Chapter 11 - Collection
Chapter 11 – Collection
“If the sun shut down and decided not to shine no more, I would still have you, baby…” – C. Milian
I woke up to the sensual feeling of his lips against mine. The tender coercion of his tongue persuaded me to open myself up to him. I moaned and arched my back as silent chills flowed along and under my skin. I lifted the heavy covers up to look down at the messy blonde head peeking back from between my legs.
“You know, you are insatiable,” I said as Blitz gave me one more defiant lick before crawling his way up my naked body.
He climbed out from between my legs to kiss his way across my stomach to the tender area between my breasts. “Strange, I don’t remember you voicing any complaints earlier.”
I smiled as he nuzzled my neck. “Well,” I giggled as he licked my ear, “my mouth has been too busy to protest your actions.”
Blitz hoisted himself with his arms to stare down at me. His hair created a curtain around us that glowed golden under the room’s candlelight as he wore a look of playful hurt on his face. “Really? Then let’s give that saucy little mouth of yours a break.”
I started to question his meaning when he suddenly grabbed my hips and spun me around. I bounced onto my stomach, and my ass was yanked upwards, forcing my face into the pillow. I could feel his head pressing into my damp entrance. In one thrust, he was inside me for the fifth time this evening.
I propped myself up with my arms for better leverage, and as soon as a moan escaped my lips, Blitz had his hand on my back, pushing face first into the pillows again.
“No, no, no,” he said, emphasizing each word with another pump. Just the sound of our bodies slapping together made me hotter. “Good little bitches don’t speak.”
I laughed into the pillow, and received a hard slap on the ass for my rebellion. “No more lip from you,” he grunted as he slowed his strokes to something more long and calculated.
He knew he couldn’t be inside of me without me moaning his name in the first 60-seconds. This was really a futile battle on my part because I knew how much he liked to tease me with false antagonism. As a gesture of amicable taunting, Blitz leaned over me and kissed between my shoulders. He took one long lick of the sweat that was starting to build there. Then he thrust hard enough to push me forward. With another push, I was up to the bed’s metal frame.
“Grab them,” he commanded with another deep push into my pulsing body.
I pulled myself up with the bed’s sturdy frame. Before I could get myself settled, he started to fuck me harder, causing the bed to slam against the wall.
“Hey, if you two break my bed, you’ll owe me a new one!”
Blitz stopped moving, and I almost groaned from the interruption. “What do you need, Vince?” yelled Blitz.
From the other side of the bedroom door, Vince said, “The guys are here. They’re ready to set things up. Don’t keep ‘em waiting.”
“Fine,” Blitz said as his sweat-laden body slapped against me. “We’ll need to finish this quickly.”
That’s when Blitz grabbed my hips tightly, and drove me to my most explosive orgasm of the night. And fortunately for us, the bed survived.

“Sir, we’ve retrieved the cargo. She’s ready for her exam and upgrade.”
A blindfold was removed from my eyes, and immediately I recognized my surroundings. This is the lab, the one I had escaped from on several occasions in the past.
“Prep her for an MRI. We need to see how far the cancer has progressed.”
I was stripped of my clothes and wrapped in a drafty hospital gown. IVs were put into my arms, and they laid me down in a large hollow tube and told me not to move. And they spoke to me, distant, disjoined voices telling me that I was not improving. The table moved out of the tube, and I heard the doctors say:
“We’ll need to perform another surgery to replace the dead and decaying tissue…I’m not sure how much longer her body will resist the cancer cells. They seem get more aggressive with her years. Prep her for surgery; we’ll be replacing the whole of the left hemisphere this time…”

“Synna…Synna, come on, love. You’re dreaming again. You’ve got to get up now.”
I could hear his voice, but the room had gone dark. Then the bed sank under his weight, and he leaned over to press a gentle kiss to my bare shoulder.
“Mmph,” I said into the pillow before rolling over. “What time is it?”
Blitz got up from the bed, and I could hear the sound of a match striking and soft light filled the room again. “It’s just after ten.”
I sat up and stretched, allowing the covers to fall away and let my bare breasts feel the cold air of the room. “So, what’s for breakfast?”
Blitz gave me a curious look as he lit another candle. “I hope you mean dinner.”
“But I don’t eat dinner at ten in the morning,” I said as I got up from the bed and grabbed a shirt that I found draped over a chair.
As I pulled it over my head, Blitz said, “And I don’t eat breakfast at ten in the evening.”
I fluffed my messy hair through the shirt’s collar. “Holy shit!” I said, turning back to Blitz. “I’ve been up here sleeping all day?”
He walked to my side as he jerked his shirt over his head. “Yeah,” he said, leaning over to kiss my lips. “And you smell like it, too.”
“Oh really,” I asked as I watched him remove his pants, revealing nothing but bare skin beneath. “And what do you propose we do about that?”
“For starters,” he said as he stepped toward and grabbed the shirt I was wearing, “you need to lose this shirt that smells like Vince. Then you need to follow me into the bathroom for a long, overdue shower.”
Blitz left my side and stepped into the bathroom. I heard him hiss as his bare feet stepped onto the cold tile. I yanked my newly procured shirt over my head as I heard the water turn on in the shower. I waited a couple of moments before I walked into the bathroom, allowing the steam from the shower to fill the room.
When I walked in, Blitz was already behind the shower’s glass doors. He had left the lights on dim, and I guessed that he didn’t require that much light to bathe. I could barely see his form behind the doors’ opaque glass.
“How long do you plan on keeping me waiting in here?” he asked over the door.
I grabbed the door’s handle and slid it open to release more of the water’s moist heat. “I guess that depends on your intentions towards me. Are they innocent or devious?”
Blitz turned around and flicked water into my face. “You can stand there and stink all night if you want, but you’ll get nothing in return from me.”
“Well in that case,” I said as I stepped into the water’s warm spray.
As soon as I had closed the glass door, Blitz was on me. My back was against the cold tile wall. His leg was between mine, rubbing against me. His lips found mine quickly, and I could taste the stale flavor of this town’s water supply.
I managed to work my hands between us to push him away. “Down, boy,” I said as he looked at my hands, then at me with mild surprise. “There will be plenty of time for that later.”
Blitz dropped his head in silent defeat. He stepped away and let me walk into the water’s spray. I hadn’t realized how tired and sore my body was from all of our salacious frolicking until the hot water hit my muscles. As the water’s steady pressure beat against my back, I could feel my muscles let go of tightness.
It must have shown on my face because Blitz commented, “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that I was causing you so much pain.”
I looked up at him as the water poured over my head. “No, it’s not that. My body’s just not used to all this activity any more.”
Blitz smiled at me, and it made me all warm and fuzzy on the inside. His looks always had a way of making my knees melt. Now whether that was a natural or electronic response, I might never know. But I wouldn’t trade how he made me feel for the entire world.
I leaned my head back into the spray, letting the water soak my hair further. “So, do we have a plan yet?”
Blitz stepped closer to reach over my head for the shampoo bottle. “Turn around,” he said quietly as he poured a generous amount into his hands.
His fingertips gently worked the shampoo into my hair, starting at the scalp and carefully drawing through the strands to the tips. With each stroke, I could feel my body succumbing to his delicate ministrations. A memory of a similar time in the jungle flashed in my mind, and I smiled to myself as it reminded me of days long gone.
“For now, we enjoy this quiet moment. Then, we join the men for some dinner, and we wait.”
“That’s it?” I asked, looking up to him. “What happens if we get separated again?”
“Vince is handling that part. Said he knew of some place we could lie low and off the grid.” Then his fingers paused and he asked, “Synna, what’s this?”
I could feel his fingers separating strands, and then stroking something against my scalp. “Did I bring a tick back from the woods?”
Blitz gently turned my head towards the light. Unbeknownst to me, at the base of my skull, just above the hairline, was a small light that was blinking red. And as he watched it, it started to blink faster.
That was when my mind buzzed, and something akin to a gut feeling told me something was wrong. Blitz, something’s coming…I whispered through his mind.
The next moment, the shower’s glass doors shattered as the building shook from an explosion.

“Viper, contact made. Four bogies down, over.”
Vince was hunkered behind the bar, listening to Jericho’s static voice carry through the 2-way radio. He pumped his sawed-off shotgun, loading the chambers in anticipation of what was coming.
“Two trucks out front, two five-man teams unloading, over.”
“Scout, in position, over.”
“Roger that,” said Vince. “Any sign of Blitz and Doll, over”
Upstairs, gunshots rang in the night, but Vince couldn’t tell what floor it was coming from. Then semi-automatic fire erupted outside, and Tank barreled through front doors. In the distance, Vince could hear a helicopter flying away.
“Two more bogies down, two got past me. In pursuit, over.”
Vince grabbed the radio and squeezed the button again. “Stand down, Jericho. Locate the quarry and report back, over.”
“Roger that, approaching den now. Door blown inward, over.”
“Just find them,” said Steven over the channel before he took his first shot from the overhead balcony.

I couldn’t breathe under the large body’s weight on top of me and the water’s spray in my face. I managed to roll over and get my hands under me, but when I pushed up, the weight hardly budged and I forced several pieces of glass into my palms.
I looked next to me to see Blitz covering me with his own body. He had inadvertently shielded me from the blast. His back was full of glass. Some of the cuts were small, but there were three larger shards that had pierced his back and two more in his legs, and all of them were bleeding profusely.
I gently pushed him off of me, careful of the glass around us and the compromised state of his body. With one hand on the wall for balance, I stood up on shaky legs and turned off the water. I pushed my wet hair out of my face, and bent back down to the man who had saved my life yet again.
Blitz…I whispered into his mind as I touched his cheek. There was a small scratch there from another piece of shrapnel. Can you hear me?
When I didn’t get a return answer, I put shaky fingertips to the pulse point in his neck. There was a faint beat, but he was alive. Inside I wanted to panic, I could feel it with each heartbeat as I looked around the destroyed bathroom.
There was no light in the room, and only sparks were flashing outside. Careful of the glass, I stepped out of the shower, and still managed to get small pieces of debris embedded in my soles. With my hands, I felt out for the walls, and followed them into the next room. My foot found the shirt I had taken off before the shower, and I cautiously slipped it over my head, not caring that I was soaking the shirt with my wet hair.
One of the candles was still glowing in the darkness, giving the room a very eerie feel. Furniture that was near the front of the apartment had been thrown five to ten feet backward from the blast. Vince’s recliner had made short work of his stripper pole, tearing it away from its bolts in the ceiling and floor before landing at the foot of the bed. I almost tripped on the pole as I made my way back to the bed’s side.
“Well, what have we here?” said a voice from the darkness.
~*~*~
“Status?” Vince asked as he stood up to pump two shells into an oncoming soldier.
“All targets eliminated in main room.”
“Another truck at front, one team moving to side entrance.”
“Another bogie down, one more to go.”
Vince gave a signal for Tank to move to the side hallway, then turned and gave a signal to Steven to continue covering the front door.
“Jericho, return to base.”
“Roger that.”

Before I could put up a fight, he was throwing me to the bed, and I was fighting to keep my shirt from riding up any higher than my thighs. Above me stood a large man carrying a larger gun and wearing a ski mask. But it was the camouflage that sent off the warning signals in my mind.
Lifting the gun’s strap over his shoulder, he tossed it onto the bed. “So, you’re what all this fuss is about.”
I climbed higher onto the bed, putting my back against the frame that I had been grasping for other reasons earlier in the day. The fear building in my throat choked me, and kept me from replying to his comment.
From behind his back, the soldier produced a roll of silver tape. He walked closer, and in the candlelight, I could see the glint of a pistol strapped to his left hip. “Well, aren’t you just the quiet one. I’m sure the colonel can break you of that little habit,” he said, laughing as he ripped a strip of tape from the roll.
He leaned over me and slapped the tape over my mouth, then grabbed my shoulders and yanked me from the bed. I kicked out at him, trying my damndest to nail him in the one area sure to bring any man to his knees. That was when he slammed me against the wall, and my head bounced off of it like a ball. The pain radiated through my skull, stunning me momentarily.
“There we go, I knew you had some fight left in you,” he said, turning me around to face the wall. He pressed himself against me, and I could feel that my failed attempt at a fight had excited him on some depraved level.
Tears started to stream from my eyes. This disgusting man who was grabbing at my arms was going to take me back to the lab. They were going to reprogram me. They were going to remove my memories again, and implant new ones. I was going to be a slave to a man who knew nothing about me, all because his father willed it so.
I heard him rip another piece of tape from the roll, and he grabbed at my wrist when I heard someone yell “Duck!” Not sure who the voice was addressing, I was alert enough that I dropped to my knees just as my attacker’s head exploded above me. I was given my second shower for the day, but this time it was in blood.

“Last bogie down. Acquired Doll, retrieving Blitz, over.”
Vince gave a long sigh with those words. He looked over the edge of the bar and didn’t see any immediate threats coming from the front. Steven gave him a thumbs-up before he started to reload his rifle, then Vince leapt over the bar and moved to cover the front door. But before he could reach the door, gunshots rang out from the hallway.

I led the way down the stairs while Jericho carried Blitz over his shoulder. He was still bleeding badly, but fortunately for him, he also remained unconscious to the pain he was sure to be suffering.
“Look, we had no idea the strike was going to come that soon. I’m so sorry, Syn,” Jericho kept pleading over and over.
I waved him off as I reached the bottom of the stairs, but was halted by someone running past me. I turned to look at who it was, but the sound of a gun caught my attention. So did the burning in my chest.
I looked down and saw a shredded hole in my shirt, and the fabric around it started to turn a very recognizable shade of red.

That's all for now, and just so you know, I'm already on the first draft of the final chapter, so no more '2 year' between chapters. Something inspired me to finish this now instead of earlier, so I'm just going to roll with it. Expect it in about a week or so! Enjoy!
