God, its been ages since my last update...
Truth be told i've been up to so much i've barely had any time to sit down and write! That and i've been trying to work on a Naruto/PotC/Harry Potter Xover thats been bouncing around my head since i saw 'At Worlds End'
i've got the first couple of chapters mostly figured out... theres still one or two little kinks i've got to take care of...
To all those who have reviewed in the past and anyone else out there who has been waiting for me to update i'm sorry its taken so long and that its such a short chapter! i really am!!!
As usual reviews, comments and constructive criticism are welcomed and adored!!! I love anything that might help me make this a better story!

She remembered darkness and pain. Visions of fire and blood fluttered before her black-opal eyes like petals on the wind and brought back memories that she would have rather left forgotten.
She glided through the shifting darkness not caring where she went because she knew that there was nowhere she could go until she awoke from this poison induced nightmare. Ghost lights moved at the corners of her vision and she did her best to ignore them. She knew that if she looked she would see the past and there were thing in the past she did not want to have to see again.
“…ria…never…such…strange…before…Illyria…”
Delicate brows drew together over widened eyes and she could not stop herself from turning to wards that soft voice. A small sob escaped her throat before she could clamp her hand over her lips. She did not want to see this… not him… please…anything but him…
~~~~~
Messy ash-blond hair and violet eyes. A crooked smile and a cocked eyebrow. His soft voice that always had a slightly sarcastic tone to it. His warm hand wrapped around hers as she pulled him towards a wall of fire. “Trust me, I’ll not let you burn.”
“Only you…”
The reply was barely even a whisper but she still heard it and couldn’t suppress the slight smile that curved her lips.
His eyes had widened as she pulled him further into the blazing inferno that was the outer defensive wall of Fenrir. She had smiled at his child-like wonder as he watched the tongues of flames twist and entwine around their forms in a playful manner.
“See, there was nothing to fear.” She had said pulling him closer.
His violet eyes softened as he wrapped his free arm around her bare shoulders, the metal of his decorated wrist cuffs digging into her slightly, but she didn’t care. It meant he was real, she was real and this moment was real.
Sometimes she had trouble telling what was and what wasn’t real.
“Nothing to fear but you….”
Pushing away, Illyria took several steps backwards, “Am I something you feel the need to fear?” she asked playfully.
Ska chuckled at her, his eyes soft, “You terrify me.”
Throwing back her head, Illyria laughed brightly, the flames around them burning paler and paler until they glowed blue.
Ska stood silently watching the woman before him twist the pale flames around her thin frame with inhuman grace. She looked like one of the fire nymphs of legend who danced to summon the sun. The thought made him shake his head, she was probably the one who the legends were based off of.
Pausing in her dance Illyria looked over to Ska, her black eyes questioning.
He stood unmoving for a breath before he stepped towards her, arms wrapping around her slight form, mouth descending to hers. His lips touched hers, light and tentative, waiting to be rejected.
She could taste his panic on the tip of her tongue, slightly sour against the intoxicating sweetness. It made her shiver. Wrapping her arms around his chest, pulling him up against her and slowly running her hands up his spine. She smiled into the kiss as he shuddered against her.
Ska’s hands wove into Illyria’s long crimson locks and used it like a leaver to force her head back. She moaned as his lips pressed down with bruising force.
She felt their bodies falling towards the scorched earth. The impact stole her breath as she felt Ska’s firm weight beneath her. He had turned them at the last possible moment so he wouldn’t hurt her. She chuckled at the treatment. She could easily take a great deal more damage then he could, yet here he was treating her like spun glass.
Placing her hands onto his firm chest Illyria smiled at the man beneath her. Slowly she lowered her lips to his, her long hair falling in disarray around them. The kiss was like breathing it felt so natural, like they were not two separate people, but one living entity…
~~~~~
Illyria pulled back with a scream, her hands fisting into claws within her hair. She did not want to see more of what would take place in that particular memory.
Dropping to her knees Illyria began to cry. The tears rolled down her pale cheeks to drip onto her naked thighs.
The best memories were so often the most painful to relive she had long since discovered. Anything with Ska in it seemed more painful then most of the others. She had often thought that it was because of what she did to him.
Looking up she found more flashes of his face whiling around her. Chocking back a sob, she closed her eyes and tried to tune the nightmare out.
