Wow. The ending seemed so...detached and slightly saddening. From there, though, I can see how something new could begin.
As I finished reading it, I sympathized with Blitz. I felt like I got kicked in the gut. It really hurts to see someone you love so much look you in the eye without them even knowing what you two went through.

It took me the better part of a day to read this through, but I'm really glad I chanced upon this story.
Context-wise, everything seemed up to par, except that you switched perspectives out of the blue in Chapter Nine, right when the love scene pops up. That's the only problem I see, really.
Content-wise, it was highly detailed and your characters were very well thought out. Your language during one sex scene seemed...I guess you could consider it sterile, maybe even procedural, but given the sci-fi setting, I didn't let it worry me too much.

Oh...the idea of cybernetically enhanced humans...the future...dolls...pleasure dolls...just...the entire plot is caked in promise and pure creativity, as well as utter steamy hotness andsuspense.
