Great ending! It was nice to see all your characters reunited one last time. Jessica\'s pregnancy was a neat suprise.

So many stories here at AFF go unfinished (I\'m guilty of a few, myself). You should be proud that you stuck with your idea and saw it through to its conclusion. That takes a lot of maturity and dedication.

And the prologue teaser you gave us sounds quite intriguing!

Awww! I love a happy ending.

I liked the way that John\'s memories of his parents gave him the strength to defeat Beras. That was both powerful and touching. And I\'m so glad that Aivon was finally accepted by the people of his village, and by the woman he loves. He\'s such a great character. He deserves to be happy.

I\'d nearly forgotten about that locked book. Something for the sequel, perhaps?

Yay! Midas didn\'t die after all. (That means he can be in the sequel, right?)

I look forward to the big ass-whipping that our heroes give Beras.

Once again, you manage to surprise me! The revelation that Midas was actually a part of the entity from beyond The Gate -- that was an extremely clever idea. Although, unfortunately, it means that closing The Gate destroyed him, doesn\'t it? Which is too bad, because he was a cool character. But his sacrifice was a noble one.

Also, I liked the way you described the way our heroes stood while channelling their energy into the orbs. The posture that each one of them chose really reflected their personalities.

I\'m going to be sad when this story is over!

That\'s right -- musn\'t anger Falcon by making her wait! *Wink*

This chapter really had me on the edge of my seat! Things look pretty bad for our heroes, don\'t they? John\'s decision to sacrifice the world in order to save Jessica was really touching, and showed the amazing strength of the love he feels for her...but what now? Is the world really going to be ruled by demons? Surely not. I\'m sure you still have a trick or two up your sleeve, but I must confess, I can\'t imagine what they\'re going to be!

Oh! *Takes a moment to catch her breath* Well, I certainly didn\'t see that coming -- Beras arriving with the final key. I guess the fur is really going to fly now, huh? Don\'t keep me in suspense for too long!

Exciting fight! Hieas seems like a very, VERY powerful demon -- it\'s really going to take a lot to beat him. I liked the little hint you dropped about Midas at the end of this chapter. \"From where I came, and to where I shall return, it\'s nothing.\" Very intriguing! I can\'t wait to find out more about that.

Yes! Yes! On to the fight!

I liked your description of the city, with its tall buildings and market stalls full of riches. John\'s awe about such things gave a nice sense of how this place was different from anywhere they\'d been before. And I loved the little detail about Midas and Aivon standing as far apart from each other as possible. Those two really don\'t like each other, do they? LOL!

Yay! New chapter! Interesting bit of information about John\'s father. It\'s so true that people often tend to punish others for troubles that aren\'t really their fault. I hope John can clear his father\'s name. But the last paragraph seemed so sad and foreboding...I fear that some great tragedy is in the wind.

More! Soon!

Oooh! Very interesting bit of history! I like the idea of a human, angel, and demon having come together to fight the entity, and then turning themselves into the keys that locked it away. And I can\'t help but notice that our current trio of heroes is composed of a human, (fallen) angel, and (half) demon. Will they be forced to make a similar sacrifice to re-seal the entity in its prison? Or will they get to live happily ever after? I\'m terribly currious! But I know that whatever happens, you won\'t dissappoint!
