The Lost Prince: 012
To my Reviewers and Readers:
Thanks for the support. I'm still on a break but I just had to post this. It was almost finished anyway. This chapter's still fluff but I swear I'll it make up to you in the next one.
~*STORY*~
“You all ready?” Jake asked as Savyn got out of her room.
“Yeah!” was her chirpy reply, giving them a bright smile as she headed for her Volkswagen Eos.
“At least she has a decent car. We don't have to use the bikes.” Lyle grumbled.
“Someone has to. We won't fit in the car.” Sven pointed out. “And that's not gonna be me.”
“I'm riding in the car too.” Jake was already running towards the convertible. Sven and Lyle followed quickly, leaving Nathan and Thom behind.
“I guess it's going to be me.” Nathan shrugged and strode to the rack and took a helmet, putting it on his head. He paused for a minute and then shouted.
“Wanna ride with me?”
Thom was halfway to the car. He waved his sister to go on without him and sprinted towards Nathan who was now astride the black Ducatti. He held a spare helmet.
“Put this on.”
Thom sat himself behind Nathan and strapped the helmet on. Before he knew it they were out of the warehouse and had passed the convertible.
Nathan raced like a pro. The speed and power of the Ducatti made the ride terrifying fast. Thom had to put his arms around Nathan's waist to avoid falling. He was scared.
'If this was under any other circumstances, I would be happy,' Thom thought wryly as he clutch more tightly onto Nathan's waist. They were racing through the streets, zooming through the narrow path allowed by the other automobiles and passing the yellow lights without a care. Finally, they reached a long section where specialty shops and cafes littered the street on both sides. Thom was thankful they had arrived in one piece.

Nathan pushed the exit door of the cafe with his elbow, balancing the two cups he was holding on both hands. he glanced at a group of teenagers standing a few meters away from Thom, who was by himself. They were whispering and casting surreptitious glances at the boy. One of them was about to approach Thom when he noticed Nathan glaring at him. He took one look at Nathan and turned away, leaving the site with his friends.
Nathan handed a cup of hot choco to Thom as he reached him. He produced a stick of cigarette and a lighter from the pocket of his jacket.
“Can't you light the stick with your finger? Why the lighter?” Thom curiously asked him as he lit the cigarette.
“Too many humans. Wouldn't want them freaking out on me.” Nathan puffed and took a deep breath, filling his lungs with smoke.
“I haven't seen you smoke until today. It's cancerous you know.”
Nathan looked at Thom with amusement. He took another puff of smoke and blew it directly on Thom's face. The boy was rendered into a coughing fit, nearly spilling his drink.
“Ugh. That was gross. I'll die of cancer someday and you'll be the cause of it.” Thom made a face at Nathan when he had finally stopped coughing.
Nathan chuckled and ruffled Thom's hair.
“Haven't you forgotten we can never get sick? We're immortal, Thom.”
Thom thumped his forehead with his free hand.
“I forgot about that.” he blushed, looking a little embarrassed.
'The boy was just too cute for words .' Nathan fondly squeezed Thom's cheek, watching the teen get redder. He chuckled.
“Stop that! stupid dragon...” Thom said as Nathan squeezed his other cheek.
'No wonder Samandiriel enjoyed getting the boy riled up.' Nathan thought, smirking at how Thom's eyes were flashing indignantly. He was about to give Thom's cheek another squeeze when someone coughed and spoke. It was Savyn with the 3-stooges at her heels.

“How cozy!” Savyn said with a twinkle in her eye.
“Finally! I thought the day was gonna end before you guys got here.” Thom said as he successfully blocked his face from Nathan's fingers.
“Traffic was bad.” Savyn replied.
“You drove too slow. The car was crawling.” Sven pointed out.
“Lousy driver!” That came from Lyle. Savyn gave him the evil eye, but let the insult pass. She was engrossed with the neighboring shop's window display.
“I'm going to take a look inside.” She was pointing at the shop. “Let's meet here at 5:00 pm.”
They all nodded, heaving sighs of relief as she sauntered off without dragging one of them with her to be her personal porter.
The 3-stooges looked at each other in excitement. They couldn't wait to go to the Hobby House, a store that kept them supplied with the stuff they used for practical jokes.
“We'll be going to the Hobby House now.” Jake announced as he gleefully rubbed his hands. He linked his arms with Sven and Lyle's and they marched towards the direction of the store. Nathan and Thom downed there drinks and followed them.
