Class Of 98 - 15
The year is 2011. "Well?" I ask Sean while he is driving.
"Well what?" He asks smiling.
"You know well what. I cannot believe we are doing this." I say.
"What coming back to introduce some new people in our lives." He says. Right on que Jackie and Sean Jr. start to cry. I look back at our twins.
"Hey my little darlings. We are almost there." I say.
"Almost we are there." He says driving up in front of my mother's house. I get out and get the twins instantly they fall asleep. Sean takes Jackie, while I take Sean Jr.. We walk up the stairs and the door opens.
"Aunty Bernie, Sean and Amy are here and they have babies." Stephanie says running in the house. We walk in. To my surprise Paula a woman I use to work with was there.
"There is my niecey." She says coming over and giving me a kiss.
"Hey aunty Paula." I say. "Hey we have a new announcement. Meet the two new people in our lives. Here is Sean Jr." I say showing off the baby I am holding.
"And here is Jackie." Sean says holding up the twin he is holding.
My grandmother grabs both of them. A few hours later Sean and I are at the hotel. Sean is putting the twins to bed. I am standing at the door while he is singing them to sleep.
"Well two people are very lucky tonight to get sung to." I whisper coming in to the room.
"How long you been standing there?" He asks.
"One verse." I say. "My mother could not believe I was a mother. She could not believe she was a grandmother." I look down at the babies in the same crib. Sean walks up behind me and grabs me gently around the waist.
"Well I think you are a great mother. These two are going to grow up healthy and as beautiful as their mother." He says turning me around and kisses me. I am finally warm and safe in my loves arms.
"Well what?" He asks smiling.
"You know well what. I cannot believe we are doing this." I say.
