Note to loyal readers
Well, friends, I\'ve gone and done it. I thought I could save this story, but I find that I cannot. Especially since I have a hundred other stories running through my head that I have to start writing before I go nuts.
The problem is, I should have ended this story a few chapters back, after the major conflict was over. Now that the bastard is out of Sam\'s life and Mike\'s feelings have become fully known, I see no reason to continue, but for some reason I did. And I\'m afraid I\'ve fucked it up by dragging it out.
I truly apologize for this. I feel rotten that I\'ve done this, because I really enjoyed the story and writing these characters. And so I leave it to you, my delightful readers. If someone would like to pick this story back up and finish it out the way you see fit, please do so. Otherwise, I\'m afraid it must end here.
