Rel/Lel was a well thought out character, I enjoyed little bits of him being discovered by him. I loved his reactions to things, it made me laugh out loud and sometimes I even cried, and sometimes I was just as confused as he was. As soon as I started reading sequel I did not want to stop even though I started it when you started to talk about Sequel in the notes of Partners. I enjoyed the characters more in Sequel than I did in Partners. Probably because I feel Mik is self-righteous, people-suspicious, and a person that does not think before he talks much. I wish there was more Muan and Rel/Lel by themselves and towards the end I felt left hanging...hmm without resolution, but I guess that was the point. I do not understand why Rel was left out of everything, why he was not allowed to know? Did he do it because he wanted rel to stay with the troupe and thus Mari (and thus his children?) I am still confused about why Una does things that way...does he simply love being mysterious???

Anyways good story.

I can't believe it. I just finished the last chapter of Partners this morning, and I swore that I would not start the next part of your work on the Sidhe until I get throught the last book of Harry Potter. I have promised my son repeatedly that I would read it and watch the movies so he and I can discuss it together. But I found myself reading Sequel instead. And I can't put it down. My attention is already glued to Sequel in the first chapter. I must read HP for my son, but this is so good. I am recommending Partners to several FP authors who I hope will find it interesting. I find that a lot of the stories that I enjoy the most usually deal with ethnic studies or xeno-cultural studies to some degree. I really enjoy reading stories such as this, which focus on conflicts and resolutions within a multiethnic or multicultural society. It is more in line with humanities, not to be confused with anthropology. You do a awesome job of tying in some fundamental cultural studies issues. I like the fact that you manage to touch on some many topics without making it boring. You have covered religion, criminology, sociology, and ethnic studies theories. Including sexual relations. Your approach to each is well written and well thought out. You have clearly done your homework on it all.

Hello there
After all this time I finally did read this and Partner again.
Strange, how life can walk over you...however. Back, when you still wrote on it, I stopped reading because of many points. One was, I was in hospital at that time.
lets say, I jumped dead from the shovel. So to speak. I have to apologise, at that time the story was one of the few that distracted me and so when it turned around into a direction I couldn't handle I stopped reading and to give support. I had a long time to think over all and to heal, yes for now I am healthy again. Chemo wasn't nice.
However, I just wanted to tell you what I should have told you back than, You have a great tallent when it comes to writing, like a mix between since fiktion and fantasy that really pulls you in. And now, not being so emotional anymore, I could even enjoy the end, lol. Thought, I pitty all the inocents that had to pay the price for the others actions and true too is that I am a little aghast how the Sidhe seemed not to care...but that wasn't sidhe that did die, so...
Are you still interested in pictures? I had a lot of time in therapy, I made some. Just mail me if you want them. And are tweak and wilds born realated to Partner and Sequel?

I loved this story, just as I loved Partners! one thing though - it feels like it ended in the middle of the story about Rel and Muan's realtionship. Does it get resolved, or do we just hope that it's all good between them as they move on in their new life? I would LOVE to hear more of their story, because these two were definiteely my favourite couple :)
Best wishes in the new series (off to read them now :D ) and all my support for your writing!

*beams with pride* I'm glad you like the title suggestion Ayato. And if chapter 115 is the last one for Sequel, I'm truly satisfied.
