Chapter 18


Derek and Lady Athena stare at each other after they both enter the ice room carrying Sakura body and lay him beside her son Kei.

“You know Lady Athena I always thought that you look a lot like someone I used to know a long time ago.”

Derek finally says.

Lady Athena smile.

“Maybe I am someone who you used to know back then.”

Derek let out a chuckle.

“It’s impossible for you to be that person since that person is a man and you lady Athena is a woman.”

She smile and turns and walks to stand at the other side of the room.

“Let’s get started we only have one chance to put their soul back in there body.”

Derek nod his head and they both close their eyes and say some spell and then a bright blue light surround the two bodies.

At the other end of the door Darien told Yuki that Derek only have a week to live.

Alex watches his friend cry and turn to Darien.

“Isn’t there anything we could do for Yuki? I can’t stand to see him like this.”

“If there was something I could do I would have done it already.”

Reply Darien to his beloved pet.

Lady Athena opens the door at that moment, and turn to look at her grandson sorrowful face.

“Yuki please come in your parent wants to meet you.”

He wipes his tear away and walks in to see both his parent talking to Derek.

Sakura stop in the middle of the conversation with Derek and turn to his son Yuki.

“Yuki!” He says and the boy before him nods his head and he rush up to his son and hug him tight.

“I am so glad to finally see you and hold you in my arms.”

Sakura says as tears of joy make its way down.

Kei walk up to his son and husband and wrap his arms around them both.

Yuki pull away from his parents and look up at them.

“I have been waiting for this very moment to reunite with you two Yuki say with a trembling voice as he wipe his tears away.

Sakura raise his hand and wipe the tears from his son cheek.

“Yuki I and your father have also waited for this very moment when we could be reunited with you as well.”

Kei look at his son and smile.

“You my son look just like your daddy with those ocean blue eyes.”

And then the three of them hug each other again.

Derek smile as he watches his pet and his parent hug each other somehow he never thought that he would be this happy for his beautiful pet.

Yuki heard a cough and look up to see Derek wipe the blood off his mouth, and in that instant he rush to Derek side.

Derek saw his pet worry looks and he put on a smile and gives him a hug.

“I am glad that you get to be with your parent now Yuki.”

Yuki stare into Derek eyes.

“Tell me that you aren’t going to leave me?”

Derek looks away from his pet eyes.

“I am sorry my beautiful pet, I do not want to leave you alone with our child but this is what happen when I break a contract.”

Kei walk up to his son and turn to look at Derek

“Yuki before you came in Derek ask me and your daddy if he could spend his last week alone with you and I and your daddy have agreed to his request.”

Sakura walk up to his son and give him a tight hug,

“Yuki go and spend time alone with Derek and give him the best last week of his life.”

He looks up at both his parents and turn to Derek.

“If I am going to spend time alone with you I want to go back to that little cottage with the swing.”

Derek smile and pull his pet in an embrace.




Kell still can’t believe that he is here in the Naga world and standing right before him is the Naga king.

“Now let me get this straight you came all the way here to ask me to let Derek off of his contract.”

The Naga king asks him not taking his eyes off of Kell.

“I was told that you were the one that Derek makes the contract with and only you could let him off.” Reply Kell trying to remain calm.

(Damn why is he so nervous around this man.)

“There is only one way for me to let Derek off of his contract.”

Kell force his eyes off the floor and look straight in to the Naga eyes, and his whole body shivers at the way the Naga king was looking at him.

He took a deep breath before he asks the question.

“Please do tell me what is it that I could do to get you to let Derek off his contract.”

The Naga king smile with anticipation he was hoping that the attractive man before him would ask him that question.

He walks up to Kell and bends his head down and whispers it into the man ear.

Kell face turns red like tomatoes.

“Wait why do I have to make that kind of contract with you just to get Derek off of his?”

The Naga king smile in amusement and turn to walk back to his throne.

“This is the contract that you will have to make with me if you want your dear nephew to be happy.”

“I will give you two days to think about it.”

The Naga king turns to his servant.

“Ren please show my guest to his room.”

His servant bows his head and led Kell away to his room.




Once Kell was in his guest chamber he went and lay down on the bed with his hand resting on top of his forehead.

Damn he did not expect the Naga king to request such a contract from him. His mother did warn him before hand that the Naga king will only break a contract if the other person is willing to make another contract or take over the other one.

Kell close his eyes and think about Nick his lover that has pass away ten years ago.

Nick was the only lover he ever has and after nick die he did not allowed himself to seek out other men.

Kell turn to his side and contemplate what he should do in this kind of situation. Then he got up and chanted a spell and his mother appear before him.

Lady Athena walks up to her son and gives him a hug.

“Kell tell me what is wrong?”

He looks up at his mother.

“The Naga king wants to make a contract with me.”

Lady Athena looks at her son with worry.

“Tell me what kind of contract the Naga king asked you to make with him?”

Kell look away from his mother before replying.

“He wants me to bear him a child, he knows that I am want of those rears being that are able to give birth without taking any fertile potion.”

Lady Athena was shock that the Naga king knew about her son ability.

And for once in her life she curses herself.

She look at him sadly and remember the day when Kell was born and she was told by the higher up that Kell has inherited her ability to get pregnant naturally.

"Kell I am sorry I shouldn’t have asked you to come here in the first place.”

He looks up at his mother and gives her a smile.

“Mother there is no need for you to be sorry what’s done is done, and I am here and I have decieded to help my brother and his family.”

Lady Athena got up and walks behind her son and hugs him tightly.

“Are you sure about this Kell we could turn back now and think of another plan to help Yuki.”

“I am sure that this is the right thing to do.”

“And I believe that Kei and his family deserve to be happy together.”

She looks at him

“What about your happiness.”

He smiles.

“I am happy already just knowing that my little brother Kei will be able to live a happy life now with his husband and son.”

Lady Athena stood up and gives her son a kiss on the forehead.

“I need to go now someone is coming.”

Kell nods his head and watch his mother disappear from the room.

A few second later he heard a slight knock on his door.

“Come in.”

The servant opens up the door and walks in with a tray of food and places it on the table in the middle.

Before the servant leaves his room he turns to him.

"Sir I do not think that it’s a good idea to summon your mother here without the Naga permission."

Kell eyes widen and he silently curse himself.
