else? Why would he want someone who doesn't race and is only remotely beautiful as his lover? You're just a toy to him, so why would you want to stay so faithful to him?"
Hisoka grinned softly, reaching out to hold Daisuike’s head still, a fist in his hair, "Hmm?"
"I . . . I'm not a-a toy." Daisuike was shocked at how weak his voice sounded, how weak he sounded. He wasn't a toy. Was he? Ruka loved him, told him that all the time. He knew he loved Ruka, would do anything for him, but the words hurt more than he wanted to admit. Much more since they were things he thought himself. Hearing someone else say them felt very much like being stabbed, pain flaring through him that had nothing to do with the sharp ache in his side. He felt powerless against the onslaught of harsh words, the confusion seeming to rob him of physical strength as well.
Hisoka chuckled softly shifting closer leaning down over the bewildered man, "Of course not. He must tell you he loves you all the time, caresses you gently as he makes love to you, right?" Hisoka shook his head his eyes never leaving Daisuike, "That's how a player works. They wind you up to make you think you're important but once you're over your usefulness they dump you on your ass."
Reaching up Hisoka started to undo the buttons on his shirt, "It hurts, doesn't it. . ." He closed the distance capturing those lips again smirking to himself at the sharp intake of breath. The first several buttons were undone and he pulled back yanking the shirt out of the way. He smirked seeing the tattoo and the scars. Yujiro might find that interesting.
Hisoka smirked as he looked into the wide eyes. “I’m surprised Ruka will even touch you as messed up as you are. At least your face is decent. Though once he finds out you cheated on him he won’t want anything to do with you, ever again.”
Hisoka looked up as tires came screeching around the corner, the racers filing in. "I guess we'll just have to finish this later now won't we Daisuike." Smiling he stood heading off towards the racers.
Fuji blinked looking around not immediately spotting Daisuike. After a moment he saw Daisuike walking toward them from down the road a ways. Frowning deeply he then glanced over seeing Masa come in. Looking around he started to feel a bit sick. He was one of the first people and Masa was one of the last yet Ruka wasn't there.
"Daisuike!" Instantly Fuji rushed towards him, his heart beating wildly, "Where's Ruka? Did he quit the race?"
Daisuike was still feeling sick from what had just happened so when Fuji came running asking about Ruka he had a difficult time keeping his composure.
"He's not with you? I haven't-I didn't see him. Fuji . . . Fuji where is he?" A horrible sick feeling washed over him. If he wasn't with the other racers . . . "We have to find him. Now!"
Fuji nodded feeling as if the ground caved out from under him. "Masa!" Running back to his car he looked at the other as he slid into his car.
"I'm on it already." Scrambling he climbed inside his car grabbing the radio, "Oi! Ruka! Ruka answer me!"
"Daisuike, call his cell phone. He always has it on. Call him!"
Daisuike fumbled getting his phone out. His hands were shaking. If Ruka was hurt . . . he couldn't think about that. He had to focus on calling him. He hit the speed dial fidgeting as he waited for him to pick up.
"Please, please pick up Ruka."
Fuji stared at Daisuike watching as his face got pale. There wasn't an answer.
"I don't got anything from the radio!" Masa rushed over to Fuji looking panicked, "What do we do?"
"I'm going to call Hoshi. Maybe there's a way to track-" Fuji jerked hearing something from several of the racers.
"-fucking show off with his fancy car."
Jerking Fuji got out of his car stalking towards the group, it instantly parting for him. With his height most people were afraid of him and the deadly aura around him was making people not want anything to do with him. Reaching out he grabbed the racer that spoken slamming him as hard as he could against the nearest car, ignoring how his head banged against the car.
"What happened."
"Nothing-" Fuji slammed him against the car again then punched him shoving him back again.
"Let me rephrase that sentence. . . What did you do?"
Daisuike followed Fuji feeling as though all emotion had been drained of him. They had done something to Ruka. They were going to die. Within seconds he had yanked Fuji away from the guy and hauled him to his feet. He slammed him down on the hood of the car denting it. The knife was already in his hand, the point dangerously close to the man's chin.
"You will tell me exactly what happened and where Ruka is or your insides are going to be on the pavement."
There was a collective gasp and people stepped away. Fuji stared in shock seeing Daisuike completely change and he stepped closer hearing the man stumbling with his words.
"We-We fucked with him okay!? He- He was showing off and-"
"You realize he isn't joking when he talks about your insides right?"
"I- I- The last I saw him he was near Exit 45! No one saw him after!"
"Fucking hell! Daisuike come on- Daisuike!" He could hear Masa running towards his car, the engine roaring loudly.
"We have to go Daisuike!"
Daisuike stepped back glaring at the man. He looked a lot like the man from earlier but was wearing different clothes. He couldn’t worry about that right now, he had to find Ruka. He turned to follow Masa and Fuji trying to ignore the sick hollow feeling. Ruka had to be alright.
A/N: Special apology to those of you (Lisa, in particular) who might have been confused. Brohne posted the chapter with out fully editing it and it was taken down a couple of hours later. This is the new, fully edited chapter. Brohne apologizes for the mistake.
