The Great Escape?
All at once, it was as though everything in the city became so very clear to him. All of the cheating, the lies, the scandal, the sex, it was all visible through his eyes, like he was in the thick of it all. Every pulse of life in the otherwise small town, beat so clearly in his ears, a phenomena Ren had never experienced.
He felt sick.
He lurched his body over, hand taut on his stomach as he emptied the contents of his stomach onto the concrete walkway. His body trembled, he held himself up by his hands as another wave of nausea washed over him, and tidal waved to the ground in the form of stomach acid.
"Well?" The grumble of Dante's voice was impatient, having waited the last thirty minutes for Ren to scan the city. He was getting tired of waiting.
"They're not...they're not here."
"Look again."
"I...I can't..." Vomit was already threatening to spew again from Ren's mouth. "I...I feel like I'm gonna blow...."
"Look again." Dante grasped Ren's slender shoulder, hoisting the boy back to his feet and staring him dead in the eye, black to crimson. "I have no time for your self-pity."
"I'm trying as hard as I can god dammit! And for the last fucking time, they're not in this city!"
"Then, where are they?" His grip tightened, almost enjoying the flinch of pain it earned from Ren.
"I don't know."
"You're a Seer, now look for them. Phoenix has the ability and so do you."
"Phoenix has had his power for a hell of a lot longer than me." Ren met Dante's glare. The bickering between the two ceased, but the glares held more power, more contempt. Dante angered that Ren seemed to be lazy in the situation. Ren angered that Dante was asking far too much of him.
"Fine. But keep this in mind. They kidnapped my little brother believing him to be the Seer. I can't imagine they'll keep him alive when they find out he's not." With a gruff, Dante turned away, propping his body against a light pole on the side of the street, the dim glow casting an almost gentle shimmer on Dante's dark features.
"I'm sorry..." Dante's words had affected him. He hadn't worried about it before, he assumed Kyrios would be fine. But, Dante was right. If, and when, they found out he wasn't really a Seer, they would kill him. "We'll find Kyrios. And...Phoenix."
"Like I care about either of them. I'm searching for the bastards that double crossed me. Nothing more."
Sighing, and unbelieving just how much of an asshole this man could be, Ren hated himself for finding the man even remotely attractive. He bore a heavy resemblance to Kyrios, though both hated to admit it, only his hair was much longer, hanging in ebony tinsels down his face, the rest pulled back into a pony-tail that cascaded down his rippling back. He wore an almost cliched leather hunting garb, that was snug against every hard muscle of his body, the top of it open and exposing the tanned pectorals that lie just underneath the tight shirt. His body was far more trim than Kyrios', and Ren knew there was probably no hair on Dante's body, opposing the thin trail just below Kyrios' navel. He also lacked the half-shaved stubble on his chin that Ren loved to have scratch his belly as Kyrios traveled down his body. His face was clean, freshly shaven every day, though he likely wasn't a very hairy man.
His eyes explored. The sharp sting of the needle work on his back reminding him of his fidelity.
"What're you looking at?"
"Nothing."
"You're checking me out? Tired of my brother already?"
"Go to hell." Ren darted his eyes away, refusing to give the bastard anything more to tease him with. He would never be tired of Kyrios. But, he was aware Kyrios occasionally checked out other people. Innocent, and he was staring at someone very similar to Kyrios, which was more innocent.
All too quickly, he found his slender form pulled hard against the hunter, his hands pinned to his back. The husky scent of the older demon wafted into his nose, eliciting a shameful moan from Ren. Soft lips pressed to his head, and a very hardened length pressing into his thigh. "You did feel very good back at the ruins, responding to my touches."
"Like I said before, go to hell." He tried to pull away, though Dante proved to be much too powerful.
A roll of his hips, hot breath now ghosting across his neck. Ren let out a soft moan, again trying to pull away. "Don't pretend you don't want me. We have some time before Ayase gets back. Just you, me, right here in the middle of the street with nothing but the moon to look at us."
"You have Phoenix, I have Kyrios. Now get off me, and go fuck yourself." Ren pulled away just enough to push his knee to Dante's groin. He didn't care how powerful the demon was, a sharp blow to the nether regions would incapacitate a god.
Breaking their contact, Dante brushed his lips to Ren's, pleased that the little Seer could only shudder. "Such a tease..." He nipped Ren on the nose before pulling away and setting himself again on the lamp post. He watched with interested dark eyes as Ren flushed, panted, and fought off arousal. He'd barely done anything too. "By the way..." He broke Ren from his concentration of remaining flaccid. "Don't say I have Phoenix. He knows where he stands."
"That why you're trying so hard to find him?"
"I already told you, I'm seeking vengeance on the damn cult that stabbed me in the back."
"Really? Cause you seem to be a little to persistent for just that. After all, you could take them down any time, right?"
Dante fell silent. Ren's eyes widened as Dante closed his own. Had he just won that argument? Damn, he'd never felt so proud of himself, actually silencing a man like Dante. Just as he was wondering when the guy with his Nobel Peace Prize for shutting Dante the hell up was going to arrive, a familiar partner to the demon hunter appeared.
"Hiya!" Ayase squeaked, giving Ren a surprise hug from behind. "Sorry for leaving you with Gorilla man, he didn't try to kill ya did he?"
"Ayase...." Dante growled.
"Aww, chill out Dante. I found out that a few men carrying some tanned guy with white hair, and a guy with black hair out of the city. The guys said both were incapacitated."
"You find out where they went?"
"Well...most guys out this late at night are usually drunk, but I did find a few similiar accounts of these people heading out through the west exit of town. They said they didn't try to stop them, because they just figured the guys were drunk out of their mind."
"Humans..." Dante said, as though it were some running joke between himself and Ayase.
"Yeah, yeah, what're you gonna do? Anyways, I figured we could leave out of the west exit, and see if Ren can't find them after we go a little ways."
"That's fine with me." Hold on Kyrios, the continual mantra Ren chanted to himself.
"Ahh, fuck my head hurts!" Kyrios gripped his head, the gentle splash of water in the damp, stonewall cell was like a damn heavy metal drummer in the middle of the room, playing a solo for some big concert. The stone wall and the heavy iron door was guarded by a single man, dressed casually but armed like some medieval knight would cause a problem in escaping. Not to mention the headache Kyrios currently suffered from. He could barely remember what happened, just the sweet smell of ether as he was forced into sleep. He woke up in the dungeon like cell, a naked Phoenix on the floor next to him.
Phoenix had woken up, tried teleporting away only to find his magic was being jammed with something. Kyrios provided the Seer with his shirt to wrap around his waist, a decision he was regretting as the stale air of the prison cell was chilly, and nipping his bare upper torso.
"Where are we, Mr. Kyrios?"
"Dunno."
"Were you kidnapped too?"
"No, I just sleep here from time to time. I find the foul stench in the air and armed guards to be soothing." Dumbass Seer.
"How...are we going to get away?"
A wolfish grin danced across Kyrios' features. "I think I've got a couple of ideas." His eyes scanned Phoenix's limber body. "You'll have to play along."
"Okay! What's the plan?" He found himself pinned to the floor, Kyrios' heavy weight settled on top of him. "M-Mr. Kyrios...what're you?"
"Play along!" He whispered in a deep command. "Trust me on this." He kissed down Phoenix's neck. "Moan real loud, doesn't matter if it's fake or not."
Confused, but figuring Kyrios would have some reason for this, Phoenix parted his plush lips, a soft moan escaping them. The moan was more real than he'd wanted, but Kyrios' lips pressed against his neck, his calloused hands raking down his body was very pleasant. Kyrios kissed downward, Phoenix losing himself in the soft kisses along his body, a sharp pinch to his nipple reminding him to keep moaning.
"I-It- is soo good!" That was a little too fake.
"Ooooh, yeah baby! We're gonna go all the way!" Kyrios couldn't exactly boast his acting talents either. Still, an uncomfortable shuffling behind the door was all the response Kyrios needed.
"Quiet down in there!" The guard banged the door with the butt of his spear.
"Make us!" Untying the shirt from Phoenix's waist, Kyrios descended down actually pleased by the large erection Phoenix was sporting. "Oooh, you're so hard Phoenix. I don't think I can handle you all by myself! And you're soooo soft...." He drew hard circles around Phoenix's navel with his finger, kissing along Phoenix's inner thigh.
"Another pair of hands would be great!" Phoenix cried out, actually very much aroused as Kyrios wrapped his hand around his weeping member.
A deep swallowing. "I-I said quiet down..."
"Hey guard guy!" Kyrios rearranged himself and Phoenix, sitting himself on the ground and pulling Phoenix into his lap, facing away from himself. Phoenix blushed as his own heated skin was met with Kyrios, the hard ridges under the tanned skin of his back. Kyrios spread Phoenix's legs, the tanned Seer's puckering hole now exposed to the leering eyes of the guard on the other side of the door. "Doesn't matter if you're straight or not, you telling me you don't want a piece of this?"
The door opened, the guard already pulling his throbbing erection from his pants and pushing himself over Phoenix's body. "He's so cute..."
Delivering a rather harsh blow to the guard, Kyrios tossed the now unconscious cult-member to the ground, gently setting Phoenix off of his body. "Alright, let's get out of here."
"J-Just a minute...."
"Hah! I'm so damn good!" Kyrios took a moment to bask in his own victory of making Phoenix hard as hell. He couldn't help but wonder if his brother could boast the same. "Here, take this guys clothes, I'm putting my shirt back on."
"What do we do now?" With shaky fingers, Phoenix peeled the rather basic clothes off of the guard.
"You remember when you single handedly took down the headquarters?" Kyrios pulled the tight shirt over his head.
"Y-Yes..." Phoenix flinched at his unstable memory.
"Well, the idea's sort of the same. I've got a babe to get back to, afterall."
"We're in the middle of the damn woods!" Dante barked, his rather cold glare darting back to Ren. "I swear to whatever god there is brat, if you're leading me around, I'll blow your brains out!" They'd gone off the road quite some time ago, and were now wandering aimlessly through the woods, the thick brush and wild animals not serving as good path markers.
"I'm telling you, I sense Kyrios, and Phoenix here."
"I'm inclined to agree with Dante on this one sweetie. I think you messed up." Ayase sighed, brushing her sweat slick bangs out of her face, the sweltering heat of the forest causing her own temper to rise.
"I didn't mess up!"
Dante's powerful grip took hold of the collar of Ren's shirt, hoisting the boy off of his feet and to eye level with his own taller form. "You're sure?"
"Yes! Damn you're dumb!" Why was he so satisfied that he'd really just pissed Dante off? Ayase's laughter wasn't helping things either.
Taking a deep breath, setting Ren back on the ground, Dante turned to face away. The vein throbbing in his neck seemed to stop pulsing quite as violently as Dante trudged onward. "Let's go then."
"Shhh...." Kyrios held Phoenix close to his chest, hand muffling the Seer's mouth as his azure eyes peered around the corner. Two more "guards" though they were dressed as casually as the first who was now lying naked in their cell, moved through an adjacent corner to the old stone hallways. Kyrios' eyes traced the walls, an occasional pattern etched into it, but it was hard to tell with decades of dust gathered onto it. It was an old ruin of some kind, the Boss would love it, and giving the flora and fauna that sprouted to life through cracks in the stone floor, it was probably in the woods somewhere. The hallways were illuminated by torches arranged on the wall, which added a malevolent glow to the surrounding, and making every vine that squigled into the hallway appear like some vicious snake, and every vicious snake just seemed like some kind of vine.
"They're gone..." Releasing his "victim" Phoenix took in a sharp breath of dust polluted air. "What the hell is this place?"
"Dunno..." He placed a half-hearted punch to Kyrios' chest. "But you didn't have to choke me, jerk..."
"Sorry, but you were being such a damn chatter box, you were gonna get us caught. Did you always talk this much?"
A soft streak of crimson crossed Phoenix's face. "I'm different now."
"Well, whatever. Let's just get out of---" All at once, Kyrios found his positioned reversed, and he was pulled against Phoenix's chest who pressed his back to the wall. Phoenix's hand covered Kyrios' mouth, the faint sound of two men talking as they came back through the hall they appeared in. They didn't stay though, making a half-assed check before turning and going back, talking about their newest hot date, or something of the sort. After they were out of ear shot, Phoenix released Kyrios, who shot the Seer a rather nasty glare.
"You did that on purpose!"
"So did you, you chatter box!" Phoenix taunted.
"Whatever, let's just find the leader and then tear this place the hell apart!"
"Isn't that unneccesary?"
"So was kidnapping me. They've gotta learn their lesson." In the back of his mind, he knew he was doing this so they wouldn't pursue Ren anymore.
"What the hell!?" The voice echoed through the hall, Phoenix and Kyrios darting their attention to the guard who'd swung back through the corridor to find the two talking.
"Aw shit, oh well, may as well start with this one!" The guard didn't have time to draw his knife, Kyrios already having delivered a sharp blow to his stomach. "Let's get moving, Snowballs!"
"Stop calling me that!"
Ayase sighed. There was a thick tension permeating the already humid air, and she wondered which of the two, Dante or Ren, would be the first to break of the handle and tear the other apart, though she worried if it was to be Ren. He might not survive. At the same time, if Dante was the one to go crazy, neither her nor Ren might survive.
"Smoke?" Ren's eyes followed the smoke column now emerging from deeper in the woods.
"Don't tell me it's a forest fire. Where's that fuckin' bear in a ranger's outfit when you need him?" Ayase huffed.
"Let's go." Dante waved Ren and Ayase on.
Hurrying deeper into the woods, the smell of smoke becoming stronger with each step, they came upon some old ruins, cracked, destroyed and crumbling, though the most notable feature were the flames and people screaming as they escaped the ancient structure.
"Get away!"
"They're crazy!"
"That guy is unreal!"
Just brief notes that the people made as they brushed past three and fled. From the entrance, surrounded by a royal guard of flames, emerged Phoenix and Kyrios, Kyrios having swung one of the people over his shoulder proudly.
"You must be joking..." Shutting his eyes and sighing, Ren wondered why he was ever worried to begin with. This was just Kyrios' style.
"Alright!" Pushing the face of the poor man into the ground, Kyrios planted his knee onto his prey's back. "Your leader here? I got a couple of things I want to say."
"No, I swear! He was coming by later!"
"Why don't I believe you?"
"Because it's true, dipshit." Dante took the opportunity to make his presence known. "Their leader is too classy of a person to be caught dead in a place like this. He's more of a high-living kind of person."
"Oh really? You know him?" In Kyrios' lack of paying attention, the man used it to his advantage to unhinge himself from Kyrios' body and scamper away.
"Dante!" Phoenix, completely ignoring the situation, hurried forward and pulled the older man close to him. "I missed you."
"Get lost. You got yourself kidnapped." Despite his rather harsh words, Dante did nothing to push Phoenix away.
Smiling, realizing he had his own lover to contend to, Ren knelt next to Kyrios and placed a kiss on his cheek. "Let's talk about this somewhere else, okay?"
After letting out a rather disappointed breath, Kyrios nodded, hoisting Ren to his back and making a sprint out of the forest. Police would show up soon to investigate the fire, and no one wanted to take that trip to the station.
After establishing that the leader was not among the people scampering out of the burning ruins, and ducking the polices eyes as they escaped the scene, Dante, Ayase and Phoenix left, on promises that they wouldn't attempt to take Ren any more, and they would deliver any information they could on the cult to Ren and Kyrios, as long as the two promised to do the same. Tired, slightly nauseous, and long over due for some sleep, Ren collapsed onto the bed immediately after returning to the hotel room, snuggling under the covers and calling the angel of sleep to his side.
"Aww, you're going to sleep? I had fun tonight, I was thinking you and I---" Kyrios slipped under the covers with Ren, pulling the smaller frame snug to his own, scraping his teeth over the nape of Ren's neck. "I'm all hot and bothered, with no where to put this..." He pressed his erection against Ren's bottom.
"I'm glad you're safe." Twisting his body, Ren climbed on top of Kyrios and planted a series of chaste kisses on his lips. "I was really worried."
"About me? You know better." Kyrios' hands scoped Ren's body.
"Can we just get some sleep right now? I...I know you're horny and all but..."
Running his fingers through the silky brown locks, Kyrios purred as he kissed Ren on the forehead. "Sure babe, you're probably tired. We can fuck all day tomorrow."
"Promise?" Ren giggled.
"If you do."
Silver bangs hung over his crytal blue eyes, brushing them aside as the men in the waiting area all sat in line for their turn with the great lawyer Oso Trunea. All upper class pricks who threw money around and occasionally got in trouble for it. Where did they turn? To their money of course. It made him sick, and he was stuck working for the bastard. In more than one way.
As though his thoughts were heard, the phone rang, the very pricks all alerted to the office's jingle, though quickly returning to their pathetic gossip after they realized what it was.
He answered, "Hello, Trunea lawfirm, Piscea Alrun speaking."
"They got away."
"I understand. Thank you for your call and I shall inform Mr. Trunea." Damn it all. He hung up the phone, leaving his desk to move back to the main offices. Oso would hate this. The two Seer's, Phoenix and Ren had escaped. Of course, there would be hell to pay for this, and Piscea knew he would probably be the first to receive retribution. Oso had a temper.
Entering the open air main office, almost made completely of glass with a stunning view of the underhanging city that Trunea seemed to own. Hell, with almost every major politician in the city under his thumb he did own the city. But it wasn't enough, the man was hungry for more power. Power he would have. The city, not enough, the state, not enough, the country, not enough. Piscea often wondered if the world would even be enough. As he approached the man, reclining on his desk his eyes closed, he drank in the masculine features of the man, the black hair swept back with a few stray bangs sweeping over his face. His nap, the reason the waiting room was currently backed up to the door.
"Mr. Trunea." Piscea chimed. His named called, Trunea's eyes opening, the crimson orbs adjusting to the oncoming light.
"Yes, Piscea. If it's an appointment, you know better than to interrupt me while I'm sleeping."
"Mr. Trunea...the two Seer's....they escaped..."
Trunea's crimson eyes widened, before narrowing in anger. Piscea wondered if he would be able to slip out before the lawyer made him into the closest punching bag.
It was unlikely.

A/N: A third Seer!? Honestly, when I started writing this chapter, even I didn't see it coming. Towards the end, a spark of creativity hit me, or maybe it was lack of creativity. Who knows? Anyways, short A/N this time, thanks to all who read, enjoyed, rated and reviewed. I appreciate the feedback from you guys. On to the preview I suppose.
Teaser: Kyrios has a kid? And who is this Oso Trunea that seems to be the head of the Eyes Cult. His assistant, Piscea, hatches a scheme to take the two Seer's again, but what's his agenda in all of this?
He felt sick.
