Epilogue
I would like to thank everyone for taking the time in order to read my story. I would like to thank Falcon and her reviews, with which I was able to draw strength from. I hope all of you had a good time reading this as I did writing it. This is Snidne, over and out.
Epilogue
The sun shone meekly in the sky, as clouds covered most of the light from reaching the hillside that morning. There was a stone, upon it an engraving. And sitting before it was John Aaron, looking at it then to the sky. \"Dad... Mom... I can\'t believe it really been so long... Ever since my journey ended. Hard to believe that six months passed so quickly.\" It truely was hard to believe that half a year had gone by in what felt like an instant.
Soon enough he heard someone walking up the hill to him. John turned to see Jessica smiling as she went. John smiled back. It was only five months since they were married, but yet it felt like so much longer. \"Here you are. Just as I thought.\"
\"Morning to you too.\" John said smiling, giving her a kiss. \"What are you doing out here?\"
\"Getting some exercise, and looking for you of course.\" Jessica smiled. \"It\'s good for me, and for the baby.\" With that, Jessica placed her hands over her lower belly. John placed his own hand over hers and smiled. \"We still haven\'t even thought of a name.\"
\"Her name will be Monica.\" John said confidently.
\"Are you so sure it\'s a girl?\"
\"Well, what\'s not to believe?\"
Jessica laughed a little at this, as they walked back down the hill. \"We have guests by the way. Visitors from out of town.\" John seemed surprised by this. He hadn\'t expected anyone to come by, especially this early.
As they made thier way back to the house, three people walked ot them, and only when they were a few yards away did he recognize them. \"Resas! Aivon!\" There, standing tall was Resas, the same he had looked when they first met in Aseli. Aivon too looked the same, although his tattered cloak that covered his body was replaced by a brand new one. His gloves too were new, and a bit bigger as if to make up for his still growing attributes. The woman who held his hand could only be Sophia.
\"John! Good to see you again!\" Resas said happily. \"How have you been?\"
\"Great, thanks. How\'s everything going with you Resas?\"
\"Couldn\'t be better! Business is great and doing well.\"
Aivon, who remained silent for awhile, placed out his hand which John shook. \"Glad to see you\'ve been keeping well. This is Sophia.\" The woman smiled and nodded her head.
\"Nice to meet you Sophia.\" Jessica said smiling.
\"The pleasure is all mine.\" Sophia responded. Together they walked back inside the house, talking. Aivon, John, and Resas watched them go.
\"So, congradulations.\" Aivon said.
\"Thanks. Say Aivon, I suppose you haven\'t heard from-\"
\"No, nothing.\" Aivon said shaking his head. \"I don\'t think you have either.\" John shook his head too. They had kept an eye open for Midas ever since he left, but no sign of him remained. Resas looked to them both strangely.
\"What are you two talking about?\"
John and Aivon looked to each other and had the sudden urge to laugh. \"Come on inside, I\'ll tell you the story.\" John said smiling.
They all walked back outside, unaware of them being watched. A man wearing black, with a cloak and scarf, was watching them from the hill that John had come down from. He placed his hand over the moon shaped clasp on his cloak and slowly ran his fingers down to the pendant he wore. It glowed a mysterious dark light as he felt the cool metal in his hands. Turning away, Midas vanished into nothingness.

As promised, this is a small portion of the Prologue to the sequel of this story. The title of said story is pending, but right now I shall call it, \'Memories of the Forgotten\'. Note this is not the FULL Prologue, only a tiny glimpse of the new plot and all new challenges. Please note that. Till then, I\'ll be seeing you!
Prologue(Part)
The room stood dark, save for candles placed in a large circle. They glowed a strange bluish light, unlike normal light. On the floor was a large circle drawn in blood that had several designs inside it, along with the writings of demons, also in blood. Standing before the circle was a person in a seemless black robe and hood. From somewhere in the darkness a voice came.
\"Are you sure this will work?\"
The hooded man seemed to scoff at the question and shift, but answered all the same. \"Of course. I\'ve waited years for this to happen. In twelve days time, the new moon will rise. And once the ritual is complete, power unimaginable will be unlocked.\" He crossed his arms. \"We need a pure soul to complete the ritual and I have the perfect one in mind.\"
He thought of the young child he had observed. She was perfect, both with her purity and the spark of magic alive in her, although she was nowhere near old enough to harness the incredible magic power within her. Her parents were also magic casters, one of them being a Destined in fact. This information made her more special then ever, as Destined were now all but gone. So few remained, ever since the Pact of Seven began to wipe them out one by one. But they were foolish, playing with power they neither knew nor understood. And in the end this power destroyed them. But he would not make the same mistake.
Determined to succeed was the reason that brought him here now, to perform this small, minor task. For he needed a demon\'s power to help with the ritual.
\"No, I mean this... resurrection thing.\" The voice in the darkness said clearly, intrigued.
\"Yes. While the process may not work with humans or angels, it is still effective with demons. They can be brought back from the chaos they are damnned to. Observe.\" The man reached out and placed his hands over the crimson colored circle. On the back of his left hand was a strange symbol. It looked to be in the shape of a dragon. \"Great dark powers, I command you... reawake this demon from slumber, and have him serve me!\"
A bright light shot out, and a rushing wind. As the light shot out, for a breif instant the origin of the voice in the dark could be seen, wearing a strange red garment and black pants made for quickness and stealth. He wore black shoes with a red design on it. In one hand held what appeared to be a throwing star, and the other held a dagger of sorts. The rushing wind seemed to blow away the circle of red, but didn\'t seem to affect the candles at all. Then in the center of the circle that once was, a lone figure stood, hunched. It opened it\'s eyes, as a burning symbol appeared on it\'s forehead.
\"Now awaken Hieas... and exact your vengence upon him... the only one to stand in my way. John Aaron.\"
