Chapter 18
Just a quick couple of notes. This fic was written as a one-on-one RP (role-play), so the focus of the POV changes for the characters being played. My cowriter and I based this off of the famous manga "Kaze to Ki no Uta," though you don't need to know the story to follow this one.

As of now, this is the final chapter of this fic. My co-writer and I have some other ideas for continuing, but for now we’re working on some other projects. Thank you everyone for reading and offering your kind reviews. Please check out our other fics here, or visit us at www.angelfire.com/tv2/demons_lair . Chapter 18
Nathanial followed Sebastian back to their room, grateful that the day was coming to an end. The halls were all but silent--everyone had left that afternoon for the Easter holidater ter the morning services. The few that were remaining--only four students and a handful of teachers--had met for a second service before a quiet, solemn dinner. Now…they had the evening to themselves, and Nathanial’s mind had been wandering like it had the past two weeks.
//We have a week almost all to ourselves. Just…us.// He toed out of his shoes, undoing his tie as he moved to the wardrobe to prepare for bed.
Sebastian was already undoing his necktie with a relieved sigh. "Vacation at last," he chuckled as he undid his vest and tossed it aside. It landed half on the back of his chair, and after a moment slipped lazily down to the floor. But it was vacation, so he had plenty of time to pick it up later. "It's going to be even quieter this time, with everyone taking trips overseas."
"It will be strange," he agreed, watching as his fingers fumbled a bit around the buttons of his shirt. His mind had been occupied by the same thoughts for the last several days, and somehow they were building in the back of his head until his shoulders hunched and a knot formed at the back of his neck.
Sebastian glanced over his shoulder at the other. //He looks like he's thinking about something.// Deciding not to bring it up just yet he continued to undress, stripping easily out of his shirt and laying it to rest with his previously discarded clothing. He paused before reaching for anything new, sneaking an old box of shortbread cookies out of his drawer to munch on.
Nathanial finally gave up on the buttons, leaving them half-undone. Well.... "Sebastian?" He stared into the wardrobe, rustling through his clothes as if looking for something to keep from showing his anxious face. "Do you...want to stay together tonight?" It should have been an easy question--he'd asked before, after all, but somehow...tonight....
Sebastian couldn't help but chuckle at how timid he'd sounded just then; he thought they'd been more or less over that part of the game. "Sure," he answered easily. He trusted Nathanial to speak his mind eventually. "Want a cookie?"
Nathanial sighed, glancing back and shaking his head. "No, thank you." He finally pulled out a nightshirt and resumed his changing. //I've decided,// he said to himself, carefully smoothing the wrinkles from the knee-length shirt and bending down to pull off his pants and socks. //After everything...and with what's to come, I've decided.//
"Okay." //He's acting kind of funny tonight.// But still Sebastian decided not to comment, instead stepping out of his pants. "Do you have any plans for the break?" he asked casually, tugging his own nightshirt over his head.
//I cannot even think past this night--I have no idea what the rest of the break will be like.// He shook his head again. "Not really. For once my classes are being reasonable. It would be nice if the weather warmed, to be outside...." He suddenly felt as if he was babbling, and eventually fell silent. //I should not be so nervous--it is just Sebastian. Just like every other night.// Nathanial tried to calm himself back into a more civilized manner as he headed for the bedside table, slowly removing his glasses.
Sebastian frowned slightly to himself, but the expression was gone by the time he finished changing and turned to face his companion. "Yeah, it really would be. There are some really amazing spots on campus that you can only appreciate in the spring." He bounced lightly on the edge of Nathanial's bed. //What…is he thinking?//
Nathanial felt his face warm as he ran his fingers through his hair, disturbing the carefully placed strands. When he faced his roommate, seeing where he was, he almost lost his nerve. //But I've decided,// he reminded himself, eyes darting away briefly. //I've decided.// "Maybe we could...." He trailed off a moment, glancing across the room. "...stay in yours tonight...?"
Sebastian stopped, his eyes widening a little. //Is he…?// "We could," he replied evenly, a bit of excitement tainting his gaze, though he couldn't help feeling suddenly nervous himself. He watched Nathanial carefully through a few unruly strands of red hair. "If you want."
Somehow, seeing the faint eagerness in Sebastian's gaze helped--some foolish part of his brain had imagined that he would be rejected. He managed to lower his shoulders from their tense place near his ears. "I do," he said softly, brushing at his hair again.
Sebastian's eyes shone. //I almost thought…we'd never….// He almost wasn't sure how to proceed--this was his precious Nathanial, and it would have to be perfect. And…he was hesitating, because he knew it wouldn't be. It never was. Slowly, Sebastian pushed to his feet, and with a single hand on Nathanial's hip tugged him into a tender kiss. As if…testing.
That helped even more. Nathanial closed his eyes and leaned into the other boy. //Yes, this is much better. If we can keep it like this….// His hands rose, one curling around the fabric of Sebastian's shoulder, the other brushing faintly, encouragingly, against the other's jaw.
Sebastian shuddered, long and hard, as he leaned into the kiss. A moment later he gathered his composure back. //It has to be perfect.// "Okay," he murmured between them, his own grin starting to curl the edges of his lips. He turned slightly, baiting his roommate with a few gentle kisses as he led him toward his bed. "I'll take good care of you...."
Nathanial smiled tentatively as well, though…. He paused at the edge of the bed, pulling Sebastian close and touching their foreheads together. “Let me try, too,” he nearly whispered, head spinning a bit at their proximity. “I have…never done this, but I want to…take care of you, too.” //Please understand--I do not know how to say it right, but…don’t just leave me. Let me touch you too….//
Sebastian chuckled quietly. “I know. But don’t worry about me, for now.” He took Nathanial’s face in his hands and gently kissed him. “The first time is a little difficult.” //That’s why I have to take care of you. But…you’ll understand.// “Now shh.” To silence further comment he drew Nathanial into a long, passionate kiss, determined to make the boy’s head spin.
Try as he might to keep some control, Nathanial couldn’t help the shudder that went straight to his toes. //How am I supposed to do anything when you….// When he was finally allowed to breathe, it took him a moment to get his eyes to focus properly. Smiling faintly, he slowly lowered himself to sit on the edge of the bed, keeping his gaze on Sebastian’s face as his hands trailed down to rest on the boy’s slim waist. //Everything will be okay--I trust him.//
Perfect. Sebastian smirked as he leaned into another kiss, slowly tracing his lips lower as he sank to his knees in front of him. “Jusmembmember,” he teased as he reached up Nathanial’s nightshirt, “no one can hear us.” Meeting the boy’s eyes intensely he began to slide his undergarments off.
Nathanial held onto that gaze, breathing deeply to better keep his mind about him; even in the bathing room he had been shy about his body. But there was no way to hide now, and he ran slow fingers through Sebastian’s thick, soft hair as something familiar, shifting to better assist him. He flushed a bit at the other’s comment. //Though, that is a relief, I suppose. But…how loud can it….//
Sebastian was still smiling as he slid his palms over his roommate’s thighs, coaxing them ever so slowly to part as he edged closer. //Cry out for me. Let me hear that precious voice.// He touched Nathanial only briefly with his fingertips, pushing his nightshirt higher before lowering his lips to heated flesh.
Nathanial’s eyes widened when he realized what the other was about to do, sucking in a deep breath at the feel of his cool fingers. “Sebastian….” His fingers clenched in red hair at the first touch of warm lips, and he quickly released him to clutch instead at the blankets. //He’s…he’s going to….// Nathanial choked on a soft, anticipating murmur as he watched the other’s movements.
//I’m going to make you feel so amazing, Nathan.// Sebastian moved his lips slowly, tracing the boy’s length to its tip, teasing occasionally with his tongue. //Want me.// At last he took Nathanial into his mouth, relaxing easily around him. He had done this so many times, and he was tempted to use all his tricks on his soon to be lover, but he held back a little. //I want this to last, after all.// Gradually he edged closer, rubbing lightly with his lips and tongue.
Shuddering and gasping, Nathanial tried to hold back his voice, but it was quickly growing too difficult. His eyes had long since closed, and everything seemed so blurred that he was barely aware of what Sebastian was doing, save…how incredible it felt. His hips moved in small, desperate, unthinking movements. He’d never been paid such attentions before, and they were quickly bringing him to an edge he wasn’t prepared to face. “Se…Sebas--” Nathanial grabbed at his shoulder suddenly. “Wait…wait, I--”
//It’s all right, I know.// Sebastian kept his hands fastened around the boy’s hips, encouraging the shifting movements as he sucked a little harder. Even the sound of Nathanial’s strained voice was tightening his own flesh, and he was determined to see this through to the end.
Nathanial shook his head rapidly, trying to hang on to what stamina he had left. “Sebastian…wait….” But the boy seemed determined to remain right where he was, and there was little he could to stop him. His hands returned unthinkingly to Sebastian’s hair, tug him him closer as he felt himself beginning to fall. His voice rose in a broken cry as he curled forward. //Oh God…I….//
Sebastian tensed a little, but he was prepared--for which he was grateful to his partner--and with a faint smile easily swallowed the warm fluid. He waited until he was sure Nathanial was spent before leaning back, wiping his mouth discreetly on the back of his palm. “Nathan?” He touched the boy’s cheek. “You okay?”
Still trembling from his spent energy, Nathanial managed a faint nod. “Yes….” His fingers, still tangled in Sebastian’s hair, curled and loosened as he tried to call his senses back to him. //I never thought it could…but I wish he hadn’t…because now….// He lifted heavy eyelids, and upon seeing his roommate couldn’t help a gentle, tired smile. “Yes, I am okay,” he replied with more strength. He urged Sebastian close so he could lean in for a kiss, ignoring the unfamiliar, bittersweet tastat hat had been added to the other’s lips.
Sebastian rose slowly from his knees, urging Nathanial to lie on his back in bed. “Don’t worry,” he assured as he teased him with a few kisses. He didn’t press too much of his weight down on him just yet. “I’ll make sure you have your strength back before we do anything else. In the meantime, touch me.” He grinned as he slid his hand up Nathanial’s nightshirt to rub innocently at his chest. “Just like this--simply. Until you’re ready.”
Nathanial was suddenly and eternally grateful to his companion’s patience, and without hesitation he copied Sebastian’s movements. He paid particular attention around his collar and hips, hoping to find those sensitive places that Sebastian was always so adept at finding on him. His courage grew before his strength did, and he slowly began to urge the other’s nightshirt off. “Sebastian….” Nathanial trailed off, losing whatever it was he’d been about to say.
It took a little shifting, but Sebastian eased out of his shirt and let it fall off the bed edge. “Hey Nathan,” he asked casually, resting his chin on his hand as he continued to tease and tickle at the boy’s stomach. “Can I ask you? What…made you decide?” There was a subtle vein of seriousness behind his voice he hadn’t intended, and he smiled slightly to make up for it.
Nathanial closed his eyes a moment. “Too many things,” he replied in a murmur, then strengthened his voice to continue. “Most importantly…I want to. I…” He flushed suddenly. “I have…been thinking about it…for a while. Somehow tonight seemed appropriate, I guess, being Easter….” //The day of rebirth and forgiveness…. Oh Lord, give me strength.// Smiling faintly, he tugged Sebastian closer so their faces could rest easily beside the other’s. “I want to…because I care for you.” //Care…so much, Sebastian….//
Sebastian sobered, but only briefly. //I’m not going to get too sentimental--I have to be careful with him.// Instead he brushed the issue lightly aside with a faint kiss. “Have you…imagined it?” he asked, a bit of mischief seeping into his voice as he rubbed lower on Nathanial’s stomach. “How you would like to…go about it?”
Quivering, Nathanial admitted an honest nod. “A…bit.” He flushed darkly. “Not that there is much I can imagine, sinceave ave never….” He tilted his head for another kiss, back arching faintly at the touch. He met Sebastian’s eyes. The returning of his strength was making him feel strangely playful. “What about you?”
//I thought you’d never ask.// “I’ve thought about it a lot,” he replied--Nathanial had actually been the *only* one he’d thought about lately. “And there are a lot of ways we could go about it.” He bit lightly at Nathanial’s ear as he continued to move his hand. “We could face each other, so that I can still kiss you,” he murmured teasingly around one such kiss. “Or…you could have me up against your back, so I can whisper in your ear.” He chuckled. “Or even sideways, but that’s never been my forte.”
Nathanial chuckled nervously. “Somehow, it’s difficult to believe that.” Even as he joked, though, he was thinking of what Sebastian had said, face gradually darkening with every flashing image. “You are determined to make me scarlet, aren’t you?” he teasingly asked.
“You already are.” Laughing softly, Sebastian gradually pressed his weight more fully over his companion. “Well…let’s see what happens, shall we? It’s more exciting not to know.” He leaned into another full kiss--not his strongest, just enough to help Nathanial in gaining back his energy. In truth, he’d already decided on how he wanted to do this; he wanted to see Nathanial’s face, to watch every shift of beautiful emotion, to know--with certainty--who he was making love to. It…felt suddenly important to him.
Smiling around the other’s lips, Nathanial obediently sank back into the mattress, faintly noting that it was softer than his own. He ran his fingers through thick hair, keeping Sebastian close longer than his breath could hold for. When they pulled apart he was gasping and flushed, still enjoying the feel of soft strands around his hands. “You really…are beautiful,” he said, a bit breathlessly. The words made him blush even more, but…there was no other way to describe him. Nothing suiting enough, anyway.
Sebastian’s lips curled in a smirk. //I hear that a lot. But I like it better from him.// “And you’re magnificent,” he said in return, rubbing their bodies slightly together. He ran his hands over soft flesh as he continued to kiss him, his attentions growing gradually more forceful. He began to ease Nathanial’s thighs further apart so he could settle between them.
feltfelt different without the layer of clothing on his bare legs, and Nathanial shivered at the unfamiliar feeling. //I wish…I knew what he liked. I wish I knew how to…be more a part of this.// He did his best with what he did know, returning every kiss with equal eagerness and force, shy hands testing bare skin. //I am just…too new. I do not know what I can do.//
Sebastian caught on to that slight frustration easily enough; he had, after all, been with many virgins. “It’s all right,” he assured against Nathanial’s lips. But he had a feeling Nathanial would be more receptive than some of his other partners, so he decided to try giving him a little instruction. “Like this.” He coaxed the other to tighten his thighs around his hips, to move them slightly. “I like being held like this--I like being drawn in.” //Maybe just because I like being wanted by them.//
Nathanial’s eyelids fluttered, though he was grateful for his companion’s easy understanding. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he slowly wrapped his legs around Sebastian’s waist, hooking his ankles together behind him. He held his breath as he pulled the other closer and sought out a more familiar kiss. //That…feels good. Feels really good….// His right leg slid a bit higher to just below thin ribs; the chill it gave him made him moan softly. “That…better?”
Sebastian didn’t hear him at first; he was shivering slightly, his breath hissing through his teeth when their kiss ended. Nathanial’s innocent yet eager attentions were captivating him more than he’d thought they would, and he couldn’t help but arch his back slightly. //Is this still my precious Nathan? My lovely, charming little Nathan….// “Yes,” he replied at last, nibbling clumsily at Nathanial’s mouth. “Yes, you feel amazing.”
His smile widened, all too pleased by Sebastian’s response. //I can be a part of this, too.// Nathanial played his fingers along the other’s jaw, drawing him down for another kiss, deep and slow. Both legs shifted higher this time, then moved low once more, pulling them together until harsh fabric was scraping against his exposed flesh, making him moan softly.
Sebastian groaned across their mouths; Nathanial was turning out to be a fast little learner. “You little harlot,” he teased, though he was breathless with excitement. //I want him.// “I can’t wait,” he murmured as he b to to lift the boy’s nightshirt off, “to be inside you.” He began to urge Nathanial’s legs off him so he could reach for the bedside dresser.
Nathanial blinked at the sudden breath of cold air between them, shivering as he watched the other. “You can hardly do that from over there,” he joked lightly. He ran a hand along the top and inside of Sebastian’s thigh--the closest thing he could reach. //Inside…me. We really are going to….//
“Patience, patience,” Sebastian laughed as he tugged a bottle of oil free from his dresser drawer. He crawled back to Nathanial and emptied some of the contents onto his fingers. “Now, it’s going to be uncomfortable at first,” he warned, though his manner was still light and excited as he teased just the tip of his finger down between the boy’s legs. “But this is your first time.” He kissed Nathanial’s ear to reassure him. “The first time is always awkward--even mine. That’s why we’ll have to practice many, many times.”
He snorted lightly, tilting his head into warm lips, fighting another chill at the feel of Sebastian’s hands so close. “Just go slow,” he requested softly as he shifted his legs further apart. Just stay calm, he told himself. //It’s…probably going to hurt, but…I need to do this.// His flesh tightened as Sebastian moved against him faintly. //I…want him….//
“Shh.” Sebastian waited until his partner had calmed before slowly easing a single finger inside him. “Relax,” he whispered, continuing to nibble at his ear. “Just relax, Nathan, let me in. You’ll start to feel it soon.” He rubbed gently at Nathanial’s entrance to encourage him.
Nathanial bit his lip, holding in any sounds of discomfort as he tried not to move too much. It wasn’t quite painful yet, but there was the promise that it would be. He took deep breaths, eyes closed as he focused. //It will get better; I trust him, and it will get better.// His body slowly began to relax, though anxiety kept him shifting in uncertainty.
Sebastian frowned slightly; he’d been hoping Nathanial would take to it a little more easily than this, but he was patient. “Shh. It’s all right.” He kissed the other fully, hoping that familiar contact between them would help assure him. //Trust me, Nathan. I can make you feel so amazing, if only you’ll let me.// He didn’t try anything stronger yet, remaining with the same single digit until Nathanial indicated to him he would be all right.
It didn’t take much longer for his body to adjust, and Nathanial sighed as the last of the discomfort faded. His eyes opened again, blinking up at his roommate and catching the expressions on his face. “Sorry,” he murmured, spreading his hands over Sebastian’s back. “It’s okay now….”
“Didn’t I say not to worry?” Sebastian said lightly, nuzzling him. con continued to move his hand, probing a little deeper so that Nathanial would be able to experience some of the pleasure before testing him with an added finger. “It’s important to know your limits, you know. I don’t want to hurt you, and I don’t mind being patient.” He chuckled as he licked Nathanial’s ear. “You’re worth it.”
That brought his smile back, even as he fought the added strain on him. This time, the discomfort didn’t last nearly as long, and soon Nathanial sighed in relief. “Better….” He was starting to really relax when Sebastian…did something…and tiny sparks went up his spine and drew a soft whimper from him. “‘Bastian….” //God that…that feels good. Please, again….//
//That’s more like it.// “You like that?” Sebastian chuckled, turning his hand just slightly so that he could press more firmly into the boy’s sensitive flesh. He himself was already shifting and anxious, and he twisted so that it would be easier to slide over Nathanial once more when the time was right. “God, you’re so beautiwhenwhen you make that face.”
Nathanial wanted to deny his words, but another shifting of pressure promptly stole any breath from his lips. His hands groped over Sebastian’s back, urging him closer as his legs shifted anxiously. //I…want him to….// He met the other’s gaze. “Please,” he groaned softly, back arching slightly. “Sebastian….”
Sebastian shivered a little; he was just as eager, but he reminded himself to be patient. “Shh. I’ll be with you soon.” Distracting Nathanial with a few full kisses he eased his undergarments off, sliding between the boy’s legs. He used a bit more of the oil on himself--more than he usually did, just to be sure. //I don’t want to hurt him. Though, maybe there’s no helping that….// “Nathan,” he whispered across their lips as he carefully positioned them, urging Nathanial’s knees higher. “The more you relax, the easier it is. I’ll go slowly, all right?” He grinned breathlessly. “Don’t worry, I’m pretty good at this.”
Nathanial nodded faintly, though it was going to be difficult to do as Sebastian asked. He was tense all over, partially from anxiety and partially from how aroused he was. Licking his lips, he spread his own hands over his soon-to-be lover’s neck and chest. He took a deep breath, held it, then let it out in a slow, relaxing sigh. //It will be fine. I want this--I want him.// Nathanial met Sebastian’s eyes, and he couldn’t help a faint smile. //I want him. I…love him.// He tilted his head and pulled the other down for a slower kiss than before. The familiar scent and taste calmed him enough that he could bend his knees, pressing them around Sebastian’s waist--to draw him in. //Sebastian…I’m ready. Please….//
For the first time in a long while, Sebastian hesitated. Nathanial felt so innocent, and yet so warm and accepting of him, that he almost couldn’t go through with it knowing what lay ahead. //It’s going to hurt him. More than that…it’s going to change him. He won’t be my same Nathan anymore.// But Sebastian kissed him again, warmly, and gradually those apprehensions dissipated. //We both want this.// Slowly he eased forward, one hand braced against the mattress and the other steadied at Nathanial’s hip as he at last joined their flesh with a tiny gasp.
Nathanial separated their lips at their joining, as his concentration had immediately gone elsewhere. He held his breath, eyes clenched shut, though even then a tear or two slipped out to trail down his cheeks. It hurt--hurt more that he’d expected--tearing through his hips and up. Instinct made him clench around the intruder, but when that only brought more pain Nathanial forced himself to regain his rationale. //If I relax…it will get better.// Gasping softly, he tried to ease the tension in his body, starting by unwinding his legs from Sebastian’s waist and parting them across the mattress. //There, it’s better…it’s already getting better.// Nathanial forced his breath to even, face twisted with concentration.
Sebastian bit his lips together in patient restraint as he held himself still, waiting for Nathan to get used to it. Somehow, it hurt--seeing his Nathan cry like that from a pain he had caused. But he was all confidence and reassurances as he nuzzled Nathanial's temple soothingly. "Relax," he said breathlessly, clenching the fingers of one hand in the sheets as he fought to maintain his own concentration. He urged the other's knees higher once more. "Keep these up. It'll be easier on your back…." //When we really start to do this.// "Just relax, and let me...take care of you."
Nodding faintly, Nathanial easily followed the other's instructions, pressing his knees against Sebastian's ribs. It took several more moments of deliberate breathing to finally calm his body enough that the pain eased into a faint ache. Nathanial slid one hand through the other's hair, over neck, shoulder, and arm, finally finding his companion's hand and curling their fingers together. With that strength he opened his eyes again to face his lover. //Sebastian....// "It's...better," he murmured, shifting his hips faintly to test for himself.
Sebastian's shoulders crept up as he continued to keep still, allowing Nathan the time he needed to adjust. "Okay." Trying to keep the raw excitement out of his face he leaned forward a little, pressing Nathanial down into the mattress. "If it's tuch…uch…tell me to stop," he said seriously, withdrawing partially and then joining them once more in a slow rocking movement that stole his breath again.
His back curled a bit at the movement, breath held as if ready for more pain, but it didn't come. Nathanial sighed as a dull warmth began to spread through him instead, and his legs tightened around Sebastian'sst. st. "Mmm…it's okay," he said, barely above a whisper. "Keep…keep going...." //Before, he was able to....// He shifted, wondering if that thrill he'd felt earlier could be replicated. //Touch me...there...again.//
Sebastian shivered as he fell easily into a slow rhythm. Something was different, and it made his breath catch as they moved together. //My precious Nathan….// He slid a hand beneath the small of Nathanial’s back, supporting him a little better. //Help me, Nathan. Help me find you.//
Nathanial’s head fell back with a breathless moan. //Close…please….// His free hand groped over Sebastian’s back, twisting faintly beneath the other’s weight. Abruptly his legs tightened, pulling his lover deeper in a way that made him shudder with pleasure and a small, lingering pain. //Just…a bit more….//
Sebastian bit his lip, but he trusted his partner’s insistence, and with a thin groan he rocked harder against him. He was moving more slowly than he usually did, but with a feeling of tenderness and passion he hadn’t felt in a long time. Nathanial was just so accepting, so beautiful… He fumbled a breathless kiss over the boy’s lips as he thrust into him, deeply.
A slight twisting of his hips finally found whatever it was that Sebastian had touched before, and Nathanial couldn’t help a thick moan. The sound surprised him, and he blinked up at the ceiling. “Se…bastian….” Nathanial shifted his legs higher so his heels pressed into the tops of Sebastian’s thighs. “There…keep--ah!” His body tightened abruptly, curling at a wave of sudden heat. //Oh God, please don’t stop--please don’t.//
Sebastian groaned as well as flesh tightened around him, spurring him on. //He feels so good.// “No one…can hear us,” he reminded Nathanial playfully, and he rolled his head back with a long, strained cry as he continued to pump his hips. Now that he was getting to know Nathanial’s body better he had no trouble stroking where he wanted it most. “Hold me…hold me tighter.”
Nathanial’s eyes widened at the sound of the other’s voice. //Sebastian….// He licked his lips, fighting between concentration and just losing himself to the movement between them. //I never…thought it would be this good.// Reaching up, he pulled Sebastian down for a kiss, crossing his ankles so they pressed into the small of his back, trying to follow the rhythm of his hips.
The slight change of position made sparks flare in his sight, and suddenly he found himself reaching the end of his strength. “No--no not….” He groaned, thick and low, against Sebastian’s lips, shuddering with his release. “No….”
The tightening around him, the broken voice against his mouth shouldn’t have been enough to draw Sebastian’s climax from him as well; he was surprised when a familiar heat swept through him, jerking his hips in surrender. Gasping, he clutched Nathanial to him until they were both spent and trembling. “Nathan….” He sighed weakly, feeling more content than he ought to have.
Shivering with exhaustion, Nathanial gently urged their bodies to separate, allowing him to lower his legs to the mattress. There was a sudden jolt in his back, and he whimpered softly at the slight pain. “God, that….” His lips curled, and in a fit of affection he buried his face in Sebastian’s neck, holding him close.
Sebastian chuckled as he rolled carefully onto his side, pulling his…lover with him. “Are you okay?” he asked softly, just because he always did. He rubbed low on Nathanial’s back to help alleviate some of the soreness, even knowing it would probably be bad later on. “That….” He grinned against his hair. //He was pretty good, for a virgin.// “Nathan, you’re beautiful.”
Nathanial smiled softly, wiggling closer. He just…didn’t want to be far from Sebastian for a while. He arched his back faintly to encourage the light massage. “If you say so,” he murmured in reply, tilting his head for a soft kiss. “That was….” He trailed off, unable to find the right words.
“Yes, I know.” He continued to rub Nathanial’s back, meeting him in a few tender kisses before urging him briefly back. “Here--let’s at least get some blankets over us,” he suggested, smiling as he worked the top layer of sheets out from under them so they could be cleaned later. //We…really did it. I don’t believe it….// Halfway through his task he had to come back for another kiss to reassure himself it had actually happened.
Luckily, Nathanial only had to wiggle around to get settled--he didn’t think he could move too far at this point. And…he couldn’t erase his smile. He stretched out on the clean sheets, head rolling to the side with a quiet, contented sigh. //I’ve never felt like this. It…still hurts, just a bit, but it’s not so bad.// When Sebastian crawled back to join him, his grin widened, reaching out a hand in welcome.
Sebastian was a little taken aback by the gesture, and he quieted a bit as he drew a fresh blanket over them. He knew better than to ask too many questions--Nathanial would have plenty to think over for himself--and so he simply drew them together once more. //I suppose I have a lot to think about, as well.// “Don’t change, Nathan,” he heard himself say as continued to rub his back.
He paused, leaning back to meet Sebastian’s serious gaze. “Sebastian….” //You…really are fragile, aren’t you. What is it you are afraid of?// Though he would have liked to ask, he could feel his exhaustion creeping up on him quickly. So he only smiled, reveling for another moment in the sweet contentment they had made, and drew Sebastian close enough for a soft, slow kiss. “Thank you, for your patience,” he murmured, staying close so their lips brushed as he spoke. “You…are truly wonderful, Sebastian.” //And I love you,// he added silently through another kiss.
Sebastian shivered a little at the sincerity buried in that affection, but a moment later he was back to his grinning self. “By the end of our vacation, you’ll know just how wonderful I can be,” he promised, ruffling Nathanial’s hair out of place. “But for now you should get some rest--you’re going to be sore come tomorrow morning.”
He nodded and settled without complaint. “I know, but…it’s okay.” A faint, secretive smile crossed his face. Nathanial wiggled into an indentation in the mattress, fingers moving idly over bare skin before falling still, resting on warm flesh. He was about to say more when he was interrupted with a yawn. “Lord, I am tired,” he said with a soft laugh. He tugged lightly at Sebastian’s hair, encouraging him nearer. “Stay close,” he murmured.
Sebastian chuckled. “If I come any closer, I’ll be inside you again,” he teased, giving Nathanial’s backside a squeeze. He settled as well, and it was only when he was comfortable that he realized he’d ended with his head tucked between his roommate’s shoulder and neck. He smiled against soft skin. “Is this…okay?”
Nathanial sighed happily into thick hair. “Perfect,” he replied around another yawn. “Mmm, you’re warm….” His heavy eyelids slipped closed before he could stop them, and he decided it wasn’t worth the effort to raise them again. “Good night…Sebastian…” he murmured, already half asleep.
“Goodnight, Nathan.” Sebastian smiled as he relaxed within the warm arms, his own dreams quickly following. //Thank you, Nathan. My lovely Nathan….// With a quiet sigh he, too, was soon asleep.

Of Truth and Trust
