Chapter 16
Ok this story is kind of hard to write. i don\'t know why I put a rape in here, it is too emotional. I sometimes just want to cry for Robin when I read it. When I am writing it soemtimes surprises me what I had written after i read it myself. I am jsut as surprised as you guys are, lol even though I wrote it. Anyway thanks to the readers and the reviewers, I really enjoy reading your comments.
Now some thank you\'s and comments
Arainaina- Thanks again for reviewing and I agree with you about the Characters, but I would not say that Marcus is controlling, he just does not know what to do with a emotional girl like robin, who won\'t open up. i agree with you on Kevin though cause he is a jerk and a pig. Watch what happens later on. You can\'t believe what he did. Anyway thanks for review and reading my stories. I some more if you want to read those too, but they are really different, but still romantic some what.
Rosie- Lol at you. Thanks for reading. Yea Kevin is an asshole and yea Robin and Marcus are hard to figure out. i don\'t know where I got them from. I started writing because I know someone like Robin who is just so shy and does not know how to express herself, but then the raoe came in and now I dom\'t know who she is like. Anyway, I am most like Marty myself, a complete flirt, but a totally nice person too. Anway thanks for reviewing
Ok now to our regular program..........................................
Chapter 16
Marcus was running late to class again for the third time that week. He was finding it hard to concentrate on anything, but his personal problems. Robin had been pulling away from him for the last past two weeks and he didn’t know why. Every time he tried to get her to talk about things she would shut down or say everything was fine. HE had not even seen her in the last two days. The whole thing was putting him behind in class and making him forget important Alpha meetings. The guys were starting to ask questions and he really didn’t have an answer.
He ran into the class and noticed the way the professor looked at the clock and then back at him. Marcus gave him an apologetic nod taking the sit next to Marty.
“Not a good way to get on his good said,” she smiled at him and he smiled back while pulling out his book. ‘Guess I’ll have to meet him after class again,’ Marcus thought, already regretting it.

“Ms. Davis this is not going to work.” Robin looked up at her art advisor. Mrs. Sinly had wanted to meet with her after she got an incomplete on her art piece. Mrs. Sinly didn’t understand what was going on with Robin, she usually was a great student and the best artist, but lately she had lost her touch. “Is it that guy I see you with?”
“No ma’am. I’ve just been having a bad week, but I promise I’ll get back on track.”
“You better Robin. People with talent like yours should not waste it. I believe in you and I don’t want to see you fall behind.” Mrs. Sinly picked up a notepad and scribed something down on it and passed it to Robin. “Here I want you to take the rest of the week of and get your problems straighten out. I want you to come back ready to learn.”
Robin stood up and dropped the note into her bag. She waved at Mrs. Sinly on her way out the door. She was really glad that meeting was over. She knew that Mrs. Sinly was not proud of her for the past two weeks and she had been expecting this little meeting for a while. Robin was fining it hard to concentrate on anything these days. She was having problems moving on and everyone was starting to ask questions, even her parents.
Lizzy had called her earlier in the week and noticed the change in her voice. Her mother was real close to coming out her and checking on her, but Robin had fakes the funk and told her she was just having trouble deciding on a subject for her new painting. That had made Lizzy bag off, but it would only work for a while.
Robin walked into her room and dropped her bag on the floor. She threw off her clothes and tossed her hair into a bun heading towards the shower. She stood under the shower and tried to get her life in order, she had been doing that a lot lately, hoping that the warm water when take the pain away. The water ran down her body while she tried to think of a solution to her problems. She wanted to tell someone so she could finally get it out in the open, but she didn’t know who. She was going to tell Marty a week ago, but then she ran into Kevin on the way home and that made her shut down again. Every time he was around she would panic then shut down, Marcus had started to notice this too.
And thinking of Marcus just made it worse. She scrubbed her back and thought about what happened three days ago when he tried to lay her on the bed while he was kissing her. Robin had completely panicked, hitting him and pushing him off. He bagged away, but she had already gone into panic mode and told him to leave. Robin had not seen him since, but had spoken to him on the phone. When he asked what the problem was, she lied and said she had over reacted because her period was on. Marcus thought she was lying, but didn’t say anything else about it.
Robin got out of the shower and changed into some grey sweats and a white camisole. She sat on the floor and tried to think of something good to paint, to make up for the shit she had been turning in. She sat there forever and the only thing she came up with was more shit. She was about to say fuck it and watch some television when she heard a knock on the door. That bought her back to the night of the rape when Kevin knocked on the door and she answered without asking first, she was not making that mistake again. Robin walked to the door slowly and froze when they knocked again. “Who is it?” she asked barely above a whisper.
“Baby it’s me. Marcus,” Marcus was about to leave after she didn’t answer right away. He thought she might still be out, but had wanted to see her so he came right after class. He watched as Robin cracked the door and looked out, than opened it all the way. ‘That was new,’ he thought to himself. She moved to the side and let him in closing and locking the door behind him. Marcus walked over to her bed and was about to sit down, but thought better of it and took a sit in a chair instead, Robin noticed this.
Robin noticed the way Marcus was acting around her, as if he didn’t know what to do or what to say that would not make her upset. She hated the fact that he had to go through this just because she was too scared to open up. She wanted to tell him so bad, she just couldn’t because she didn’t want to lose him. ‘Shit if you don’t want to lose him stopping acting like this,’ her conscious reminded her. “Hey Marcus. I was going to call you later.” She walked over and sat back on the floor and patted the spot next to her. Marcus quickly got up and sat when she indicated.
“Really? Well, I was just thinking about you and wanted to see you, so I came over here.” Marcus thought it was weird that he had to think about everything he wanted to say, It use to be so easy with Robin, but now things were really weird and unreal. “So what you up to?”
“I’m not doing anything, just sitting here about to maybe watch a movie or something.” She noticed how Marcus looked down before asking if he could join her. He seemed so unsure of himself and it was all her fault. She didn’t know why, but she started crying.
“Shit!” Marcus mumbled to himself when she started to cry. He didn’t come here to upset her he just wanted to spend some time with her and be close to her, but just the thought of that made her cry. He didn’t know what the hell was going on. Then something hit him. “Who told you?”
Robin looked up trying to control her tears. “Told me what?”
“I don’t know how they fought out or what they said, but I swear that I am so sorry and I didn’t mean to let my jealousy get in the way, but just the thought of you and Kevin together made me want to kill him. I didn’t want you to be with him so I took you back, but after a day or two of spending time with you I really did forgive you. I’m so sorry. Forgive me?” Marcus was looking at her holding her hands and Robin looked totally confused.
“What? You did what?” She didn’t understand a word he was saying. He could she didn’t care why he got back with her she just wanted him back.
“You didn’t know?” he noticed the way she looked at him with confusion.
“No, but I do now. I’m not mad at you. I was crying because I am just an emotional wreck. I’m just being a total girl right now, sorry.” Robin laughed at her little joke, but she completely froze when Marcus reached out and pulled her into his arms. She wasn’t expecting this. His lips came down on hers and she just tried to calm down and remember that this was the man she loved, he wouldn’t hurt her.
Marcus pulled back and smiled at her. “That’s ok. I like that you are a girl.” He let her slide back to her spot and he pulled her over so she could lean on him. He noticed the way she tensed up then relaxed after a while. He wanted to say something about it, but didn’t

After the movie Marcus took Robin out to the café so he could get some coffee. She didn’t need anything, but he didn’t want her out of his sight. They were sitting down at a table when Marty walked in a noticed them, waving in their direction. She quickly tapped Chris and told him she’d be back.
“Nice to see the love birds out and about,” she joked. She was really happy to see Robin finally out of the room. Something was seriously wrong with her and she didn’t want to talk about it. Marty was hoping she would go to Marcus with her problems, but he didn’t seem to know anything either.
“Hey Marty. I see you finally got Chris to hang out with you. What did you do beg?” Marcus laughed and was rewarded with a jab from his girl friend. Marty looked at him and gave him the tongue, but he could tell she was smiling.
“Whatever Marcus? I don’t need to beg to get with Chris. He just better be happy I am letting him hang around me.” Marty turned around and looked at Chris looking at her. She smiled then turned back around. She was really happy when he called and asked her if she wanted to hang out today. They were on their way to the beach when he said that he needed to stop in here for a minute. That’s when she spotted Robin. “Oh and I’ll be back late tonight. Chris and I are going to the beach and then out to some party at his friend’s house. So don’t wait up roomie.” She smiled then hurried over to Chris who was waiting at the door.
Marcus watched the two exit the cafe, then he looked at Robin who was laying her head on his shoulder smiling, that was the first smile he had seen in two weeks. “So we have the place to our self tonight. What ever are we to do?” Marcus was joking, but he noticed Robin’s smile fade.
She turned to him and kissed his cheek before standing up. “You ready?” she didn’t wait for an answer she just headed for the door. Marcus tossed their trash and shook hands with some folks before running to catch up with Robin. He pulled her back when he finally caught up with her. “Where you running off to?”
Robin turned and looked up at him before she grabbed his waist and pulled him in towards her for a hug and just to feel him near. “Marcus we need to talk,” she whispered while she hugged him.
Marcus held her tight and hugged her back nodding his head in responds. He pulled away taking her hand heading toward the dorms. They were just walking and thinking when they ran into Kevin.
