Drift

Co-written by Aya

Akira raised an eyebrow seeing a familiar blond working his way into the crowd at the front of the stage. He wondered what the man was up to, though once the girls realized he was in their midst he was going to get groped especially since he looked more like he belonged on a magazine cover than anything.

Ruka grinned manically as he went to the front of the stage. He had gotten groped a few times and had instantly rounded on the girls calling them out which made them shrink away from him. Smirking he stared up at Akira and Ryuu who were closest to the edge of the stage, grinning as the girls around him reached out trying to touch, yelling their names.

With a smirk he reached out as well, liking the fact that his hand had a longer reach than the rest of the girls, then decided to see how Ryuu and Akira would react to him shouting as well. It was entirely too much fun to do this.

"Akira!! Ryuu!!" He almost couldn't do it, laughing too hard.

Akira couldn't help laughing as he saw Ryuu realize that Ruka was standing practically right in front of him. Once he was done singing the verse he went right to the edge of the stage the girls starting to go completely nuts. There was a wicked grin on Ryuu's face as he quickly took the scarf off his head and tossed it right at Ruka.

Akira cringed hoping the Ruka didn't get mobbed by girls trying to get to it. The last time Ryuu had done something like that the event staff had been forced to break up the fight. Though he was pretty sure Ruka could hold his own against the girls.

Ruka blinked chuckling as he caught the scarf. His reach was more than long enough and he grinned as the girls around him tried to get it before his hand caught it. Closing his fist he glared at the girls as he held it close. They hadn't dared to try and take it from him. Even as pretty as he was he could definitely hurt them if they tried for it.

Akira was laughing watching the girls turn from Ruka to trying to get Ryuu's attention. The calls to take something else off becoming more frequent. Ryuu just shook his head and went back to his mic smiling as he started the next verse.

Ruka laughed as he moved from the front of the stage towards the side area to wait until the band was finished. Studying the scarf he smiled, it was kind of nice, but he'd give it back to Ryuu once the concert was over.

Akira set his guitar on the stand waving one last time to the crowd. Ryuu had already apologized for no encores and urged them to return the next night. If tomorrow night was anything like tonight it was going to be a very fun concert.

"Akira! You guys were amazing! You guys definitely need to get signed soon!" Ruka was smiling as they came down. "And here's your scarf back Ryuu. You nearly caused a riot tossing it." He laughed holding the scarf out to the guy.

"Hey thanks! I never get them back!" Ryuu grinned at Ruka until he spotted Kenta walking past. An evil glint appeared in his eyes the grin turning a little wicked. "Here hang on to it. I have a body guard to harass."

Akira groaned shaking his head as Sora walked up with Hasu in tow. "It's a wonder we even get through a whole show."

"He going after our poor defenseless body guard?" Sora smirked.

"Oh, he's not defenseless at all!" Hasu piped up bouncing around a bit. "Hey Kenta! Did you bring the snacks?"

Akira laughed as Hasu went after the poor boy, who was already having to fend off Ryuu. "Well that should calm things down a bit. Hasu has the weirdest knack for ruining Ryuu's attempts to flirt without even realizing it."

"That's good. I wouldn't want Kenta being molested. He still has to protect Hime-chan."

"What do you mean, 'protect Hime-chan'?" Reiko raised an eyebrow up as she walked over to Ruka.

"Hime-chan!" Ruka jumped startled. When they hell had she gotten there? "I- er. . . Ano. . . You see. . ."

"Nevermind I don't want to know." Shaking her head she looked at Akira and Sora, "You guys were amazing tonight. I'm envious that Ruka got the scarf, even if I was away from the stage." She grinned, "I got to sit on a car! Some guy let me sit on the roof of his Acura NSX. It was so cool! He was telling me all about it too. Even if I was trying to listen to you guys- Oh! Kenta has dorayaki!!" Reiko grinned running off to catch Kenta, Ryuu and Hasu. Hopefully she'd get some before Hasu ate it all.

"And that's why I want Kenta to watch her. . ." He groaned rubbing his face. "Now I gotta find out who has the Acura she was sitting on. . ."

Akira raised an eyebrow. He did not like the thought of some guy trying to flirt with Reiko while he was on stage. "I think I'll go with you Ruka. I might get her her own body guard or have her backstage when she comes to our concerts."

"Don't get too over protective Akira, she might feel suffocated if you do. That's why I asked Kenta originally. At least that way she would just think he was hanging out with her." Ruka sighed. He really hoped Kenta could do it, but with being Ryuu's bodyguard- basically- he couldn't very well watch Reiko too.

"Wonder who else I could get to watch her. . ."

Akira sighed as he followed Ruka. "Yeah I guess you are right. She's really pretty good at protecting herself. Usually. Maybe having Kenta hang out with her while we are onstage would be good."

"Yeah sure. Are you really going to take me now? Can we drift?" Akira looked up at him excited even though he wondered what Ruka would possibly need to talk to him about.

"So, are you guy's enjoying the track?" Daisuike knew they probably were but couldn't help asking. "Is it too different from the street racing?"

"Ah, yeah, we're really enjoying ourselves. It's a lot of fun." Fuji leaned against the wall taking a gulp of his drink.

"It's pretty different. Used to other cars and the lanes being set up different. It's really fun though! Tatsuya's been kicking my ass though, stupid asshole."

"Just because he's more skilled than you are doesn't make him an asshole." Fuji scolded Masa softly, handing him an onigiri to stuff in his mouth. Masa just moped quietly nibbling on the rice ball.

Daisuike frowned slightly, he hadn't realized Tatsuya raced, but then again probably the only people here who didn't where him and his brothers and the band. He patted Masa on the head. "It gives you a challenge, ne? Something to strive for. After that ride with Ruka I may just have to try it on my own, though not in my truck." Daisuike grinned at them though now that he thought about it he wasn't entirely joking.

"Eeeeh? You're gunna start racing!? This is gunna suck!" Masa pouted even more into his onigiri.

"Really Daisuike? That'll be interesting. Ruka will teach you what you need to do, honestly though you'll probably need to learn to drift then. Hopefully you'll be better than Masa here and don't spin out of control a third of the time."

"Oi! I do not!"

"Really?"

"Okay, maybe. . ."

"Oh." Daisuike hadn't thought about drifting. Well he was getting past the fear of the speed, so maybe it was time to conquer the drifting. "I guess I'll have to have Ruka take me drifting then."

He grinned at Masa. "You better be practicing cause if there is one thing you'll learn about me it's that once I learn to do something I learn to do it very well."

"Fuji! This isn't fair! Make Ruka stop bringing perfectionists around! First Sono, then Tatsuya now Daisuike!? Who else!? Reiko!? Oh god! No! I don't want to get my ass handed to me by a girl! That's so uncool!!!" Masa started to fidget as he whined.

"Actually, you brought Tatsuya and Reiko more than likely won't race-er. . . Would she?" Fuji glanced at Daisuike unsure.

Daisuike shrugged still laughing at Masa. "You never know with that girl. Once she decides to go something you better just get the fuck out of her way."

He glanced down before looking back up at Masa. "So how do you know Tatsuya?"

Masa whimpered not liking the idea of Reiko racing. He really didn't want a girl to beat him. That was just embarrassing. Lifting his head he looked at Daisuike when he asked about Tatsuya. A faint blush crossed his cheeks looking away as he scratched his face some.

"A-Ano. . ."

"Tatsuya is an. . . escort. Masa happened to think he was a girl and didn't realize it until it was too late." Fuji laughed softly patting his friend on the head. "After that they become really close."

"He's like a sister to me!"

"A sister?"

"Yeah! Like. . . okay a slutty perverted sister who likes to try and molest you while you sleep kind of sister, but still a sister! Sort of like those sisters from those hentai manga!"

"What hentai- I'm not even gunna ask." Fuji sighed shaking his head looking at Daisuike. He really hoped that he wasn't awkward around Tatsuya. Everyone in the crew was fine with it but people outside. . . It was never okay with them and Tatsuya tried not to let outsiders know too much. Even with Daisuike being Yakuza, it only made Fuji wonder.

Daisuke raised an eyebrow and leaned back against the wall. The way Tatsuya was dressed and how he acted his first guess had been that he was in the AV industry. "Well that explains a few things."

He smiled at Masa, "Don't worry about it too much Masa, I could see how you'd be mistaken. You wouldn't believe how many times I've had guys ask me about my pretty little sister. Don't tell Akira though, he gets really pissed about it."

"I won't, though I can see why with him dressed as he is right now. If he's close to that normally I feel sorry for Reiko. They'll think she's a lesbian or something" Masa sighed softly hanging his head. "It's not like I care that he's a boy, but I just wish he wasn't so damn girly! He even moves his hips! It's like he's trying to make me confused!"

"Maybe he was a girl." Fuji smirked seeing the distraught look on Masa's face.

"Oh god! Don't put that in my head!!" Masa covered his ears leaving their side to go and mope alone.

"And that's how you get a pester away. He might go and gorge himself on food though. . ."

Daisuike laughed. "Poor kid. Though I understand the confusion. Until I met Ruka I never realized I would ever be attracted to another guy. Though I guess it makes sense, now that I think about it, I never found girls attractive anyway."

He blushed realizing what he was saying, he was just too comfortable talking with Fuji. He glanced up at Fuji, "Ano, sorry. You probably didn't care to know that."

"It's fine. Ruka's told us all aobut his sex life and what position he did it in that night. Could've written a whole book basically. Well used to, now he's a prude when it comes to his sex life. Won't tell us a damn thing about you two." He grinned playfully at Daisuike. "But you're more than welcome to share it if you're wanting to."

Daisuike blinked at Fuji not sure what to say. The thought that Ruka wouldn't tell them anything about the two of them made him feel a little odd. On one hand he was glad Ruka felt their relationship was special enough to keep private, on the other hand he wondered if it was because he just wasn't as good a lover as some of the other people he'd been with and there just wasn't anything to brag about.

"An-ano . . . "

Fuji raised an eyebrow at Daisuike frowning a bit, "What? Do you want Ruka to talk about your guy’s sex life?" Leaning back against the wall he sighed, "Ruka really respects you Daisuike, he doesn't want to mess this up. He probably felt that if he talked about it he'd offend you. You seem. . . okay honestly you seem to be a bit of a prude about sex and stuff."

Fuji smirked softly drinking some of his soda.

Daisuike dropped hi gaze feeling stupid and childish for thinking such a thing. Though he didn't like being called a prude.

"I'm private about a lot of things. I just . . . well, this is all still really new to me not just . . . that, either. I've never even dated anyone and sometimes I really have no idea what to do or how things are supposed to work."

"You really shouldn't worry so much. I doubt Ruka will even care if you aren't doing what is 'normal' or 'right'. He loves you too much to care. He's also new to this, Daisuike, you gotta understand that. Before you, nothing meant anything to him. Relationships were based on sex and that was it. Sono-Sono was different but Sono also broke his heart. After him-" Fuji looked down. That whole time had been pretty painful for them all. He wasn't even sure how Ruka could still be friends with him, but he guessed family meant more than his broken heart. "He just used what he could to fill something that was missing inside him and to never even bother fixing what was shattered."

Daisuike looked up at Fuji frowning slightly. "I know Sono is the closest thing to family he's got and I really wish I could get along with him but . . . the only two times I ever seen him he's hit me. I thought about inviting him this weekend but wasn't sure if he would even come."

He glanced around making sure no one else was within listening distance.

"As far as everything else . . . I will do my best to be what Ruka needs. I know-I know how it feels to try and drown your pain with something else, to do anything to try and forget it. Ruka doesn't make me forget, but he does give me something to live for. Before I met him I seriously didn't care whether I lived or died." He glanced up at Fuji smiling softly. "I've never told anyone but Ruka that."

"I feel honored." Fuji smiled nodding his head, honestly meaning it. "As for Sono. . ." He sighed rubbing his face, "I-just give Sono time. He's . . . adjusting to the idea, probably, that Ruka has fully moved on. Before you came into the picture Ruka was a playboy who had Sono as his wing man, basically. You kind of replaced him. Actually no, you really did."

Daisuike shrugged. "I wasn't trying to replace anyone. I just want Ruka to be happy."

"I know you weren't but Ruka moved on which made it so Sono lost that hopeless love. Plus Ruka doesn't need a wing man anymore so Sono was out of that job." Shaking his head he moved towards Daisuike patting his shoulder as he listened to the car. "I know you want Ruka to be happy, and everyone else knows that. Plus you'd risk your life for him. You proved that much when you went after him when that guy had him."

"I'd do it again in a heartbeat."

"Yeah, we can drift if you want to. I plan on it when we're on the course. That's the only real way to get around corners you know." Ruka smirked leading Akira towards his area for his cars.

"Pick the one you want to ride in." Ruka smiled softly, excited.

"Any one?" Akria looked back and forth, it was so hard to choose. "Ano, the Ford GT would be cool."

"Perfect choice." Ruka walked towards the car, before stopping and leaning into his other car grabbing the helmet. As they got in he passed it to Akira, "You're wearing this." He smiled helping Akira buckle up then sighed looking at him.

"Want to race first then talk or talk and then race?"

"Ano race first?" Akira looked over the helmet before putting it on. "I thought you didn't wear helmets."

"I don't. But Ouji-sama bought me it. Not entirely pleased with it, just don't tell him that. I hate helmets even if it's state of the art and what have you not, but I really dislike them. . ." Shaking his head he smiled a bit.

"Ready to shit your pants going 200?" He smirked softly as he pulled up to the start line.

Akira laughed. "It would take more than that."

He was glad that Ruka had agreed to wear the helmet even if he didn't like it. Daisuike really cared about his safety and Akira didn't want him being worried about Ruka after what had happened.

Ruka smiled happily as he hit the gas immediately, taking off as fast as he could down the straight, shifting quickly to go even faster, smirking as the corner came around to drift the entire 1st and 2nd corner, wondering just how well he could do it. He was going to get good on this. Maybe one day he'd try it professionally.

Akira couldn't stop laughing, it was just too much fun. The way the car was sliding and forcing him back and down into the seat was exhilarating. It was almost like the high he got when he was on stage.

Ruka laughed along side Akira as he took the S-curve hitting the Dunlop hard. It was too much fun and Akira made it all too easy to enjoy himself. The kid seemed to love it and it made him happy to please him so much.

"Guess what Akira? We're hitting 194 right now. I'm planning on taking the hairpin turn as a drift, ready?"

"I'm ready! I'm ready! Lets do it!!" Akira knew he was yelling but he couldn't help it. As soon as he got a car he wanted to learn how to do this, it was just way too much fun.

Ruka laughed, the kid was adorable and excited. He was afraid that Daisuike was going to kill him though if he found out Akira enjoyed this so much. What if he wanted to start drifting and racing as well? If he got both Reiko and Akira into this Suke would have his balls. Shrugging inwardly, he shifted, drifting the car around the hairpin.

Akira grabbed the roll bar as they took the corner the tires squalling. The force of it making him a little dizzy.

Ruka smirked seeing how Akira reacted. Maybe he wasn't as ready as he thought. Laughing he hit the gas harder as they took the 200R and made their way into the Spoon Curve.

"You say you're ready Akira but you aren't acting like it!"

Akira glanced over at him. "I'd like to see you get on stage and do what I do."

"Watch me. I'll dance around and put you to shame. I'll take the tambourine from Hime-chan and dance my heart out!" He chuckled as they took the 130R grinning as the tires squealed again.

Akira just laughed the visual being a rather funny one. "Yeah, right. Reiko would push you off the stage first chance she got. Besides, Suke would never let you wear an outfit like these in public."

"Oh man. . . Wonder if I can borrow one of Ryuu's. The one he was wearing tonight was nice. . . Can surprise Ouji-sama-" Ruka stopped his words. He wasn't about to let Akira hear that. Way too much information. He smiled as they hit the last corner, hitting it as hard as he could to get the full speed.

"Want another lap?" He smirked softly hoping to distract Akira.

Akira raised an eyebrow at him. "I'd let you borrow mine but then it would be way too short, but then again I bet Suke would like that wouldn't he."

Ruka gagged a bit glancing at Akira as he decided to take another lap. "I-. . . er. . . Ano. . . Th-that's not-" He decided to just change things around. "I bet Hime-chan would be cute in an outfit like that, ne?"

He took the S-curve hard again grinning to himself.

Akira was about to say something but the thought of Reiko in one of his outfits was a bit too much to think about and he totally forgot what he'd been going to say. There was no way that was going to happen anytime soon.

"Jerk."

Ruka laughed, "Come on, you know you'd totally want her in one of those outfits. Though probably privately, ne?" He took another hard turn grinning. Poor Akira. He was going to need relief probably if he kept thinking about Reiko in those outfits.

"Are you trying to kill me?" Akira realized Ruka probably couldn't see him glaring in the helmet. "She'd beat me to death if I ever suggested it. It would be easier to get Suke to wear a dress than her."

Ruka grinned laughing, "For you and privately? I bet she would. I'll have to ask her." Ruka rolled his eyes, "I don't want to see Ouji-sama in a dress. . ." He shuddered some. Now an apron- He had better not think about that while driving.

Akira looked over at Ruka and nodded slowly. He’d almost slipped up and said something that Daisuike would have killed him for. Time to change the subject. "What were you wanting to talk about, you mentioned it earlier?"
