Kill Master
Bored but my head is pounding again and thus not so much with the writing. At least, not so fast. Rell has had quite a rough time and it's been pretty bad for both of them and that makes me feel bad. I had to remind myself several times that it's only been a day or so since Rel was put in the containment cell. Read, Review and EnjoyRepeat sounds until the male reacts to one, that shall be his name.… Because that made perfect fucking sense. Rel sighed and tossed the paper over his shoulder. The male stopped picking over the cart and blinked at Rel. “Fuuuuuuu-” don’t let the Sidhe’s first words be a swear word. Rel stumbled, “Neh, food’s good, no?”“Neh?” the Sidhe looked disgusted and picked up a piece of meat gently. Sounds. Had Essuan started as Ess? Had Souse started as Sow? Rel’s mind did a little giddy leap as he reached over and picked up a roll of bread. It was an odd way to name anyone at all, but it seemed to make sense on some odd little level. “Ehhhh…. Mmmm”“Mm,” the male ate a bit of bread. “Meh”“Mooo,” the Sidhe plucked up the milk as he mooed. “You know what a cow is?” Rel frowned.“Moooo,” the creature downed the milk and set it back, “mm.”“Mah”“Neh.”“Men, Mahn, Muh, Mul, Mit…”“Mm.”“Mm?” Rel muttered, “difficult to say, but if that’s what you want. Or… you don’t know the rest. Rel,” he tapped his own chest, then pointed to the male’s chest, “Mm?”“Mm-” something that might be a vowel started to come out of the male’s mouth but it was cut off a moment later, a confused sound coming from the Sidhe’s mouth.”“Mm it is,” Rel bit into the roll and sighed around the bread.“Rel…”“Mm?” Rel glanced up at the grinning Sidhe, “what?”The creature stuffed an entire roll of bread into his mouth and walked off, chewing the bread loudly. The Sidhe pointed at the plasma screen that Rel had slept under and looked at Rel, a questioning sound coming from the Sidhe’s mouth. Rel tore his role in half, slid a piece of meat between the halves and walked over to the plasma screen. A tap of Rel’s finger and the world appeared before his eyes as he hadn’t seen it in months. He scrolled through news sections and stumbled onto a breaking news bulletin. “The owners, shown here being led away in chains, were found hiding in a downtown local known to be owned by organized crime groups. One of these men is, in fact, the heir to the crime organization responsible for smuggling drugs and even exotic animals into Norash.”“Master.”Rel spun to the Sidhe. The creature was watching the screen, looking intensely frightened and worried. Rel tried to come up with something yet the only thing that came from his mind was a jumble of thoughts that he couldn’t possibly verbalize so that the Sidhe would understand. The fact that the police had brought in the heir to a crime syndicate meant that something bit was going down, that these people were serious. “Kill Master,” the Sidhe murmured.“I can’t,” Rel responded calmly, “but damn it, I wish I could. They did this to you, these men? Why? What the hell is so precious that they would…”Of course he knew what was so precious. A full grown male had quite a bit of bone and Sidhe bone technology was, until recently, a large part of the market. One Sidhe body would be worth more than its weight in money and such a price would more than pay for the raising and care of a Sidhe. For their car warmers, their coffee machines, their security cameras, for their comfort and arrogance, Sidhe were being killed, raised and tormented, lives wasted. So that the people could live in luxury.Rel felt sick to his stomach. He swallowed hard and fast. The roll dropped from his hand as he fled to the bathroom and was loudly and thoroughly sick. .
