Chapter 17



Lady Athena approaches the man before her with love in her eyes.

“I was expecting you sooner Athena.”

The man said teasingly, as he open up his arms to embrace her.

She smile and went into his embrace.

“I am sorry for being late my beloved Phillip.”

Phillip pulls her away so that he could bend down and kiss her lips.

“Your lips are as sweet as ever.”

He whisper and pull her again in to his arms.

“Tell me Athena how is our sons and grandson doing right now?”

“They are fine and my plan for our grandson and Derek is also progressing nicely.”

She says with a smile.

Phillip smile sadly at the mention of Derek name, he remember the man who fell in love with his Kay and willingly give up his dragon heart to help them back then.

“Please do not look so sad Phillip I am trying my best to help him get back what he has given up for me and you that day long ago.”

He stares sadly into her eyes.

“Tell me is this the last thing that you have to do before you return back to me as Kay and not as Lady Athena.”

She places her hand on Phillip face and brings it down to her lips and gives him a kiss before giving him her reply.

“Once Derek says I love you to Yuki I will be able to tell our sons my true identity and also return back to your arms as the man you fell in love with all those years ago.”

Phillip kiss her back and lift her into his arms and carry her off into his chamber, and on the way he silently curses the higher up for giving his beloved husband such a task to fulfill.

Lady Athena chuckles at her husband.

“Phillip you know very well that the only reason I agreed to become a woman was to make up for the horrible crime my father have committed against you and your beloved first husband.”

Phillip laid her on the bed and sit beside her.

“You know Kay it was your father that is responsible for the murder of my first husband, and he should be the one to turn into a woman and paid for the crime he committed not you.”

She sat up and buried her face in his chest and wraps her arms around his waist.

“Do not worries Phillip the next time I will return to you as the young man you love and I will bring our sons and grandson along so that they could finally meet you.”

Phillip smile.

“I am looking forward to meeting my sons.” and they kisses and make love with each other.



Yuki sat up in bed just as Derek walk in to the room.

“Derek what are you doing here at this hour?”

“I want to show you something.”

Derek says as he walks up and picks the boy up in his arms and carries him down the hall into a secret chamber beneath the castle.

"This place is beautiful Derek.” Yuki say just as Derek put him down.

“Derek you must love roses very much?” He asks.

“No I don’t love them but someone I use to know a long time ago loves them very much.” Derek replies and stares sadly into space.

“Derek what did you want to show me? Yuki ask when he saw the sudden look of sadness in Derek eyes.

Derek took his arms and led him to the other side.

Yuki was surprise to see his daddy body lying on the ice bed.

“Derek why did you bring this body here from the ice caves?

Derek smile and embrace his pet.

“I just talk to Darien and I must say that I was surprise to see him and have him talk to me again after what I did to him.”
Yuki eyes widen.

“What exactly did you do to your brother Derek?” he asks.

Derek smile at his pet.

“I did something that I shouldn’t have done and I have also apologized to him already.” he added when he saw the angry look on his pet face.

“That’s good to know Derek,now tell me why you bring this body here? He asks.

Derek smile and hug his pet.

"He is your daddy isn’t he?”

Yuki spin around and stare at Derek in surprise.

“How do you know that he is my daddy?

“Darien told me he heard it from Alex and he decided that I need to be told about it.”

"What are you going to do to my daddy?

Derek smile and took his pet hand and walk them up to the body.

"I want to give you back your daddy.

Yuki smile in joy and hug Derek tight.

"You really mean it you will give them back to me.

Derek nods his head.

“Tell me Yuki where is my lavender crystal that held your parent souls."

Derek asks his pet.

“My grandmother has it.”

“I need to get it back from her if I am to return their souls I need that crystal.”

Yuki smile and hug Derek tighter.

“We can leave tomorrow.”

Derek smile sadly and wipe the blood from his mouth.

“Tomorrow will be fine.”

Yuki buried his face in Derek chest in happiness that he will get to see his parents, that he did not notice Derek action to wipe the blood from his mouth.

Derek closes his eyes and holds his pet tightly in his arms.

He could die peacefully now knowing that at least he could give his beautiful pet back his parents.




“Darien what’s wrong why are you crying? Alex asks as he walks up to his husband.

“My brother is going to die soon.”

Alex was shock to hear that.

"Why?” that was all Alex could manage to ask.

“Because he went and fell in love with Yuki when he isn’t suppose to fall in love with anyone he broke the contract he made a long time ago.”

Alex walks up and embraces his husband tightly.

Lady Athena heard everything from where she was standing and she silently curse herself for forgetting the contract that Derek had made way back then to save her life.

She quickly turns away and went to find Kell.

There is only one way to get Derek out of the contract and for that she will need Kell to help her one last time.
